I booked my car in for a service. They fetched the car, and told me the price. They then rang and said it was ready but it had various things wrong and would cost me another £900. I refused and they were very rude and slammed down the phone.the garage brought it back and said there was nothing wrong with the car and said they were always doing this.so BEWARE this company
They collected my car for full service I got an email saying that all work done and everything was ok with no advisories 2 hours later. Then got a phone call 30min later saying car needed brake fluid replacing@ £77and coolant replacing@ £66 I said BS as I've got report from garage and hung up then they didn't return car till next day. DO NOT USE YOU WILL BE SORRY
Booked car in... car picked up... now in garage all over weekend... no contact... no answer... garage closed... absolute joke... DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS...
Awful customer service, report to trading standards, after spending hours on the phone the guy refused to tell me the location were my car is being service. Please avoid at all cost it's not worth the headache, unreachable, rude staff overpriced charges.
I booked a service and mot for £116 then got a call asking for payment of £385 stating my car needs a special oil and brake fluid! Contacted the garage direct and was told the company is a scam and they can't wait to get out of contract with them! Servicing stop sent me an invoice! Refused to release my car and nobody answers the phone! The garage in the end helped me by closing the job their end stating no work carried out! The invoice still came to £164 despite no work being carried out and the initial quote being £116! I have reported them to trading standards and I am pursuing a case against them in civil court as I come from a family of lawyers and this organisation needs stopping! Do not go anywhere near them! Ever! Fraud alert
I was quoted £96 all in for an interim service which included a ridiculous environmental fee of £7.99 which incidentally the garage that carried out the service were unaware of. My final bill was £141.83. I had a call from Gary their customer service guy who tried to sell up the service with all the "safety" extras I needed (but didn't need at all) I have a Renault Captur which uses standard C4 oil but was told by Servicing Stop that it was special oil which was an extra £24+VAT. I confirmed with Renault that they recommend standard C4 0/30 or 5/30 and there is no special oil. I bought the car on 22/11/20 and had a full AA check. The AA topped up all the fluids including brake fluid, anti freeze, windscreen wash etc. Servicing Stop said they had to top these up and charged me £5.99+VAT. This was on 26/11/20 4 days after it was done by the AA. Gary from SS said that in the 20 years he had been there he had never had a complaint or anyone requested documentary evidence and a photograph of the 'special oil' they had to use. A complete lie as the company was registered in April 2008 so didn't exist 20 years ago! I spent 3 hours trying to get through to them but with no luck. The garage that carried out the work did say that they have had a lot of customer complaints with SS and the hard sell tactics and unnecessary extra charges. Read the reviews and honestly avoid like the plague. An Interim service from my Renault main dealer is only £160 inc VAT so what appears to be a great saving is actually not. AVOID AVOID AVOID
I really regret that I had not read the reviews first! Booked for a full service £119.00 then they called me to said that I have to change this and that but I insisted I only wanted the full services. They would not take no for answer and still changed me £379.20. I couldn't do anything as they had my car. I was still at work and my wife was working at home. The guy who brought the car back was very rude and scared my wife where she had to threaten to call 999. I'm still waiting for the breakdown bill to find out why they over changed me.

Booked a full service and I was told I had to pay extra £36 to flush my engine. Who does a full service without flushing the engines?
On top of that I was made to acquire 42mins in telephone bill to a premium number by putting me on hold only to tell me that they are not taking MOT only bookings which could have been avoided if that info was made available on their website.
I cannot rate the service as they never even collected my car on the agreed date despite them sending numerous emails and texts promising to. Could not get through to customer service line so cancelled and made alternative arrangements. Still no contact from them two days later so I tried again. Thought I would beat the system by picking the option for premium customers, took 45 minutes to answer. Was promised a refund in the next five days but it took them seven to even process it then another five to come through. DO NOT USE. Only getting one star because I cannot give zero.
Have used them before but stopped due to high charges with no evidence the work was needed. This time I was desperate for an MoT as it had run out. Then no one turned up and When I phoned the garage pretended they couldn't find me.

Paid upfront for service and cancelled immediately after reading the negative reviews which have been correct in my experience. Cancelled on 17th September, now the 5th October and still haven't received a refund. They keep sending me the same copy/pasted response that the money will be back in my account in 7 days and I can't get through to them apart from that. If you're thinking of using them I would advise you not to take the risk.
Booked online for a collection for MOT and service. Date and time confirmed as available. In the morning of collection, sat waiting for the garage to collect. And waited. And waited. 2 hours later tried phoning Servicing stop helpline. 45 minutes later, sat on hold still no joy. So gave up and tried to contact the garage directly. Managed to speak to the garage owner, who informed me he had only received my booking from servicing stop that morning, had no availability to do my car, or the 7 others they had sent through. The owner advised me he had already sent an email complaint asking servicing stop to halt bookings as he could not cope with the amount they sent through. I had already paid, and was also advised that the garage would have charged £150 on top of what servicing stop had already taken, as his prices for MOT and servicing were a minimum of £270.00. I emailed servicing stop who tried to blame the garage for the non collection, and I asked for a refund to take my business elsewhere. At no point was I offered an alternative garage, or called by servicing stop despite repeated requests. 2 weeks after threatening legal action and press involvement I received a very condescending email from Jason at servicing stop, which showed no customer care, blaming everyone else, except themselves. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY, AND FEEL FREE TO ADVISE ANYONE YOU KNOW TO DO THE SAME. By the way, I'm still waiting for a refund as according to Jason, by law they have 14 days to process the refund, then a further 7 days for it to reach your account. Sound like somewhere you want to spend money?
The worst possible service, once you are on their hand, that means, you are gone. They slaughter you. If you want to harm someone, you can refer.
I had booked a month ago and I got a call from a garage on the morning of my service and MOT to say I was too far from the garage for it to be collected, Service Stop don't answer the phone EVER so I had to take the car in myself. They are supposed to phone to say if there are any extra charges before they do the work - they didn't! The garage says they can't contacted Service Stop either. I'm 80 years old and it's the worst car service I've ever had in my long life. A better title would be "Service? Stop Using Them!"

I used in June this year.
Firstly they were two hours late collecting the car despite confirming twice by phone. The man who came to collect said he wasn't told a time. Then they returned my car with a crack in the windscreen. They left my car in a no parking zone with no warning they were returning the car and I was at work, despite me telling them via phone not to park it there risking a huge fine. I have called >10 times and sent 6 complaint emails with no response. Awful.
Cancelled on us twice, the first time we were told a day before, the second time we were just left waiting.
Had to wait on hold for 90 minutes to get through.
Had texts promising a "call to arrange collection" 4 times but never recieved any.
Just take your car direct to a local mechanic, these guys are so bad they might as-well be a scam.
Don't use these I booked well in advance for a full car service and they never turned up on the day they were supposed to tried ringing never answer their phones I waiting in all day for them a waste of time with these. Don't waste your time or money go to a proper garage I know it's more money but at least it's a better service
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A COMPLETE RIP OFF. I BOOKED A SERVICE AND MOT, PAID IN ADVANCE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DISCOUNT. THE MOT WAS NOT DONE. THEIR EXTRA CHARGES ARE ASTRONOMICAL - FORTUNATELY I REFUSED TO HAVE THE EXTRAS DONE. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. THEY DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS. STAY WELL CLEAR.

Rang the garage who basically said it's not them who collect so they couldn't help but... I was the 3rd person that week.

Will have to do a chargeback on my card but will have to wait 30 days before the bank will action.

Answer: Based on my experience it is a scam- avoid them. Pay a bit more and go direct to a reputable garage.
Answer: No need to feel stupid... I had to cough up £1544. 99 for an mot and a 40thousand mile service before They would return my car. I don't think I'll get any refund but have taken great pleasure in reporting them to Trading Standards, my credit card company, my bank, my neighbours, my relations and others and anyone who wants to listen. If I can think of anybody else that will stop them doing this to others I'll gladly report to them as well.
