Sending my boxes abroad with Sendmybag was a straightforward and smooth experience. The boxes were picked up at the agreed day and time and arrived at their destination only 3 days later. Very happy with the service and wholly recommend it.
The booking process was simple, and all inquiries were responded to promptly. The bag was collected as scheduled and delivered in 3 days! I have recommend the service to a friend, and will use the services again when required.
I used them for years to frequently send a Holdall to my house in Portugal. Always very reasonable in prices compared with Hold baggage on the flight, plus door to door service, never once any problem, courteous service each end. I would have given it 10 stars out of 6, so satisfied was I, ………… However, since Brexit (not their fault) it has become almost useless for Europe journeys in my book. My one gripe with ‘Send My Bag' is that they did not explain the resultant restrictions on the containers that can be used, until you get right to the end of the booking form. Now apparently you can only use a ‘Box' or a ‘Suitcase'. …. A ‘Box'? Until you do the final packing how do you know what size you'll need? A ‘Suitcase'?…. Having got that there, how do you get an ‘empty' suitcase back to the UK other than by paying for nothing? This major change to European journeys needed to be brought to our attention at THE START of the booking procedure.
N. B. If you're shipping stuff within the UK I'm sure their excellent service has not changed!

Send my bag was recommended to us. how fabulous it is. Picked up from my front door delivered to my hotel in Austria around 5 days later. Returning journey as good picked up from hotel and delivered to my front door … we travel to Europe by train so this is excellent for us.

It took me a while to understand the online instructions and if you dont have a computer and a way of printing out the labels things can be quite difficult but once I mastered it, it was ok. You do need to have a lot of material ready like staples, cellotape, etc in order to secure the labels. Not easy if you are abroad and you are in a hotel. Also the driver does not come up to a floor, you need to take the suitcase or parcel downstairs. But it arrived quite quickly at the given address. I would certainly use it again
I felt very confident in arranging the transportation of boxes and luggage from south of England to Scotland. Everything went smoothly from using the website to the delivery during lockdown. The only fault I could find is that I had to screenshot the label to send to my friend in England to stick to my boxes, it would easier if I could opt where to send the labels to. Other than that, I would definitely use them again.
