I have used send my bag many times in the past and they always provide an excellent service.
I used this company to send two boxes from the USA to Czechia. They promise to take care of everything and smooth delivery. As instructed I have bought boxes on Amazon size 20x15x15 that made a volume of 4.5 cubic feet within their requirements. I also weighed each of the 2 boxes and none of them exceeded 33 lb (as required). As it turned out you need to spend 12 months abroad to send your package without custom fees but nobody told us. We got an email from DHL with numerous documents to fill (all in Czech) and in the end, they demanded an extra $300 for delivery. We called the company but they did not want to help. They claim that they ship internationally but had no idea what are the customs rules in Czechia. It would be cheaper for us if we took these boxes with us to the plane and pay an extra $3 per pound.
And today, after a week from delivery I got an email that we owe them an additional $34 for overweight. This is a dya light robbery. Do not trust this company. They don't have any shame!
They used DHL to subcontract my shipping.

I am putting one star because there is no lower review. This is the worse I have ever experienced. Not only was I charged double the estimate rate for a golf bag that only included 14 clubs but I received an email with a charge saying that my package exceeded the required weight and measure by 15% but the charge was DOUBLE! Then I asked a customer service rep to send me the real weight and never got a response. This is a complete ripoff! Also the only tracking that I got was from DHL Express not from Sendmybag. They are just an app not a freight service. I feel that I was stuck up. Unbelievable! Will never use their service again!
I highly recommend this company anytime you may need to ship something oversees. It was easy from start to finish. Not to mention the package arrived much earlier than it was supposed to and it was just such a wonderful experience. Can't recommend this company enough!
SendMyBag were superb - from my first initial phone call, to booking on-line, to having my bag picked-up in Croatia and then delivered in Italy, earlier than expected.

Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
