Having used SendmyBag before with perfect results, I sent a bag in January 2022. Since being widowed, and having had a shoulder repair, travelling with my physically and intellectually impaired brother is a little stressful. So I thought rather than add a bag to flight after Christmas I'd use SendmyBag. £37 was cheaper than adding it anyway. However, I have been hounded by FedEx ever since February and have now had to pay them €27.20 on top. So no, I won't be using again and neither will I recommend it.
I have used SendMyBag a couple of times over the past several years to ship luggage home to the USA from the UK. The price has been reasonable and the service excellent. The last time I used them, I had a problem with my bag pick-up, and they quickly scheduled an alternative date for me without any problem. Very satisfied.
As a first time user of Send My Bag I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. I shouldn't have worried as it was a very seamless experience, very professional and efficient. Suitcase was delivered earlier than promised... No problems at all. I was kept informed the whole way. Will definitely use them again.

Very quick pickup and very quick delivery! Great communication! On the day of delivery, I was away from home and was able to request my bag be left on the back patio and it was! Very pleased each and every time I have used Send My Bag! Will definite again!

Fast, precise, affordable
All dealings were great they were efficient and responsive. Delivery in Spain was terrible - it was days late and the communications were non-existent, the tracking number didn't work.

My daughter waited in for 2 days for collection of her case which was never uplifted on the day it was booked for. Company gave alternative place for case to be taken by herself which were for small parcel collections only. Company offered refund of funds paid and my daughter had to make alternative arrangements at additional costs to herself. Company offered apology and £5 compensation then increased to £25 but in vouchers for the company! Very disappointing service and be very careful before you think of using this company.
The best service ever so quick and it even came early. Everything was inside and the bags came to the front of my door couldn't ask for a better service. Thank you again.
I have used them several times going back and forth from the USA and the UK and have always had great service. They are helpful and friendly and make it easy to get paperwork done. I would definitely recommend them.
I had to buy a measuring tape and send pictures of me measuring the suitcase twice for the charge of £38.40 to be dropped. Too much hassle and no compensation was provided. If I pay for a service and then am wrongly accused of providing false measurements, I'd expect at least a proper apology.
I wish they operated in Brazil because I would definitely hire them. I sent a 23kg suitcase from Hamburg to Rome and the service was great. They picked up and delivered on time and answered emails almost immediately. The tag they send is also very helpful.
The whole experience with Send My Bag was excellent - bags were picked up as requested & arrived on time at my destination.
The contents of one or 2 of my cases had got wet in transit but that would have been due to the processing at the airports which, I assume, is outside the control of Send My Bag.
The only other comment I would make is that it would be better if they could provide a 2hr time slot for picking up the bags. I was only told they would be there between 09.00 and 18.00 on the specified day - they finally arrived at 16.30 which meant that I had had to wait at home all that day when I could have been out taking care of other preparations for my departure.
However, I would definitely recommend their service to others.
Things started off fairly well. I packed up 6 boxes making extra sure that my fragile items were very well-wrapped. SendMyBag was unclear on who was picking up what or when, but my boxes got delivered more or less on time.
Half my items were broken, including less fragile items. All I got was an "oops" and reimbursement for not even half a box.

Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
