I ordered 2 different size window blinds and the order came in wrong. They switched the measurements for the 2 windows I needed covered. We installed it, it's not great, but probably not worth the hassle of returning and reordering.
Experience was great. Quality was not. 2 out of 4 blinds I ordered do not work correctly. I didn't get them installed for several weeks after delivery so didn't file a complaint.
We ordered 6 fairly large cordless cellular shades for an accessory dwelling unit—4 room-darkening shades for the two bedrooms and light filtering shades for the living/kitchen area. We followed the measuring instructions carefully, and all the shades fit into the windows well (interior mounted), and the installation went smoothly. The room darkening shades are very effective in minimizing the light in the bedrooms when they are closed. The only improvement I would like to see is more responsive action from the cordless feature. The issues might be related to the large size of our shades, but I find I have to "encourage" the shades to go up with repeated upward nudges rather than being able to smoothly lift them up to a higher position.
I purchased the insurance just in case something was wrong with my order. There was! When I initially reached out to customer service, they responded. But it's been over a week, and there is still no resolution to my issue.

My blinds were not provided with the appropriate mounting hardware and it took 3 weeks to have the hardware sent. Through the process there were no updates on shipment and I contacted customer service 4 times before they were able to provide me with any update on the shipment. Each time I called customer service there was a 30-45 minute wait to speak to anyone.

Quality of the product is good but service is very poor. I ordered a cellular blackout blind from them that arrived about 10 days after the order but did not have appropriate mounting hardware included. I both called and chatted with them on the website and they put in orders to have the hardware sent but it never went through or was shipped and it has been over a week. They similarly just keep saying it will come but they do not. If you do have issues with the product provided they do not seem to provide adequate assistance.
We had initial trouble getting our samples delivered. Had to reorder and expedite. Blinds received in a timely manner and fit nicely and are working great!
The pleated shade we ordered fits perfectly and looks very nice. My only complaint is with the website: every time I searched for pleated shades, it seemed to take me to a different spot, and I had to call to get help in finding what I was looking for for. Otherwise, I'm happy with Selection Blinds.
Way cheaper than both the in house estimates I got for essentially the same thing. Like WAAAAYYYYYY cheaper. Ordering process was simple, received size was perfect on all items. Installation was easy including battery.
Ordering instructions are easy and complete. Once I ordered, I was kept apprised of my order status and it arrived much more quickly than I expected. Installation was a breeze.
I like that the shades are made custom to my window size for both the length and width of the window, unlike the shades purchased in the big box stores that are usually much to long for the window opening. The installation is a breeze and took only about twenty minutes including the time to un-box the new shade, and in my application, remove the old blinds. I'm aa very happy repeat customer.
Absolutely terrible quality and even worse customer service. The blinds I received were bad quality, and despite multiple attempts to contact customer support, they have done nothing to resolve the issue.

First we went into the big box stores to look around and ask questions. But lo and behold, we could not find anyone in or around the blinds section. Because no one was there to help us, we had to help ourselves and Select Blinds made that possible. The website was very user friendly and there was a fantastic coupon available that we took advantage of. We measured the window exactly as they said to do. Picked out the color and style of blinds we wanted and placed our order. We looked at the other online blinds stores and not one of them compared to Select Blinds selection of products and most important, the sizing of the window we were trying to cover. The sizing allowed for more precise measurement and confidence that we were going to get the exact covering we needed to install easily in our home. When the blinds arrived, in one long box, with every installation piece of hardware we needed, we were able to install our new window covering and it fit perfectly! 10/10 would recommend Select Blinds to anyone needing to cover windows in their home. We will certainly be back to update the other windows we have with coverings from Select Blinds.
We have a long but narrow picture window in our living room. We have done curtains, but it being the place in the room for a couch, the curtains get in the way.
Finally bit the bullet and ordered a custom shade. ITS AMAZING and great quality. Will order from them again.
Excellent service and excellent results. I know when I place an order at select blinds I will get exactly the blinds specified and in a timely manner. The only complaint is that I prefer corded blinds and esp. If used for commercial where regulations are not applicable, I would prefer to be able to specify corded blinds
I am a contractor and I had a client specifically ask for the type of blinds that select blinds sells. I never used them but they was the only company that I could find to make custom sizes. I gave all the measurements needed in the order and everything came back to me perfectly cut. I couldn't be happier with my experience with this company and would recommend to anyone that is looking for blinds.
I'm still waiting to hear back from customer service on a fix but both the original make and remake for the motorized premier blackout top down bottom up blinds with the no-drill mount has been a bad experience through and through. The pre mounted brackets in both makes align with the batteries and internals on the blinds so you can't mount. I suggested they also just send normal brackets with the remake but that was ignored. I could probably just take the brackets off and remount but for how much I spent on these I think that's ridiculous.
The first set even came pretty marked up from them trying to mount/test them at the factory. I'm guessing they gave up and just shipped.
Stick to their cheaper, less techy options and you should be ok. I've bought a lot of blinds from them over the years and am now looking at other vendors. Seems like the QC process has gone downhill.
I was told I would hear back about the remake three days ago, but nothing. Almost two months since my original order date.
Oh and they denied the fact that when I ordered these they didn't offer the $9.99 resize insurance. Idk if it was a site glitch or what. Not that I need that but just be aware.

We did a replacement of our bathroom blind. And they work really great. There were a little different in there are no adjustment rod. But now i like them better and fast to set.
I am so pleased w/ the color and quality of the pleated roman shades. They were easy to install and look great. I also got the black out style and it keeps the room dark even w/ bright sunlight.
Would not buy again. Cheaply made. When you raise and lower blind it is hard to get it lined up so it is straight. I don't think it will hold up over time.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
