Not only did they not give me my money back on covid, but they gave me a time limit that lasts through covid! So I won't be able to even use their service from a $1300 purchase.
I will use ticket master next time, and I do not advise paying money to this company since when an emergency happens they will take it out of their paying customers wallets (who were also impacted by COVID)
When the website of my local theatre did not open up quickly, I called a contact (877) number I found on the second page and got to Secure Box Office. They are pleasant and accommodating while they sell you tickets at a greater price than those the local theatre offers, but as soon as the transaction is complete, they will not respond to calls or emails and live chats. They announce up front that there are no refunds or cancellations, but I called back within minutes of buying their expensive tickets and met a stonewall. I tried their live chat 3 times but they did not respond. My only recourse was to call my credit card company and ask them to stop payment on the transaction. I will hear what happens in a few days. Terrible experience... I spent $1200 on tickets for an event that has been delayed over a month, no contact, no updates, just talk about we will get you a return when we get a final cancellation. What, they going to hold if for another 6 months?
Couldn't reach a live agent on the phone so user chat... useless, canned responses.

Do not five these people your credit card. Paid for George Strait tickets canceled due to Covid. Company WILL NOT provide a refund. Disgusting fraudulent practices by this entity. JOHN in customer harassment department will not provide the name and address of the company. They hide behind a fraudulent website taking peoples money with no recourse. Hideous!
I had planned to order tickets on line, but it didn't show a senior discount so I called and talked with Ceasar. He was very pleasant & patient in answering all my questions. My on-line tickets arrived very quickly. I would definitely recommend this service!
This site is a scam! Took our money and the game was canceled but no one will answer us about the guaranteed refund. Also the so called live chat is automated so that's a lie as well. I'm reporting them to my local Congressman
Janet Jackson was cancelled due to Corvid and they do not want to give us our money back... everyone else has been nice and refunding people but not them... anyone having the same problems and would like to file a case action lawsuit against this company? First overcharge for tickets now this nightmare! Do not buy anything from this company bad service!
Thought I was purchasing tickets from the venue- didn't realize I had been redirected to a third party seller. Selected two tix at 116/each. Filled in my credit card info / email etc.
AFTER I selected submit/purchase, I was emailed a receipt revealing a total cost of $320. Secure Box Office had added $80 of service fees for two tickets.
Perhaps I somehow missed the reveal of the service fee amount, but be VERY careful if you are purchasing from them. I expect a fee of $15-20/ticket, but I feel a 30% service fee is quite unreasonable. I emailed and called to see if I could cancel, but no one ever responded to my email, and I hung up after waiting on hold for 20 minutes. I won't be using this seller again, and will let others know.
First of all I purchased $68.00 tickets in November 2019. When the bill was totaled it was over $191.00 I did not request insurance or anything else, the $191,00 is unfounded. Now the concert has been rescheduled 3 times! I would think an indoor concert during a pandemic is certainly grounds for a FULL refund. Not according to this outfit the concert is now scheduled for February 2021. They refuse to contact me regarding this or refund my money. Horrible rip off STAY AWAY!
The crooks will not issue a refund to me. They offer credit for a new venue but have to use it before 2020 is over. I want my money back. They claim their policy indicates they dont do that. But that is false. Crooks. I am taking them down!
Brady took me step by step through the process ensuring to remind me of the US dollars and service charges. While the tickets ended up being far more expensive than I would have liked that wasn't his fault. Polite, knowledgeable and patient.
The Maroon 5 concert originally was.to be 6/5/2020. On 4/5/2020 it was postponed until 7/21/21. Today, 4/5/2021 it is canceled. SBO is not offering refunds of any kind. They are offering 120% store credit without option of a refund of what I paid. I paid $845 for 6 tickets which in and of itself is ridiculous. It was for a special occasion so I decided to do it and decided it would be the. Last time. I use a reseller. It's to only way to get ticket and it's not right. Thus one last time was my plan. How can we band together and stop the ripping off of people that just want to enjoy a live event? It so wrong for Secure Box Office to NOT refund the hard earned money paid almost 28 months ago. Such a shame!
Purchased tickets actually through Ticketmaster but somehow routed to secureboxoffice. Have tried for over a year to get a refund through mail, email and messages on their site. Concert was postponed due to Covid. I explained I needed the money and even if they rescheduled, I would not be able to go in another year. Response was basically "too bad". I don't even know how to retrieve these electronic tickets!
Hiding the total value of the purchase until you find some obscure web link to actually display the total amount is dishonest at best. $115 X2 (this is what's displayed) For $65 face value tickets, led me to believe the service charge was included. To my surprise, after you click the purchase button and the actual total amount is shown (without additional clicking to find it), do you find out it is not. Lesson learned. I will do my best to make sure others are aware of this business practice.
For those that missed the link to display the full total, it is left, forth bullet that reads "*Before shipping & service fees". If you don't click that before you click the purchase button, you will be responsible for the total amount that was not disclosed.
I spent over 700.00 on concert tickets and other things, when the events were cancelled the venue I used transferred it to a store credit with this company. But if you try to buy other tickets there's no option for store credit. I emailed to ask how I would use my credit to purchase different tickets. That's been 4 days ago with no reply.
Anyone filed a complaint with BBB or is there any other way to get our money back?
Do NOT get your tickets from here! I spent almost 400.00 on a ticket for this years Boston Calling, for one day and for that specific line up. They refused to refund it, and then assured me that I will get another ticket for next years event, obviously not guaranteeing the acts I paid to see. You wouldn't piss so many people off, if you would've broken your policy due to the pandemic, it's that simple.
Purchased four tickets to a live production, the website gave every impression that the price was the total for all four tickets when in fact it was for each ticket! With their obscene handling fee of $508 the four tickets ended up costing me $2,800! The charges were cleverly positioned on the confirmation where it was easy to miss. Didn't find out until I checked my credit card transactions. A sleezy outfit bordering on a scam!
Ordered tickets for Dead & Company. Covid 19 cancelled all show. They refuse to give a full refund - even when Dead & Co said they would refund everyone's money. This company is overpriced and has the worst customer service ever. No on can call because they are closed due to Covid 19. I filed a claim with Maura Healey, Attorney General for Massachusetts against this company.

First of all, I am a very positive laid-back person. I normally give a lot of positive reviews. But this one deserves every negative word.
I purchased three tickets for almost $1000 four months ago for Christmas presents. I specifically purchased seats directly in front of the stage.
And Two days before the concert they changed my section and called it an upgrade. To a section that the tickets that not only cost less, but are more on the side of the stage. I spent over an hour and a half emailing and on the phone. And they would not do anything to give me the tickets that I originally purchased.
They offered $100 coupon for my next purchase. That is a laugh! I would never purchase through this company again! I highly recommend that you do not. It has been a very frustrating process!
And sad to say that we will be watching Billie Eilish from the side instead of the front, like we paid for!
