Your ranking of 4+ Stars on this site is inaccurate and false. You show 12 negative revies in 2023 and you still rank them from their very first one.

I gave them a 1 star only because there are none lower. These guys are pure scammers, con men. Tell your family, tell your friends NOT to go anywhere near these guys. I placed an order over 3 months ago, they double charged my bank, refunded only one charge, and have refused to pay me back the rest of the money they took from me.

Complete rip off. Cant get on phone ever. Ordered a chair on dec 19th. As of Jan 2nd was still pending. No communication etc. I cancelled the order. Was told would have the refund within a week, of course it took two weeks and its short 60 dollars. My guess is they took a restock fee for a chair they never sent, never got even to ship status. Buyer beware.

The phone number my credit card has for them goes to positive stars, which is a company that helps boost their ratings online. They obviously need it.

DON'T WASTER YOUR MONEY! All the positive reviews on this site must be fake. I purchased a refurbished Herman Miller chair from this company. Refurbished? It arrived filthy, scratched, dented and smelling like it had come out of a moldy basement. Oh. And it's broken. Most of the adjustment controls are loose and just don't work. As for the purchase experience, communication was almost non-existent, until I asked how to cancel my order, after which it shipped pretty quickly. Now I have to decide if it's worth going through the massive hassle it will be to return it (and pay shipping AND a "restocking" fee), or if I should just accept the fact that I've been swindled, and take the chair to the dump where it belongs.

Don't trust the reviews on their site or this site. Look at the reviews on the BBB, this site intentionally misleads customers by showing pictures of chairs they do not have and they intentionally defraud consumers by knowingly shipping them something they did not order. You get what you pay for and it is more true here than anywhere. Do not make the same mistake I made.

I ordered an expensive chair. They charged my credit card immediately (not at the time of shipping as many places do). It took them a MONTH to even ship my chair. For a month they had my money and my chair and were non-responsive to most of my attempts to communicate with them. When I finally received my chair, the box was badly damaged and open, there was no invoice/packing slip included, there were no instructions or other documentation from the manufacturer in the box, the chair was not wrapped in ANY protective covering, and the chair was damaged (scraped and scuffed) as a result of the open/damaged box. My very expensive chair was basically just dismantled, tossed in a box, and shipped. The positive reviews are FAKE. I'm certain of it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - the chair I received was dirty and broken. Customer service is hiding behind email and will not handle the problem but just wants to deny. Will be reporting this company to AG and BBB

BBB has received multiple reports from consumers that Seating Mind is taking orders and processing payments, but not delivering the merchandise or delivering poor quality merchandise. Consumers report that the business does not honor refund requests or its advertised "free returns" policy. "

Check their reviews on Better Business Bureau (we wish we did)

After a long wait for shipping status of a Herman Miller chair, we cancelled the order. After we cancelled, they still sent emails regarding impending order process. After we sent a couple requests, they sent cancellation confirmation without refund info. After a couple more emails to request a full refund, they sent a partial refund. And after an email to demand the remaining refund amount since cancellation happened before order was even processed, they sent email stating cancellation being completed with no mentioning of the remaining refund. Dispute is being handled by PayPal.
Dealing with these unscrupulous people is a health hazard. The savings is not worth the stress and loss of faith in our business community. For peace of mind, do business with reputable companies.

P. S So baffled and full of doubts with those high ratings

I ordered a Herman Miller chair and it came pretty quick and as ordered. I noticed a few issues like the left arm doesn't stay up after locking into place and the back leaning ability seems 'off'. The chair also does not have any serial tag or Identification that it is a Herman Miller chair. I have reach out to Seating Mind for warranty information only to be asked over and over for a video of the broken chair. The shortest I can make the video to show the broken components is 55MB which I cannot send via email. Needles to say I am stuck with a 'so called Herman Miller' chair that is supposed to have a 12 year warranty and I cannot get any information or serial number for the chair to contact Herman Miller. My advice is avoid purchasing from Seating Mind if you are looking for a high end chair like Herman Miller.

SCAM

Total SCAM. I purchased what was supposed to be a "refurbished" chair only to receive a filthy & broken chair. I contacted their customer "service" only to be told that the listing on the site did not include lumbar support (the part that was broken in shipping). The customer "service" agent suggested that I simply throw the lumbar support piece out because that wasn't part of the advertised product. Total SCAM company. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased a $600 Aeron chair which proceeded to fall apart about 2 months after I bought it. When I tried to get them to do something about it, they ignored me and ignored me. They finally contacted me once I posted a negative review on them. They offered me a refund and a pre-paid return. I accepted and then they went back to ignoring me. They claimed it "was very hard" because with the 4 months it took them to ship it and then the months they ignored me - it was now over 6 months and this made it VERY hard to get the return approved.

They now have completely ignored me. The promised me a return label to stop me from posting bad reviews - and now they ignore me completely.

Product falls apart and then their "customer service" team ignores and does what they can to no stand behind their products.

Horrible Customer Service

They shipped us the wrong chair, and rather than providing us the right chair - they offered us a discount on the chair we didn't order. Then they were out of the chair we ordered. Sounds like a bait and switch. Rather than going above and beyond for their mistake - they made the whole situation a complete hassle and made us ship back the wrong chair with no replacement of a comparable chair.

They take your money. They give you a a shotty number for tracking but I ordered March 27th 2020. The chair has yet to be shipped and their phone doesn't work and they will not respond. They havent shipped and I just want my money back.

Be skeptical

The delivered product was not the product ordered. It was of a lower spec. And missing the extra modules that were paid for. Resolution has been extremely difficult and time consuming, still with no resolution. Prior to placing an order be sure to review their BBB rating - I wish I had!

My wife purchased a chair through seatingmind.com on December 1 2022 for $347.99 as a Christmas Gift. The chair did not fit our desk and we returned it under their return policy within the timeframe they had designated. They received the returned chair on January 12. We had not received the refund by Jan 22 and inquired and they indicated that the refund was processed "but still pending" and we should check again in 14 days. On April 22 we had still not received the refund and contacted them again. They indicated "it seems the refund did not go through the first time I issued it" and "it should come through in 3-4 business days". I reached out again on April 30 when it still hadn't been received. I also asked for someone to call me and tried calling them but only got a recorded message telling me to contact them by e-mail. This time they asked for our PayPal address. On May 11 we still had not received the refund either to our credit card or PayPal and I reached out again. This time no reply at all. Better Business Bureau indicates for Seating Mind that "As of 2/10/22, this business's Certificate of Formation or Authorization has been revoked by the New Jersey State Treasurer." Reviews on the BBB site give it a rating of 1.8 out of 5. We are extremely disappointed with this business.

Ordered a new condition Aeron chair with a couple upgrades and it wound up taking 2-3 times longer than what was quoted to receive the chair. Once it arrived I realized it was the wrong chair, a refurbished model in a different size without any of the upgrades. Notified them right away and they offered to refund some of the money if I kept it but since it was a smaller version that wasn't an option so they sent a return shipping label. Once the chair was returned to them they only issued a partial refund, keeping a 20% restocking fee, and are no longer replying to emails and the only phone number listed goes to an answering machine that nobody checks or replies to.

I purchased a chair from this website 4 months ago. It was estimated that it would take three weeks due to the coronavirus backing up their supply line. Fine, I understand. After 3 months, I finally received an update from their horrible support network that took 3-4 days to answer each email that I would be receiving my chair within the next week. After getting an update that said my chair was delivered, it was never actually delivered. Fedex and Seatingmind kept sending me to each other to fix the issue. Neither provided a solution to my missing chair and now I can't get a response from their support network as I guess I have already been scammed out of hundreds of dollars. Do NOT use this service.

I was scammed into buying an older model chair Aeron (had all has no labels or serial #'s on it) which I thought was going to be new. Herman Miller chairs are supposed to have a 12 year warranty but they will not honor warranty because I have no paperwork from a authorized dealer. Seatingmind is NOT an authorized dealer! Also they put a monthly recurring charge on my card which my credit card company is now investigating. This site should be shut down.

After ordering my chair and being assigned a tracking number, it became clear after 2 weeks it had never actually been shipped. I emailed and they responded a few days later to let me know they actually shipped it. I finally got the chair today, 3 weeks after ordering. The chair arrived with a huge fabric defect in the middle of the seat and the fabric was not the color I ordered. I called customer serice and was unable to reach a person to speak with. I left a message and sent another email. So far I have not heard back. If I can ever get in contact with the company, I'm going to return the chair. It's super disappointing. Do not order with this company!

I purchased an Aeron chair for about $400. The seat frame cracked after less than 9 months and I was told the piece would be replaced if I sent photos and my order number, which I did. After chasing the company for several months after that, I was finally told the crack was normal wear and tear and I should crazy glue it.
