Think Chair

I purchased this chair for $289 and its slowly sinking all the way to the bottom and its defective. I am communicating with customer service and they want me to record the chair slowly sinking to replace it. The chair is slowly sinking over time I cant record this but they would see that its defective when they recieve the chair and sit on it themselves. I am not happy at all with the customer service nor the product.

Horrid Experience!
November 30, 2019

Purchased an Aeron chair. They charged me the day I ordered but shipped it almost 20 days later. The chair was missing features and the headrest I purchased.

I contacted customer service, they requested photos of which I sent. Customer service confirmed the missing features and asked if I would install and sent me a video on how to complete the installation. I noted that I wasn't thrilled to perform the install, but would try or if I was concerned I would return the chair.

All communication has gone dark, no replies, not even to a request to return the chair. I expected a used chair, and it was certainly used and dirty. I didn't expect a chair missing the features I purchased.

I would not recommend spending your hard-earned money with this company.

I received this "Knoll" chair with extremely sharp screws embedded throughout the armrest of the chair. It easily punctures through every time you put your hand over the armrest and caused my finger to bleed. Please be aware.

Chair showed up 10 days late-----2 days later, THE BASE OF THE CHAIR BROKE IN 3 PIECES. When you call "customer service", you'll never talk to anyone except an answering machine. Email is the only communication method. 2 weeks later, they sent me a new part, WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS, FILLED WITH COBWEBS, AND PROVIDED ZERO help in putting the chair back together. Clearly they dug the replacement part out of some warehouse corner, it was disgusting and used. People are horrible, terrible at communication, DO NOT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM unless you want to donate money to a shifty company. AWFUL.

Ordered a 650$ chair. Allegedly "in stock"--- no delivery and repeated promises about the date... finally cancelled and they swore they's refund me within a week. Fortunately AMEX will refund me!

This is bogus... stay away.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Responsive and reasonable. However, the chair had some damage on it on the right side where plastic was attached to the metal frame. And the recliner function was completely broken. Customer service was a pleasure to work with though.

I understand that I bought a refurbished chair
September 23, 2019

I understand that I bought a refurbished chair - but it was poorly put together (things are loose all over the place), had scratches on the leather and had broken wheels (I replaced the wheels the next day).

I would have and for an exchange but didn't want to wait another 3 weeks which is how long it took to get this one.

Unless there something (quick) that can be done about the chair I received, I'm not shopping here again.

The only complaint was the delay in processing the order and shipping it. Then there is FedEx who delayed delivery for some unknown reason. The tracking showed the shipment reached a nearby distribution center at 6am. It should have gone out for local delivery that morning. It was not delivered on the estimated day even though it should have. It took entire additional business day for FedEx to move the item from limbo to being out for delivery the following business day. Instead of receiving it Saturday it arrived Tuesday. So not really happy with your preference of shipping provider (FedEx). If it wasn't paid for Saturday delivery it should not have been estimated.

Overall, I am very happy with the Humanscale Freedom chair. It has only a few scuffs and scratches (expected on used office chairs). The rollerblade style casters are very good. The price is very reasonable and it arrived in good and clean condition.

I am recommending Seating Mind to friends and colleagues who want a quality name brand office chairs for home. The junk chairs being sold for $200 break in a years time and even the chairs sold through Office Supply or discount box stores are terrible. Other office chair suppliers deal in bulk sales and you need an appointment. It was nice to find Seating Mind who will sell direct and ship to individuals.

The overall chair is extremely comfortable and I am happy with the purchase but the material stitching quality on the seat was less than I anticipated. I also feel that the company could improve upon the communication regarding shipping. I anticipated that my order was processed and I would receive the chair very shortly. The reality is that the chair is ordered and processed and that is approx. 10-15 business days prior to being available to ship.

I was thrilled to get the good quality chair for half the cost of the original price. Yet, there was a catch. The chair shipped was not new and has very visible signs of wear and tear. The issue was resolved buy full refund, yet we wasted time with a return.
