Bought a ticket to the Angels game in Anaheim.
Upon entering the stadium, staff scanned bar code on my phonfe and informed me the ticket had already been used.
Apparently seatgeek's vendor sold multiple tickets for the same seat.
At least seatgeek blamed it on a vendor.
They said they would do an investigation, but i don't expect anything to come of it.
Never again. Lesson learned. Beware.
I guess my biggest problem with this game is that the FBI is utilizing public funds for a witch hunt all in the name of the NCAA's scam of amateurism, a model that is based on the false assumption that athletes' labor is adequately compensated by a university education despite the fact that their work could gain them far more in the open market. This system seems designed to denigrate their work, as though it is something less valuable than standard employment, which is not impeded by business practices promoted by our government. But I guess that's not SeatGeek's fault. The seats were okay. I lost money at the casino. The end.
I had a price of $52 each ticket and had the open window, trying to find code, and then site crashed or something but it would not go through so when I went back on the tickets were more $59 i think? And really high "fees". I was stuck since my child really wanted to go to this concert and I had promised them once I saw the original price. Not a huge difference, but really really annoying, and "unfair"
Hi Donna,
I'm sorry to hear that the price changed on your order. Due to our nature as a secondary ticket market, sometimes prices will fluctuate. As we are connecting buyers to sellers, those sellers will often update their listings either increasing or decreasing the prices as it gets closer to the event. As for the fees, we do our best to keep them lower or comparable to other ticket platforms. You can search for listings with fees included in the future, as that will make sure there are no surprises at checkout.
I just posted a couple tickets and read all of these horrible reviews... I really hope this isn't true, but i'm calling my credit card company now and canceling the transaction. This insane. You people should be sued and put out of business for STEALING people's money!
Hi Christina, we're sorry that we weren't able to provide you with an awesome experience. SeatGeek is a search engine that aggregates listings from hundreds of ticket websites, all of whom are vetted and come with full guarantees. If you ever have questions, you can reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com. We'd love to help!
Using SeatGeek for the first time was definitely easy, but I do regret that there was an issue with what I feel were hidden fees. During the entire transaction, I never saw that the app would charge me $30 per ticket as a service fee until the very end. As you are going through the process, your attention is held to the left of the screen, including the last "Confirm" button. Sadly, just as I hit that button to confirm my purchase, I realized (too late) that on the right was a running tally of the charges. Talk about a surprise! My total for 5 $68 tickets to a college football game came to almost $500! Couldn't cancel or request a refund. I was SOL. Buyer beware, and make sure you are reading EVERYTHING before you click "confirm". And just so you know, they have a hidden a 20% off discount coupon for first-time users in a post about whether their services are legit or not. Again, didn't see it in time for it to do me any good, but maybe it'll work for you!
I bought concert tickets approximately 6weeks ago. Said concert was canceled in less than 4 days of purchase. I immediately requested a refund & here we are 6 weeks later without a refund. Customer service has given me the runaround from day one of trying to get my money back. I disputed the charge with my Credit Card company. Finally,Seat Geek says if I have the CC Company remove the dispute they will process my refund. I did so only to then have Seat Geek say that they need a document from my CC company saying that the dispute was lifted & a screenshot will not be accepted. I've since filed a new dispute with the CC company. No one should have to beg & jump through hoops to receive their money back. It sure was a Quick process to take my money. I would advise to NEVER do business with Seat Geek.
Terrible Company, we did not receive our tickets and their 100% guarantee is trash! They refused to replace our tickets like they state on their site. We were on the phone with them for a total of 12 hours in 2 days. DO NOT EVER go through this company for anything. Our family traveled to Charlotte and paid for hotels and our trip was ruined.
Great place to buy tickets from cheapest you can find. I would highly recommend using this and with your first purchase if you use the code ZACK you get 20$ off. I have bought tickets from SeatGeek at least 10 times and never had anything but a positive experience using this. I very much enjoy using this to get tickets concerts along with sporting events
I have always loved SeatGeek due to having nice aesthetics, being reliable, and presenting information effectively. All of that was true for my latest purchase, but for some reason the seats I had desired occasionally disappeared--it might have been some sort of glitch with the interface when it zoomed in and out of the team's stadium. However, I was still able to obtain the seats I wanted and, minus that glitch, I was very content.
This company is a scam! When trying to purchase tickets, after entering payment information, a message would pop up saying "oops something went wrong".
They charged my card 9 times (then it was refunded) except for the 4 tickets I purchased for $354.00. The tickets say that they have not yet been confirmed by the seller but it shouldn't take long. It's now been 3 days since my card got charged & still no tickets. I have e-mailed them multiple times & no response. I called customer service & its a long hold time 2+ hours & then once someone answers, they hang up. I simply want to cancel the order for those 4 tickets & get my refund. So angry & disappointed! Never using Seat Geek again! Stay away! Just pay the extra money & go to StubHub. Lesson learned.
I ordered a ticket for a Dallas Stars game. The couldn't provide me with a ticket or a refund. I wound up using Stub Hub to save the day. Customer service is out of the country and can't help you. Don't use Seat Geek use you wan for be left outside an event.
$2K. Couple folks had same tickets. Guy at gate says happens all the time and to call SeatGeek. Bought them with Amex, so hopefully get money back.
Just changed my review from 1 to 5. While the Hamilton tickets were fraudulent due to a bad apple seller of tickets on the Seatgeek platform and it did ruin evening, SeatGeek handled situation quickly and in a very satisfactory manner. Look forward to using SeatGeek again.
Sean, that is a massively disappointing thing to hear and we're so sorry that this was your experience. Please email us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll work to not only refund you but discuss options for further compensation.
I've never personally used this website or product, however their ad choice and how they present themselves says enough. Seatgeek ads get to me, they traumatize me. I don't wanna see someone's $#*! talking before I watch my YouTube video. I can't stand it, the torment, the voices, it's all awful. Please just redo your video advertisements, I can't take it.
I paid for next day air for a parking pass for the football game Saturday. (this was Tuesday) It's Friday and still no ticket. UPS says they mailed it late and I won't receive it before I leave to travel to the game. I have emailed twice SeatGeek with no response. Very frustrated and will never use again.
I looked on the Seat Geek site for baseball tickets but didn't accept the offer. Nonetheless, I was charged and money was removed from my account ($166). I have written to the SeatGeek support team and they do not even respond!
Hey,
I often buy tickets on Seat Geek or my friends. I'm pretty loyal to the site and thought the site could offer some package at the end of the season when tickets aren't selling as much. Knowing the blue jays won't make the series, the demand will probably be down. Therefore, they could have a package (5 games for 50$) - I know Philly or some other city did that with their team
A couple days later i received the other two sets of tickets by FedEx. Same thing only worse. Seats even worse than the first set, never would have bought these either and on top of that seats were a partial/obstructed view which SeakGeek customer service assured me two different times would be noted or shown before final purchase was processed. Nothing was noted at any time before or during or after purchase process.
I will be contacting SeatGeek for refund of these tickets.
Truly terrible policies.
I used SeatGeek to get tickets for 3 families, 10 people. All good (saw all pricing, site works quickly, etc) until had to pick seats, could not see any seat info.
I spent couple hours explaining to our group, everyone frustrated and unhappy. Bought 3 sets of tickets finally.
The first set of tickets seats are terrible. Would have never bought these if knew where the seats were.
Waiting for delivery of the other 2 sets of tickets and everyone on me bec they saw how bad the seats in the 1st set were.
This is terrible customer service. SeatGeek can easily have seat info provided and avoid putting customers thru this frustration and uncertainty.
Will avoid using SeatGeek until this changed.

I bought a ticket for a Harry Styles concert from SeatGeek. Got the ticket, showed up at the venue, and was told that my ticket was invalid and I would need to contact SeatGeek about it. I spent half an hour on hold before I talked to a representative that was having trouble even finding my name in their system. When they got it figured out, I was told I'd get a 120% refund. That was over a month ago and I haven't received anything. I've tried calling SeatGeek multiple times only to be on hold for nearly an hour each time. I sent an email, to which the only reply I got was to not send any more emails. I just want my money back.
Look, people make mistakes. Sh! T happens. But when you need help, Kelvin/Telvin with Seat Geek will get you what you need ASAP. I am writing this at 9:51 PM EST. Here's what happened, and here's why this is this was the best experience I've EVER had with customer service.
I made a typo on my email -- my tickets were going to be sent no where. I was so anxious as my event was coming up. I emailed a few days ago, no response. I called today around 8:45 PM EST. Kelvin/Telvin answered and asked what had happened. I explained I made a typo when signing up and the email was wrong, furthermore, that email did not exist, and I needed to change it. He PERSONALLY reached out to the seller and fixed it for us. Gave us a call back at 9:48 PM EST (less than an HOUR later! WOW!) and it was fixed! Our account had the right email and the tickets would be sent the day before! 10/10 Experience! Thank you Kelvin/Telvin!
SeatGeek is a really cool online ticket retailer. My only complaint is that the two tickets I purchased for Tony Bennett are seats 5 & 7. It shouldn't be an issue for me but if I could make a recommendation, I would update ticket options to include "&" sign versus "-" sign. (Ex. Seats 5-7 vs. seats 5&7). I think this would eliminate any confusion for others trying to purchase tickets together. Other than that, the site is great and offers a lot of choices for events and concerts. Keep up the great work!
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team
