I bought 4 tickets for a Savannah Bananas game. The game was rained out after only 2 innings. The team has announced that the game won't be rescheduled. Under the refund policy that's on Seatgeek's website, they "guarantee" that they will refund or credit the purchase price for games that are cancelled and not rescheduled. They refuse to do so, despite the fact that I have provided them with both a screenshot of the announcement on the team's Facebook page and an email from the team's ticket office confirming the cancellation and no reschedule. Seatgeek does not provide the guarantee that it says it does.
Very difficult to find a number to get assistance with. We purchased a ticket to see a concert in Florida. We live in NJ but we were going to be on vacation the week of the concert and thought it would be fun. After we purchased the ticket, the concert was moved ---postponed over a month later. Since we were not going to be in the state, we asked for a refund. Seat Geek does nothing to assist you since the concert was not "cancelled. " just postponed. I will never use this company again For everyone that need their phone number it is *******335
I did not get the tickets that I was promised. We stood outside Coors Field and was told that the original Seller would Not Release the Tickets that I had paid for Months In Advance! Your Rep did come up with other Tickets that were Cheaper than the Ones I had purchased. I have not received my Money Back. Is this the Way You Conduct Business. You stated that You preview and that ALL Sales are Confirmed! Yet You Allowed this Seller to Steal our Tickets and Sell them to another Buyer? So We were told that other Seats were available if that would be alright. Now We had Flown from SC to Denver for the Game only to find out the Seller would not release the original Seats Row 38 1&2 but Now after the Game has started We could get Row 30 5&6 which were in the Sun not under the Cover as the others were. Now Tell me Did You expect Us to MISS the Game because of the Screw-up by the Seller. There is also the difference in the Cost of the Tickets and SeatGeek said Oh You agreed on the other tickets Really What a BS statement. I did everything right and SeatGeek sided with the Seller Pityful!
Update: SeatGeek did ultimately provide a refund to my original form of payment. Having said that, it took a post to Twitter to have them honor their word.
I was shopping for tickets in two cities. Somehow one city was charged to my credit card without me finalizing the purchase. SeatGeek said they would refund to my original form of payment but processed it as a credit for future purchase. They admitted they have it on a recorded line that they offered me a refund to the original form of payment but will not correct the transaction.
This app is a piece of $#*!. The app tells that you can return your tickets when a event is canceled then proceeds to give you a promo code to buy more $#*!ty tickets. Then when you only use half of what the $#*!ing promo code is worth it takes the whole $#*!ing thing away this app $#*!ing sucks.
SeatGeek makes significant misrepresentations on their website. Buyer-Beware! SeatGeek solicits by representations on their website that you can "purchase with confidence, because your purchase is completely refundable through 48 hours before the event". I tried refunding my tickets within 24 hours after purchasing them ($750.08). They refused to refund my purchase. They offered that the best they could do was to allow me a credit towards future purchases that I make on SeatGeek; and the credit was only good for one year. After that, I lose my funds. They are dishonest, they make representations which are untrue.
Plus, SeatGeek's "Fees" are exorbitant. They charged me a $49.52 fee for each ticket ticket (4 tickets), total Fees were $198.08. That is 35.88% of the ticket price on each ticket. The only reason I finalized my purchase was because their website says that I can purchase with confidence, my purchase is totally refundable.
I went onto Evenbrite's website and purchased tickets for seats right next to the seats I had just purchased through SeatGeek, and the total purchase price (all fees included) was $287.52. That is $462.56 less than I paid on SeatGeek. SeatGeek's total price was 162.16% of what I was able to purchase the same tickets on Eventbrite.
I will never purchase tickets through SeatGeek, and neither should you!
Designed to trick you into buying tickets before telling you about 65 percent service fees. I have reported them to the fraud department at my credit card. They have no ethics, conscience or integrity. Don't make the mistake I did.
Purchased a parking pass for the US Open. Website shows 30 minute delivery, received the pass 12 hours later - after the tournament round for the day was over. No way to contact them either (or at least not obvious to me) to work a solution. SeatGeek did respond to me a couple of days later and refunded the purchase - which was great, but really needed the tickets. Anyway - Understand things happen.
SeatGeek promises your tickets will be next to each other. I bought two tickets to Illenium in Denver and the seller sent two separate tickets in entirely different sections. One ticket was the promised section and the other was two levels up in the stands. The listing was a single listing for two tickets in the promised section. Our sections are accessed by two different gates. Who would by two tickets to take their significant other to a concert just to say "see you after the show!". I have tried to get this resolved through SeatGeek's support but I've gotten nowhere. The seller said to send the ticket back and it's been sitting in a sent (but not accepted) state for over a day. I had to make the call to just buy another ticket for myself so that I can be somewhat near my wife at this show. I will never go through SeatGeek again.
I recently had a disappointing experience with SeatGeek's password unlock process, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I needed to purchase tickets for an event that was happening at that very moment, but unfortunately, I couldn't access my SeatGeek account because I had forgotten my password.
Upon realizing my predicament, I immediately reached out to SeatGeek's customer support for assistance. To my dismay, they informed me that it would take approximately two hours to unlock my password and regain access to my account. This was highly inconvenient, as the event I wanted to attend was already underway, and I needed to secure my tickets promptly.
The fact that it would take such a significant amount of time to unlock my password was frustrating and seemed excessive, especially considering the urgency of my request. I understand that security measures are necessary, but I would have expected a more efficient and expedited process, especially from a ticketing platform like SeatGeek.
The lack of immediate access to my account put me in a difficult situation, and I was unable to purchase tickets for the event in a timely manner. This not only resulted in my disappointment but also meant missing out on an experience I was eagerly looking forward to.
While SeatGeek is generally known for its wide selection of tickets and user-friendly interface, this particular incident left me with a negative impression. I believe they should consider implementing a more streamlined process for unlocking passwords or provide alternative methods for urgent situations like mine.
I hope SeatGeek takes customer feedback into consideration and finds ways to improve their password unlock process, ensuring that users can quickly regain access to their accounts in situations where time is of the essence.
Why is the service fee $100+ for 2 tickets? Scam if you ask me. They get ya with cheap tickets, then when you go to checkout the service fee is extremely expensive.
Got tickets to see bad friends for their Jun 1st Tampa show at Dukes. Tickets were sent through ticket master and were so easy to use and redeem. Definitely recommend!
My son purchased 2 tickets to the Justin Bieber concert on March17th
2020 from seat geek $644.48. The concert was postponed several times and finally canceled by Justin Bieber via CNN and other news outlets. Multiple attempts to obtain a refund have failed even after emailing on March 1st 2023 with Gabriella from Seatgeek customer service, who promised a full refund with one to two weeks. Three months have elapsed since then and still no refund!
Do not trust them, they are fraud, they have no idea how to communicate with Ticketmaster so do not try it! I promise. You'll get screwed!
Such an awful experience, couldn't get in touch with anyone, bought tickets and the concert got rescheduled for a year later and no refund option is available only site credit, can't even resell the ticket because they won't give me them until 5 days before the event, absolutely sucks
You have to understand thier return policy before you purchase. Its obvious that you can't return them for a refund of any kind, just a promo code that expires in 1 year. But if you want to re-coop you money, you have to sell the tickets on either thier platform or another. Unfortunately, they sell E-tickets with a revolving QR code, which cannot be resold anywhere. Very shady practice. I would have loved to learn this before spending $740. I will not be purchasing tickets from seat geek, and would happily spend a premium with another platform. Frances D (the live chat support) was very helpful.
Purchase $474.36 tickets to a concert for Row 1 (front row) seating. They sent me $30 lawn tickets. Refused to admit they sent me the wrong tickets even though I have the email receipt that states Row 1 seating. This company is notorious for doing this. Scam all the way everyday.
Don't use seat geek when it comes down to you getting your tickets for your show on your email they will never come you will have a hard time getting through to customer service you will miss your show don't do it Motley crew we were ready to go and we never received our tickets terrible experience, p.s. EVER MADE IT..
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
