SD Bullion screwed up my electronic payment, and when the order still hadn't shipped after 12 days, I called to check on the status, and the person I spoke to told me the original check had bounced. That was an absolute lie! They messed it up. I would recommend that you avoid this company.

I purchased 1 brilliant uncirculated (BU) coin and 4 very good (VG) coins. The "BU" has rim damage, very little original luster, and deep scratches. One of the "VG" coins is cleaned, 2 of them have an outlined design/missing rim details.
Emails asking for assistance were given dismissive responses and a manager on their call hotline was unwilling to even receive pictures of the coins in question.
Apparently, their merchandise is "graded by third party sellers" and they "have no control over the quality of merchandise".

If you are a collector looking for flawless coins I would recommend purchasing graded MS70 or proof editions of the bullion coins. I bought $4000 on gold earlier this year from as bullion and it took forever for it to come. I also had a problem with the cancellation of some silver that I had bought. I did not know until the end of the transaction, that it was really only one coin that was discounted. They threaten to take me to collections, and in the end, I paid them almost $200 and got nothing in return. I asked if I could use it towards the purchase of other products and I was denied. The first phone conversation I was told all fees would be waived, but they continued to send me letters telling me I was going to be sent to collections. I typically spend between 10 and $15,000 a year on precious metals and will be doing business with anyone, but them.

After locking in my price for 800 silver rounds and paying $220.00 shipping not to mention paying more for quicker delivery $30.00 they renigged/ refused the agreement. Said they called me a few times, LIARS… unless my new iPhone 14 plus I just paid $1100 for is lying? NOT Would Not let me speak to a manager. OFFERED me $1600 LESS…. SCAM - ToTALLY…. I ordered silver that was not delivered. When I called I was treated very poorly and rudely by staff. I sent them almost $5500 and its been 25 days and I have received nothing, no help, no resolution just some excuses with their fraud department. I will be contacting the federal trade commission and the consumer financial protection bureau tomorrow to report this as fraud. I have ordered gold/silver many times but not from this company. New customer to SD Bullion. I Placed an order on some 2023 "BU" coins. One came to me with a big flat edge on one side the coin. I contacted for replacement they told me that I can expect the coins to have damage from time to time. Theirs a reason I pay the higher premiums for "BU" coins. Yes they in no way are going to be Proof finish. I understand they will have some scratches here and there. But to buy a new coin and the edge flattened is not ok. Not only did I pay a premium markup but I also will take a loss when/should the time come for me selling it. They did me dirty and no concern for making it right. For that reason I'll NEVER be back.

I bought $100 Face Wash quarters. They mixed 200 fair/good coins with 200 EF/AU coins. When placed in plastic coin tubes there 15 coins short. I called Frank at Cus Service, no help. I will be buying local from here forward.

I went online to purchase from this company. In checking out, I accidentally hit the pay by check instead of the credit card option. Once this happened, I could no longer move forward or backwards in the system. I could not uncheck the option to change it to credit. I backed out of the page and re-ordered the product. Weeks later I got a bill for a cancelled order. I never hit the place order button. Not only that, but the bill that came was for the 35.00 cancellation fee, plus a 47.46 market loss ( silver price barely moved) and a cancellation fee of 47.46. When I tried to contact them about this, they had no interest in being reasonable. This is their policy. Fraud. Do not do business with this company.

So, my wife ordered silver for the kids and when we went to pay, their site would not take my payment. At the time, we were just starting chemo treatments and I didn't have time to follow up on the phone for an hour. About a month later, I get a cancellation bill for $400 and threatening to send it to collections if I didn't pay it. I called and explained the situation. These heartless bastards didn't care. They said pay or it is going to collections. They were not out silver and offered to go through with the order even though the silver is about the same or a bit lower in price. However, they didn't care. Since Biden is rewarding people with low credit scores, told them that they can refer it to a collections agency. They will not get one dime from me as it was their system that would not accept the payment! Don't use these heartless SOBs for your investments! Sad that they are willing to lose customers over a BS $400 fee!

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.
