Saturday ruined kids crying
September 11, 2022

We planned in advance to have our order delivered the 10th between 3 and 6 even called to verify never showed kids bday party which part of the order was for was the 11th so as a result Schwann's negligence ruined the weekend in all. Rude customer service worker very disappointed

Horrible service
October 5, 2022

I had placed an order on 09. 21. 22 to be delivered 09. 26. 22. I took that day off of work. I had to call to find out there wasn't even a truck in my area. My delivery was moved to 10. 05. 22. My Husband took the morning off, and I took the afternoon off. Still no delivery. I was given $25 worth of Schwans credit to use. I can't even get a delivery to my home so I can use the f*ucking credit. Pitiful. My 3 prior orders were similar to this most recent one. Very angry. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I asked for a supervisor several times and was never put in contact with one.

Wonderful food
May 15, 2020

I am very satisfied with Swhains food in taste, texture and tenderness. So far I have had the hamburgers, cheese ravioli's, broccoli florets and broccoli and cheese and the petite Brussels sprouts were Devine. I cooked each to directions and was so happy. I am a totally satisfied customer!
My delivery showed at 8:20 PM but it did not bother me, the driver was curtious and couldn't have asked for any better service. This was my first order but won't be my last, in fact I have 2 Petite Brussel Sprouts going on order now.

As a long time Schwan's customer, I saw a very drastic decline in their service and a big increase in prices. When it turned into Yello, the last 2 orders were screwed up because I instructed them I will use my EBT card for payment, and Schwan's always honored that. But with Yello, both times, they whacked my debit card for the full purchase and left me no option to use the EBT card. Before, the delivery driver would swipe my EBT card at the door. Now, they whack your debit/credit card at the time you order it. So, forget about using EBT with this service any longer. And, on top of that, they totally eliminated delivery in my area so now I have to pay $19.99 for delivery and when you top that off with the overpriced food they now offer, I requested them to cancel and delete my long-term, good standing account with them today. Everything changed with the switchover with Yello, and it certainly was not for the better. Schwan's merger with Yellow was the worst thing they could have done.So sad.

Stay away
January 12, 2023

I ordered some product on Dec.21 I was immediately sent an email saying I would be contacted within 2 days and be notified of my delivery never happened. I finally called a week later, and delivery was set up for Dec 28 On that day it was canceled late in the afternoon and set up for Jan 11 I have repeatedly contacted support and never got any answers. I immediately tried one of the dinners when I finally received my order on Jan 11 I am fairly sure the meat loaf had mode on it and I threw it out

First of all, Schwans was supposed to had been at my residence today between noon at 3pm. So at 130 i call, i am told they will be here by 3. Okay cool. So 330 rolls around, still nothing. I call again, they say you are on the roster, and i can see the driver hasnt made a stop in 20 minutes and apologize for them being late. I left work early to meet with them! They dont care about anyone elses pockets but their own! They dont know where their drivers are? Like what? How do you not know where YOUR vehicles are at on the road running a business like that? You can see the last stop they made and thats it? You cant get ahold of your drivers? I find that somewhat unbelievable!

Terrible deliveries.

I ordered my food on December 15, I was told it wouldn't be delivered till December 30. On December 31 there was no food. I called on January 3rd and spoke with Julie. Julie said that it was on the dock waiting for UPS. She would put in a ticket for review. I should be getting it at the end of the week. On January 9 I called again did not receive the order, spoke to a Julie again, she said she'll put in another ticket and give me points. I told her that my 94-year-old mother ran out of food and I don't live there and I have to do everything online. She said she was sorry I asked for a manager she was the customer service person I got nowhere. Again she said that she will place another ticket to find out where it's at. I asked her should I cancel and put in another order. She said if I put in another order I will get it by January 19. I'm so exhausted from this that it makes me want to cancel the whole order

I just made this schwans gluten free pizza and honestly I'd rather lick a dogs $#*! then take another a bite but I'm gonna take another bite because I'm hungry as $#*! and drunk. Me hangry. But me mad that this pizza is $#*!. $#*! Schwanns.

I got a careless driver who was supposed to charge my EBT card but instead charged my Visa. I know it was in his notes CUSTOMER WILL BE PAYING WITH EBT but he couldnt be bothered to check. The icing on the cake is i didnt even get two of the items i was wrongfully charged for. I didnt notice until after he'd already left. Ive tried calling about these issues but cant get a call back. Was told id hear something in one or two days. Its been 20 days! No email either. What an awful company.

We used to love ordering from Schwan's years ago. The food quality and service has gone down significantly. Three out of three orders we have had issues. The first order the date was moved from Monday (I had someone waiting for it) to Friday with no notifications. I only found out by going onto the app and seeing the change in date. The second order I received an email I had cancelled my order. I had not. Called in and apparently they didn't have a driver available but did ship it in dry ice which was nice. Now we are to the third delivery which was scheduled for 6/5/23. It was changed to 6/19/23 with no explanation. I called to complain and they offered to ship it at no charge with 6/6/23 delivery. I checked the app later and the one product that had kept me coming back was no longer on the order. I called and it was added back. Two charges are still pending but I just looked and my favorite item is gone again. I don't plan on ordering again even though I really like their omelettes and double chocolate bars.

SERVICE SUCKS!

SERVICE SUCKS! – Good Food, but Delivery Date & Time is TOTALLY UNRELIABLE! Original delivery date was 2/1/2021. I received a text with a 2-hour (3:23 PM-5:23 PM) window today, 2/6/2021. Then I receive an e-mail that I have been "rescheduled" to a date 9 DAYS LATER on 2/15/2021! This would be the SECOND RESCHEDULING for an order placed January 5th, 2021.

I have bought from Schwans a long time, I am very disappointed that you
Do no longer carry #574 Jumbo Tail-off Shrimp, and no fettuccini or marinara sauce
No won-ton soup that goes so well with the orange chicken etc. What has happened? We like the food and we are so so disappointed! The won ton soup was delecious. Should I stop buying from Schwans?

I was a loyal customer with Schwan's years ago and loved their products. I'm no longer in a delivery area, but have had good luck with UPS shipping of other food products, so tried Schwan's again. First, I could not place an order because my account was "flagged" for suspected fraudulent activity. No idea why as my cc information was accurate and there was NO problem with my bank. But no order could go through, or so I was told. Went through several "representatives" and all they could tell me was that they could do nothing until there was an investigation. I was never contacted or informed about the status of the supposed investigation. Weeks later, I find a charge on my bank for an order which I never received. Tried an online chat. The person could not help me -- after nearly half an hour of waiting -- because (Guess!) account had been flagged. I requested a supervisor. Was told that my "request" had been placed and someone would call me within 48 hours. Despite the fact that I always enjoyed Schwan's products, I will never again order from them. Customer service is so bad it's almost funny. And if I don't receive a refund from them for the order charged but never delivered, and quickly, I'll be placing negative reviews everywhere I possibly can. There's no excuse for this BS.

Not worth the price

The service used to be decent, however over the last few years they have changed their delivery model. On top of their already super expensive food, they now do not have a universal day they show up so instead of it being every Monday every other week they show up whenever the hell they want. And on top of that if you now choose to buy food off them without ordering it online they will charge a fee just for buying food off them despite the fact that they're going to show up regardless if you ordered something or not. And then if you go online to order it, they have almost tripled the price of the delivery charge for ordering online, (at the time of this writing is now $3.99 per order up from $1.75) from the last time that we ordered. And also now has days that you have to ship through UPS instead of using their vendor, and if you choose that option it's $20 for a delivery charge alone. The service is overall not worth what it provides anymore and anyone who is using the service is just wasting their money.

NO MORE PRINTED CATALOGG?

Since Schwans can no longer afford to supply catalogs, need to order online, how will they keep customers that do not own or unable to use a computer, Seems that they will lose many customers, Poor decisions.

Beware of schwan's Loveland Colorado not to mention anybody in their customer service they will not call you back you can be disabled vet you could be hurt their driver can sexually assault your wife GRAB INAPPROPRIATELY and they don't care they are the worst company in the world caution Richard out of Loveland Colorado is a poor poor supervisor anybody in this corporation that reads this you should have your driver arrested and Richard Loveland Colorado with him for condoning this behavior!@

We used to buy a lot of Schwans through the 80s and 90s when my kids lived at home. We loved the ice cream and frozen treats, mini pizzas, shrimp and more. Recently I bought some items from the driver who delivers to my workplace (a housing community). I got ice cream cones ("drumsticks"). The cones were soft and chewy and the ice cream was all gummy where you peeled away the paper. The first time it was a substitute driver and he explained that if I opened an account I would save on delivery fees so I said ok. When I got the 2nd order I hadn't pre-ordered; the regular driver just stopped by the office because he had my name in his system as a customer. The item was $16.99 in the catalog and my card was charged $22.45. $5.46 in "taxes and fees"? If the product had been good I wouldn't mind. I get a different brand at the dollar store near my house and the cones are crispy and the ice cream is smooth.

We enjoyed the food we received. Food arrives quickly and still frozen-even the ice cream. We have not experienced any problems with service. I don't know why they are changing their name though…?

Best bread ever!

It's been a long time since I ordered from Schwans' but recently I tried them again and boy was I presently surprised. I bought the multigrain loaf of bread and it's the best I've ever had and I'm very particular about my bread I give it 5 stars!
