I got a TAB A at the beginning of December, and discovered that it was defective and could not connect to any type of wifi after only 5 weeks. I contacted the seller, who directed me to Samsung, and it seemed reasonable enough. After a few troubleshooting tips, the rep said that they would have to exchange or refund my purchase, and again, I was fine with all of this, as no matter what you buy, there will be a warranty issue once in a while. They needed the original receipt, but thanks to covid 19 I had trouble getting for almost a month. Once I got it though, everything was fine. For the next 5 months, I called once a week, and asked for a refund, or an exchange. The person would direct me to the SAME WRONG PERSON EVERY SINGLE TIME! The Cellular version of the Tab A! EVERY TIME! They in turn, would direct me to the non cellular Tab A person... Then I would sit on hold for anywhere between 45 minutes, all the way up to four hours, before being instantly disconnected! Yes, I know, sounds crazy, but it's actually true... I learned to fill my wait times with other daily activities so I wouldn't go crazy. In the end, I finally got a REAL PERSON! And they ACTUALLY HELPED! It almost put me into shock! Then it was only a quick TWO MONTHS until I got my actual refund check in the mail... by then, it felt like a breeze! (I'll never buy another Samsung product again, I don't care what it is, or what the price, they've lost me for life!)

Buyer beware
June 29, 2020

I bought an A20 2 months ago, and out of nowhere the motherboard goes bad. Not only did I loose everything from the last 2 months (I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old and take tons of pictures) but they have been a nightmare to deal with. First they send me 20 minutes from home to a repair store of theirs to be told the motherboard is bad and the phone is junk. Next they make me mail it in so they can look at it again. After a week with no phone, they tell me it will cost me $180 to fix a phone I bought BRAND NEW 2 months ago for $150. They said there was water damage and that's why the motherboard went bad. I took amazing care of that phone and I know for a fact that it was never exposed to water in any way. Just them getting out of their warranty. I've never had anything but problems with Samsung. $700 dollar tv lasted less then 2 years and the only other phone I've had in my life suddenly stop working was Samsung (that one amazingly made it a year). They will not stand behind their product AT ALL. They even make it super difficult to leave a review on their website. Companies with good products don't do that. I wish you luck if your planning on buying a Samsung, but be prepared for great disappointment and trouble.

When I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 in November I purchased Samsung Care too - it cost $249.

From the website:
Samsung Care+ is a device swap program that you can purchase for your new eligible Samsung device. With a two year subscription, you can swap your eligible device twice within the 2 year period. Just pay the swap fee ($129) for each swap request and we'll swap it.

As my phone broke I needed to use this service, but when they swapped it, they swapped it for a dud.

They say the only thing I can do is take it into a service centre which means I will not have a phone for three days. That's three days I won't have access to my public transport passes, my banking, or contact with my family - I will also not be contactable by my employer (particularly relevant as we're not able to go into the office due to COVID19) or my daughter's daycare if she is ill or injured.

I feel like they're making me jump through hoops in hopes they won't have to fix the problem. I'm particularly upset that I'm being penalised for their screw up.

Realistically I'm going to have to put up with this problem because I cannot go without a phone for three days as annoying as the problems with the phone are. They win, but as a loyal Samsung user for nine years I will not be purchasing another one of their phones.

I had recently purchased a Samsung television from Target and for about three months it worked fine. Then, for no apparent reason, the video stopped working. I could hear the audio, so I knew the TV still worked. I then preceded to call Samsung customer service. After speaking to them they let me know they would someone out to fix it the next day.
Not even a minute later, they correct themselves. They tell me that I did not buy a big enough television for them to send someone out and instead I will have to mail it off. I speak with a manager and they tell me that is all they can do.
I wait for the label to be emailed. This took about five days. Once I print that out, I head to the UPS store. As I am trying to mail it off, I find out that they are not paying for shipping materials. They force me paid another $20 for shipping supplies. Fast-forward a week and I get an email that informs me that the repairs will cost $155. Obviously, I called them and the television's screen is broken which is not covered under warranty. I tell them that the television was in fine condition when I mailed it. UPS dropped and broke the TV! They say they will investigate it and eventually agree that UPS broke the television during delivery. They finally fix the television and sent it back to me. This process took longer then two months! Two months to fix a simple problem!
This whole experience combined with the faulty products they sell has convinced me of what a terrible company Samsung truly is. I do not plan to purchase any more of their products in the future and I highly recommend no one else does either.

I've already used two mobile phones of this company. And I want to say that I find them the best. They are very convenient in use and the sound is cool.

We bought a counter depth dual zone refrigerator 6 years ago and have now had 2 major repairs due to ice build up. When you call customer service they are next to useless. They couldn't find a technician to help us even though we live in the Balt: DC area. The refrigerator continues to ice up due to a poor design and if you do wait for a call back (hold times are over an hour) they act like they have never heard of the issue. So tonight we are thawing it out again with towels all over the floor waiting for the non certified repair person to buy us another few years before it fails once again

I'm a plumber installing a Samsung dishwasher for my customer that she bought for her home renovation. Well the kick plate didn't come with it. Her home was getting renovated so the Dishwasher sat in her hallway for a month. When I opened the box, there was no kick plate. Called Samsung and they refused to send me one, even with a receipt showing purchase. So now she has to spend $40 on a kick plate because Samsung screwed up. I even talked to a supervisor and they still refused to send me one. I will/she will never buy anything from you guys again. I know a lot of people & will share this experience with them. Absolutely ridiculous & unfair that she has to spend another $40 on top of the $400 she spent for the dishwasher. Absolutely ridiculous.

Samsung S20 Plus
May 21, 2020

What a poop show. Samsung doesn't price match the things you buy. No they issue out a "refund." Talk about an inability to count money and false promises. I've been a galaxy fan all my life. Never could I have ever predicted that this is how it would turn out. I am beyond upset that they would go so far. I ordered a phone and it never made it to me. Turns out they returned it back to the shipper. Rather than sending it out again like normal human beings, they told me I have to reorder the whole product from scratch. None of the codes I used before worked (obviously as they are one time codes) and so there was about a 152 dollar price difference. After talking with customer service about various things I now have to wait for a 97.70 cent refund. I had to order it again anyways and they said when it ships out they will be able to do a price difference for me when I call back. What a load of bs. I'm sorry but really? So now I have 2, one thousand + dollar charges to my bank account.

Seriously unless you can go into the store or be in person, I would reconsider buying directly from Samsung, go to best buy if you are a die hard fan of the phones like me. I would NOT recommend buying directly from Samsung. But Galaxys are my favorite. It's like meeting your favorite celebrity and then realizing they are a butface.

Update: There is a delay in my order now! So nice. I am so over this whole company.

They suck!
May 11, 2020

They have had my granddaughters phone for over a month cause their last update crashed it. As of today with being on hold for over an hour, they have no updates as to when her replacement will be shipped. Asked to speak with a supervisor... surprise, there wasn't any. What the #$^?

We had a Samsung dishwasher. No removable filter. Loud, but the worst was it had a serious malfunction at 6 months of age. The dishwasher kept draining and draining and draining. We googled it and it was a very common problem and very expensive to fix. We bought replacement Bosch dishwasher. Here we are 6 months later and we're having problem with Samsung refrigerator. It freezes everything that touches the back wall. There is constantly pooling water which freezes under the deli drawer rendering it difficult to open. The ice maker has never worked from day one, but we don't use ice. Samsung makes good cellphones, but I wouldn't recommend their appliances at all. Warranty is worthless. Good luck.

Always good company! What I expected: GSM and tablet.
Clean design and adequate storage.
But error in the description there is no way to put a micro-sd in addition.
Otherwise, it is perfect.
Thank you.

Samsung smart tv
May 1, 2020

Just got a Samsung smart tv last night and got it set up. I took about 2 seconds to realize that it was a mistake. The picture quality is that of something from 1970. My suggestion to others is don't waste your money.

Junk
April 13, 2020

I have had nothing but problems with my washer and dryer. Spent way to much money and this junk. Then dishwasher goes out! Leaking water and waterwheel breaking. Their TV and blue rays suck as well. How do they stay in business? It blows my mind.

Samsung appliances
March 13, 2020

2018 I purchased a Samsung appliance package. Appliance delivery was July 2018. November 2019 my ice make quit working. Assumed frozen up so reading directions it said to remove ice maker front. Myself and 2 other adults could not get it removed even after defrosting. January 2019 my microwave just quit for no reason. Called Samsung and of course warranty ran out so I was going to be out of pocket for service call and repair. On fixed income so I cannot afford. I'm 72 and have only owned 2 homes with Kenmore appliances and never in almost 50 years have had a service call. Never buy Samsung.

My son bought a VR headset in December 2019. The headset did not work so he sent it back to be repaired. It is now March and he has called several times (~8) and every person we talk to says it's another department and transfers us. At this point he just wants a refund but again, we keep being told that's another department and transferred. This is an extremely unethical company that will give you the run around until you give up and keep your money and merchandise. We will not ever be buying a Samsung product again.

Very disappointed
March 2, 2020

Samsung refrigerator Model RF263BEAESG is a real piece of junk. We have had the repair man here 3 times to fix ice maker. Keeps freezing up. Replaced cracked box... then came back and replaced whole unit... still freezing up. Repair man says nothing they can do now, its a manufactures problem. We took extended warranty, hope to get some of it back so I can buy a new refrigerator.
