Absolute WORST customer service ever! 3 months after receiving my Samsung A70 it wouldn't charge so I called the Samsung call center. They sent a Fedex shipping label, I boxed it up and sent it off. Long story short, it was lost. Fedex has confirmation that it was received and signed for but Samsung is taking no responsibility. Countless hours on the phone with them (minimum of 4 hrs and at least 4-5 people each time I called) and NO resolution. Last I talked to them they were initiating a lost or stolen item claim since they initiated the shipping. Today I received an email stating they were cancelling my service request since the phone was not received. Bottom line - they set up shipping and sent the shipping label, Fedex has prove that it was delivered and signed for, Samsung is doing nothing and refuses to take responsibility or to provide any type of customer support! It's now been 4 months and I've given up hope of any resolution. Samsung will NEVER have my business again and I will strongly advocate that NO ONE purchase any of their products. It's just not worth it!
6 months into owning this TV, I am frustrated daily with using it and finally need to tell you to be worried
1) the TV needs to be unplugged every day before using it, as the apps are frozen/locked
2) the remote keys and function depends on what App you are using.
I own the 55" for the living room and love it and have never had a problem which is why I bought the 43 for the bedroom. But it has SUCKed since day 1.
Ok to start i purchased a samsung A70 which i regret more then anything on December 29th 2019.
I had the phone 3 months and it over heated on me a few times (to the point where the phone was to hot to even touch)
I sent my phone to samsung to be repaired and it took a month before I got it back.
After having used the phone for a month i realized that not only did the overheating still occur but now it has connectivity issues. So once again I sent the phone in for reposar and at this point it was the end of May.
Samsung did not reply to me and some third party company sent me an email stating that there is no issue with my phone but that they will up grade it to a samsung S10.
Sounds great right!
Wrong!
All they want was for me to reply to the text saying yes and what I really would of received was a refurbished samsung S10E.
Why is this a problem?
Well my phone clearly had issues and they deemed it to be in full working order. What makes them think that i trust their refurbished phone.
I then contacted samsung and have many emails stating that they are clearly offering a "New Samsung S10" but once again I have been lied to as that was not what they were sending me.
It is now September 5th and I haven't seen my phone since the end of May.
(I have owned the phone for 8 months yet is only been in my possession for 3 and a half months)
Having said all this please anyone thinking about buying a samsung maybe think twice.
And
Is there any accountability or legal issues with having documented emails promising me a new phone. I would like to take this further if anyone can help. The case does go a little deeper then just this but if anyone is interested I will be happier to share all the information
I consider Samsung to be one of the oldest and most successful brands ever. We bought a Samsung Washers recently and it was a really energy-efficient, long life of the device, several price points. Also, let me tell you some bad stuff about Samsung and that's a really short return period and some items may be costly.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is basically the best smartphone even though there are other models made by Samsung but this particular model suits and meet my need. Great job
We bought a Samsung Galaxy Active 2 in Dec 2019 and by May of 2020 it completely stopped working. I first attempted to find the information I needed to send the watch for warranty repair through chat. The woman at "customer service" immediately told me that they do not repair a watch that we have signs of physical damage. I told her the watch had no physical damage at all; then she moved to say that we caused water damage. I told her that we didn't and that the watch is supposed to be 50M water resistant and we have not submerged it in even 6 inches of water. She insisted and would not give me the information to return the watch. I had to be borderline rude and told her to stop putting words in my mouth that I never said and to give me the information I was looking for. After much waiting time and run around trying to get a hold of somebody that could honor the warranty, we finally sent the watch over only to receive an email saying that the watch has water damage so our warranty was voided and we would have to pay $241 to repair it. The watch, which is supposed to be water resistant to 50M, was never submerged in the water. We called, received more run around, and finally talk to somebody and told them it was impossible for us to have caused the damaged and perhaps it is a manufacturing flaw. After a short 2 minutes hold for them to think it over, they said..."either pay to repair it or we will send it back to you with a voided warranty." I give them ZERO stars... their customer service is awful, they refuse to honor warranties, the waiting time is ridiculous, we got cut off around 5 times before we could finally get through, the RSI department is incompetent or have been trained to lie and try to make their customers pay for the repair and never actually spoke with us but only left notes and sent messages to other representatives. I was going to get the new Galaxy watch for me and the new Note20 but I have completely changed my mind. I wasted $400 on a piece of crap watch and would not waste another penny in ANY Samsung product.
Face recognition is useless and even the finger print unlocking take over one second to unlock the phone.
That is still bearable to be honest given the cheap price but why shove useless apps and make me uninstall them again and again after every OS update? You are making money from app providers but do you realise you have convinced me not to buy a Samsung phone due to this greed of your. You are just making people's life difficult by pushing these useless apps on your phone.
No wonder your market share is going down.
I love Samsung phones, because they know how to make a phone beautiful and attractive. I can't say the same about all the other brands. If you want something sleek and admirable, it's Samsung you will likely want
Bought 2 Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G phones directly from Samsung. They were running a trade-in allowance of $300.00 on each Samsung Galaxy S7. The trade-ins had to meet their requirements -worked, no broken screen, no bad pixels. They gave an up-front $300 discount off list price of $1,350+. If the trade-in didn't pass inspection, they would charge you back for the up-front $300. One of my phones passed and the other failed due to a cracked rear camera lens cover - $5.00 Samsung part that would cost $35 to install. I talked to customer service and offered to have the phone repaired. They agreed and said they would return the phone to me, I would have to return the new phone to them and then I would purchase a new phone and trade -in my repaired Galaxy S7. They gave that all to me in writing in emails. In a period of 2 1/2 days, they lowered the trade-in value of my old phone from $300 to $55. They wouldn't honor their offer that I followed to the letter. Their Customer Service rep was in the Philippines and couldn't have cared less. She said "We reserve the right to change special offers at any time." My thought was that I have the right to NOT spend my money with companies who do not honor their employees words.
I have contacted Samsung on multiple occasions to receive a refund for a defective dryer. Rather than tending to the issue, they have given me and my Research Assistant the run around. I have talked to multiple departments, send numerous emails with proof of the defective dryer and repairs that were made, and every phone call there has been an excuse as to why they cannot resolve this issue. I have been hung up on, ignored, and disrespected by the customer support team. This has been a horrible experience and I will not be buying anything from Samsung ever again.
My Galaxy S8 has been working well for almost a year now. The accuracy of the picture is top-notch and has a fantastic gaming experience. I used other phone brands but none of them beats the Samsung Galaxy series to me.
If anything goes wrong with your Samsung product, even if you have an extended warranty, getting someone to come repair it will cost you time on the phone with Home Depot, Samsung and the Samsung service provider in your area. Trying to schedule a repair was a nightmare. I bought a Samsung dishwasher online at the Home Depot and the extended warranty. The dishwasher failed to dry the dishes and it left a moldy smell after a few days. To get the dishwasher replaced was not an option. It had to be repaired. Cyber World Electronics was the company that was selected by Samsung to repair the dishwasher. Cyber World Electronics schedules your service. You have no say in the day or time they pick for the appliance repair. The first time service was scheduled, we couldn't be home because we had to work. The technicians arrived as we were leaving for work. They couldn't reschedule for us. Trying to call to reschedule was impossible. We had to call Samsung to start the rescheduling process all over again. It delayed the repair 2 weeks. I have been on the phone all morning trying talk to a scheduler because we have another conflict the the time they scheduled for the repair. You cannot get ahold of Cyber World Electronics. If you leave a message, they don't call you back! You are at the mercy of their scheduler. If you have to work during the day, you are out of luck. I will never purchase a Samsung appliance online at The Home Depot again. You are better off going to a local appliance store. They will not doubt give you better customer service!
I bought 2 tvs from samsung for my home and the picture quality is outstanding! I would definitely buy them again.
All my cell phones were Samsung. I'm used to their screen with super-clear images and rich colors. I like it only.
Purchased a Samsung 65" curve tv December 24 2018. The tv sat in all its original packaging (unopened) until beginning of June 2020. Had moved to a new house September 2018 and left it in a spare bedroom until ready to set up. Only 1 month of use and it already is broken. Shadow line down the middle of the screen. Called to get the issue resolved and was told due to the 1 year warranty being expired there's nothing they can do. They would send out a tech to fix it but we would still have to pay. Now I completely understand the whole warranty issue (if the tv was used since purchased) but if Samsung truly stands by their products they should have offered some type of help. This wasnt a simple case of a $200 tv. This was a $1500 tv that lasted 1 Month of use (perhaps an hour or two a day) I have an insignia tv that has last 8+ years and is still going. So buyer beware!
Hi
M writing with my utmost disappointment with Samsung.
Being a very loyal Samsung user for years, I have to say the treatment I am getting from Samsung is least expected.
We purchased a Samsung refrigerator in March 2015. It has not been working for almost 4 days. We have made numerous complaints to Samsung to fix the problem. Once the engineer came and said "the fridge can't be repaired due to internal leakage and since its not in warranty, it a SCRAP".
Last year too the fridge stopped cooling and the engineer repaired and took Rs *******. The quality is highly pathetic.
On contacting via mail to the customer care again, I am extremely disappointed to get the "supposedly" best solution to my above query. Vouchers worth 35% for a non functional Samsung fridge withing 5 years of purchase. Unfortunately, I will have to seek legal help or resort to other ways of getting an amicable reasonable solution.
Still waiting for your immediate intervention and solution.
I regret being an Samsung loyalist. Wish I had never purchased SAMSUNG products and faced such an issue which apparently Samsung has no solution for.
Thanks
Deepanjali
I'm reading about the water resistant tips and claims, yet my watch was never submerged in water to the extent that was written here and it stopped working and is considered out of warranty. The claims from Samsung are not consistent with what actually happens if your watch gets wet!
Their Claims:
No matter what nature throws at you - whether it's rain or puddles - your watch will be perfectly fine. That's because many Samsung smart watches and fitness bands are water resistant. In other words, you can keep track of your workout when it's raining, or even underwater! Note: Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch. Watches may not perform in all extreme conditions. Water resistance tips for your Samsung smart watch Even though your watch is water resistant, please remember that it's not indestructible. Make sure you follow these tips carefully to prevent any potential damage: Whenever your watch gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. Do not expose the watch to water at high pressure levels. After using the watch in seawater, rinse it in fresh water and dry it. Failure to do this as instructed may cause the watch to suffer from operability or cosmetic issues. If the watch is dropped or receives hard impact, the water resistant features may be damaged. Avoid excessive, sudden temperature changes and high velocity activities. Falls and shocks may weaken the structural integrity of the watch. The watch is not intended for scuba diving. The Galaxy Fit, Gear S3, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2 can stay under 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Galaxy Fit, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 Pro, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2 have all passed military specification (MIL-STD-810G) testing against specific conditions, including drops from 4.9 feet, extreme temperatures, dust, shock and vibration, and low pressure and high altitude.
They Lie! I had to pay 200.25 to have my watch fixed!
I called Samsung about a damaged device. I was on the phone with a female rep for an hour and completely explained my problem with the phone. The rep told me that the phone is under warranty and there would be no charge to fix it... it would take about a week. She sent me an email to print the shipping label and I mailed the phone to the service center. A week goes and I get a email saying that the price is being changed from free to $150.46. I called Samsung to find out why and am now being told that the problem is not covered, that the 1st rep gave me the wrong information, and that if I want the phone fixed that I would have to pay $150.46. This is unprofessional! BAIT & SWITCH tactics to charge unsuspecting customers and piss poor service. I talked to customer service and 2 supervisors who apologized but did nothing. Bottom line... pay. DO NOT EVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT OF ANY TYPE. I know I will never buy their products again.
WE've got their fridge (family hub koelkast) at home. Mom says it works good, there is enough place for everything. And the price, it's a little bet high.
Samsung Smart TV has extremely poor quality in particular it drops the HDMI input signal! Thousands of poor reviews and no solutions/fixes to loss of hdmi signal! Customers typically view sporting events on large screen tvs... Imagine losing a signal while watching the superbowl and a room full of people and the signal drops for 10 minutes!
Answer: Yes it works you need an alexa device to hook it to your alexa tv they have to pair each other, download the alexa app...
Answer: I chose Samsung directly so that my phone was unlocked from cellphone carriers. Also, TD bank offers generous credit limits, and Samsung offers several payment options. Samsung offers service trial subscriptions with its phones... Spotify, Sirius XM, Light room, Cloud Storage, YouTube TV, etc.
Answer: Good luck on your problem. I haven't had any luck with my 8 month problem with them
Answer: They are out of the country and could not care less about customer service
Answer: Yes! You never get what you ordered from them!
