I tried to buy a dryer online at sams club. What a horrible experience. The app kept giving me a cant deliver in your area message even though we are right by a sams club and used multiple addresses that we have had deliveries from them to those addresses so we chatted with customer support. They tried to fix it and couldn't so told us to call the Walmart support and go to sams through them(corporate support). They told us the issue is parcel doesn't deliver in our area because of COVID. Since i know deliveries are happening every day in my area and I deal with freight plus this was a dryer not a parcel I knew this wasn't correct but the person also said they had product at store. I didn't believe this was true but thought maybe they were in the back of the club so I hung up and called the store. They said they do not stock them and they are online only. I called customer service back and they tried and this person (3rd) tried but could get it ordered either and said they would open a ticket with tech support and I would hear back in 48-72 hrs. 6 days later NOTHING. No call no email. Ridiculous! Yes I bought a dryer somewhere else. The first and last person i talked to tried but couldn't resolve my issue. The other just wanted to get us off the phone. They had no clue. With that said about 2hrs wasted of my time and much frustration.
The woman at the door Dolores she is very rude don't let me stay inside the store to wait for 15 minutes that I have to wait till 10 am because my card is no premium
Since the local Sam's Club was closed we have no choice but to order online and pay the much higher membership price to have items delivered 3 hours round-trip away! This has been a horrible and disappointing experience and I will not, under any circumstance renew Sam's again.
I have accolades with our local Costco, but they do not carry many items I purchase at Sam's Club.
Well. It has been a total nightmare trying to accomplish online shopping. Most of what is needed is only in the store or not even available. I can agree with the low, low ratings with the other reviews. Many people in our area really patronized our local Sam's and it was always busy. Rumor had it that they did not like the grocery competition with the Walmarts in our area. First of all, Sam's is hardly a grocery-like store overall! They sure left many, many people in a lurch who actually really patronized this Sam's Club in AZ. We feel like we are being punished no matter how much we want to patronize Sam's. Most of the items online are not available for delivery or not available at all.
Costco does not even come close to not having items. Their establishment is Always Well-stocked overall. Accolades to Costco for running their show so well. I will not even begin to consider renewing my Sam's membership when it expires. They are not treating their long-time customers in a good way. WHAT A SHAME. It has become so Stressful to even log on to their site anymore.
Horrible! Also if Sams wants to make this review system more authentic, they should consider adding minus stars as an option. I was transferred to several reps. None of which seemed to have the same information. I just wanted to add a family member to my membership, and credit card. I was transferred back and forth between member services and the credit card company three times before the call dropped. Then I called back and was told I had to wait until the next day before they could help me. Seriously thinking of switching to Costco
I made a mistake on my order of an expensive item. I contacted them within an hour to cancel the order. There was no button online to cancel; the instructions both at their automated call-in phone and at the help center were wrong. The representatives (even their supervisor) would not cancel the order. I contacted them at the chat to complain; was told to put in an email. The email allowed only a few hundred words and the response? "Check with the help center". Within 24 hours they shipped an item that I will have to ship back AND since the item was to be a present for a special occasion, I now have no gift to give. Never again.
They can charge my credit card but are unable to process a credit to the same credit card for cancellation. DO NOT sign up for auto renewal! The only options are to 1) visit a store. Hmmm, I am cancelling because I have moved and am no longer near a store so, not an option. 2) they will send you a gift card to Sam's Club (again, one is not near me) or Walmart. Lamest customer service!
Recently I ordered a flat screen 4K t. V. and some organic agave nectar. The agave exploded in the box. One bottle was completely empty others were leaking. The box dripped! These were delivered by fedex but I feel they were not packed well by Sam's! I felt bad for the fedex driver!
I ordered the t. V. for a gift. On the order they said it would take a couple weeks,. Now it will be another 10 days. To late for a gift. They are unresponsive by text or phone. They have no control when items are delivered. Why do they give you a delivery date before placing the order? They are not fulfilling their contract. YUK messy! I have found there are better places to order from. Sam's isn't saving me anything.
Dont join their plus membership unless you spend min. 100 dollars a week there. It is a total scam for the common shopper. They had a promo and conned us into upgrading to plus. We lost a 45 dollar gift card and ended up paying 55 dollars for the plus membership. Had we stuck with basic membership we would have had a free year membership
I went to Sams as usual, shopped got my groceries and went to the lane as usual. The guy said "didnt you know we do not load or unload your groceries anymore" I said "were you going to hang a sign" he said he didn't know it was a recent change. I would not have gone there tonight as it was just me and my 2 year old grandson. But as I already shopped I started unloading, it takes everything in me to load in cart then car, now I have to lift the heavy two additional times as they won't even do the juice or water on the bottom. I get change but warning in the way into the store would of been nice. So Costco seems more handicap friendly at this point.
Just like Walmart, absolutely disgusting customer service and management. I ordered hundreds of dollars of food for pickup, only to be advised at pickup time that most of my order was out of stock. Stuff was listed as in stock, like brisket and meat. Call and get jerked off for hours just to get the honor of speaking with someone, who canceled the order. Now I have to wait for days to get my money from the card company to order food elsewhere. No option to cancel online. That's right, NO OPTION TO CANCEL ONLINE. You are at their mercy. Can't change an order or add to it either before pickup time has been scheduled. Don't like it? The only other option is don't pick it up, then they will automatically cancel after 2 days. Then the wait begins to access the money you paid after after the hold is removed. Imbeciles at Sam's don't do it like others who verify the card with a $1.00 charge, then charge the full amount when picked up. Walmart and Sam's will always be run incompetently because of liberal imbecile middle and upper management. Then they blame the employees, who are under paid. Classic scum bags.
I got email as6for survey with prize up to $90 dollars. Did the review and paid $4.95 for shipping for crean then got billed twice for 95 for the auto shipping of the cream read it ALL CAREFULLY and did not see auto shipping. BE AWARE
Over the last 12 to 18 months Sam's Club has been squeezing it's customers, a bit at a time. Fewer hours, increasing club membership by more than 100% in my case. I "had" a business membership, which no longer exists. To get the same benefits the annual cost went from about $50/year to more than $100/year. Selection and product choices are disappearing, parking is now a nightmare as the clubs cater to the curbside service customers leaving the majority out in the cold, literally. My local club is now in the process of "remodeling"-- AGAIN-- which means finding products is a nightmare. Like so many other corps they insist on fixing things that aren't broken.
This business has deceptive practices they tell you that you need to be a member to see the benefit you get and the price you get you become a member and it tells you that upgrade to a more expensive membership when I call to get my money back they transfer they don't even have a cancellation directions you have to go from the chat line to the phone line and then they transfer you to someone else they left me on for an hour listening to crap music and then but when I tell the woman what I want she hangs up on me the customer service is horrible that company is a scam
Last year, Sam's offered an upgrade from my standard card to a Plus membership for a dollar, so I said yes. Today I tried to renew it back to a standard card and they said,"Oh, we can't do that because we wouldn't know if it was someone else trying to use your account". This is a lie because they will let you upgrade without going in. Don't go to Sam's club.
My husband & I both bought a set of new tires Jan. Of 2020. I had a tire problem in July of 2020. The gal at the register told me they were closed. (It was 5:30 on a Sat.). She told me I'd have to come back Monday after 10 am. When I got there, they repaired my tire however they said "they would fix my tire" but they weren't technically open for business. What does that even mean? They could repair it but not rotate them. Today 7/27 I inquired about new tires for another car. I had to present my Sam's card before I could get a tire quote, which seems kind of ridiculous. They could sell me tires, but they couldn't actually put them on my vehicle. Yes, we're in a Pandemic, yes things are not normal. But, if we can jump through all the hoops of masking up, putting gloves on and slathering ourselves in hand sanitizer, why for the love of Pete can we get no tire service. I just don't understand. The gal at the counter acted very put out by my presence. It was like we are here but we're not here. I'm not impressed with their lack of information to customers. Get your tires at Costco.
I am quite spoiled by the free shipping thanks to my upgraded membership. I usually buy my normal household staples this way so I am not having to go to the store repeatedly. I am usually happy with the items I purchase and if not I return them to the store with no hassle. Shipping times can vary greatly depending on the item but they let you know if things are running late. I did have an incident in the beginning of the pandemic where my items were charged and never received, their shipping info said they were at Fed Ex but never got here. After 1 call they refunded me and apologized so I'm fine with that, that was the only time that happened. I have ordered mattresses, rugs, non perishable groceries
Sams club recently instituted a scam and basically a price gouge of plus members get to shop at 9 instead of 10... this has nothing to do with CoVid 19 but instead a way to sucker customers into a plus membership. I had your card for 6 years and I am going to Costco. At least they don't lie about things!
I placed a pick-up order so that I did not have to go into the store during COVID since the store does not REQUIRE masks(Port Charlotte, FL). Ate some of my #JackLinks Jerky that I bought and did not feel good. Next morning husband is eating it and begins to pull out large pieces covered in MOLD! Expires Nov 2021. I called the store to get a refund, I was put on hold 4 different times for a total of 20Min 38Sec. My last attempt to speak to someone ended that I MUST go into their store to get a refund. I explained my desire to not be in the store and why, and asked if I could send them pictures of the product and they could just credit me. They said they could not help me. No Returns if you are not in the store. Order# *******475. Terrible customer service! However - #JackLinks is the best! They resolved my issue since Sam's Club would not. I was able to place a free order on their site to replace the product. I was able to do this safely from my home. I LOVE #JackLinks!
The single worst online company for customer service returns ever! I shipped back a marble table that they cleared for return and pickup for the return over a month ago. The table has been received weeks ago. I have been calling the 800 number every single day spending hours a day trying to get my refund put back to my credit card for 550.00 to no avail you are calling the Philippines speaking to incompetent people who hang up on you or apologize for not being able to execute the refund. Most recently they claim the refund was put back on my card but it wasn't and I had the chase bank speak to them with me to confirm no credit was put back for over 2 years by sams club. They refuse to do a Manual override for the refund, keeping the product and my money. I have spent hours and hours a day trying to get one single competent supervisor on the call to fix this issue. They took my money and the product! I never ever got refunded. I have recorded conversations, receipts, emails to verify every single word of this note! Order *******230 marble table owed 546.40. Over a month now no resolution despite my credit card company telling them there has been no credit, fraud department confirming it as well, online bank statements confirming no credit issued. Return was approved by a supervisor as it was a replacement item and cleared for return without ever refunding me! Just sucks.
1) phone. Hold times are 10-30 minutes, u less you need the Serta team than it's 3-5 hours.
2) lack of customer care in store
3) pick up order- associates look at you wait for 3-8 minutes in the club area. Apparently only 1 guy in the whole store that also does the shopping is allowed to check us out.
4) besides the long hold times, they can't really help on the phone- at anything.
5) once on the chat customer service the experience was so bad, I said maybe I need a membership else where (I wish there was) and they told me, "if you feel you need to cancel please do". And there was no profanity, insults, or the like coming from me.
6) they do not get 1 star because they do have some of the better deals in town.
Answer: Sams club has no customer service. Costco is the way to go
Answer: Always clean store. Staff courteous and helpful. Areas stocked items easy to find fast checkout. Whole atmosphere is awesome. No screaming kids
Answer: Call the local store speak to Store Manager who will identify the problem
Answer: IN the store - no problem, it was correct answer. If you are not, try to chat. You can wait a little - not too long, however, you will get help from an associate.
