I'm writing this to publicly warn everyone: Salvex is a scam. Over a year ago, I deposited $30,000 USD into my Salvex account. They've been holding my money as a credit balance ever since and refusing to return it to my bank account despite repeated requests. Every time I ask for a refund, they ignore me, delay the response, or simply go silent. They are refusing to return my own money. To try to recover at least some value from this situation, I recently placed a $30,000 bid on a product listed by a seller I personally know and trust. The seller contacted me directly and said my offer was "too low" and asked if I could bid higher — which made no sense to me. Later, the same seller showed me screenshot proof that Salvex only presented him with an offer of $10,000, not the $30,000 I actually bid. In other words: I placed a $30,000 bid (I have full screenshots). Salvex only showed the seller a $10,000 offer. They are withholding customers' money, lying about bids, and manipulating offers between buyers and sellers for reasons I can only assume are dishonest or illegal. After more than a year, $30,000 of my funds are still stuck, and Salvex continues to avoid any accountability. I also know several other people who have had similar experiences with them, and I believe this is a pattern. I strongly advise everyone: stay far away from Salvex. This company is not trustworthy. I am now in the process of taking legal action, and I will not stay silent until this issue is resolved.

Over a year ago, I trusted Salvex. Com with a $30,000 transaction. Instead of honoring that trust, they gave me misleading and incomplete information about a deal over the phone. After I sent the money, they tried to push me into paying more. When I refused, they didn't return the funds — instead, they gave me "credit" and insisted I could only use it by buying something else from them. They're just wasting time while holding onto my money. Let me be clear: I didn't ask for credit. I didn't agree to store my money with them. I've asked multiple times to return at least a portion to reduce my losses — but they've shown no intention of doing the right thing. This is not professional. This is not ethical. And it's definitely not how a trustworthy business behaves. Salvex. Com has been holding my $30,000 hostage for over a year. Be careful. I lost my business because of this — don't let the same happen to you.

Took our wire for $30k and then all communication stopped. These guys are just in the business to rip people off and have no intention of completing the transaction.

One our customers recommended Salvex to us. We saw a great lot option amd placed a bid. I received notice that our company came in the highest. Miguel was the trader on record. His phone rang out yesterday and is disconnected today. The main office line also doesn't have anyone monitoring the calls and just rings. We emailed both Miguel and the main company email with 0 response. Combined with the reviews I have seen about issues with delivery and payment, I am starting to regret attempting to purchase anything from this company.

I paid them 32k for an excavator and now I can't get the release on the equipment. Phone number has been disconnected. No answer at their office line. Bogus emails stating they have to check with their accounting department. It's a total scam and I will be taking immediate legal action.

Several months later I have this update. They did close out the transaction but I would never do business with them as a buyer or seller. Their process is totally unprofessional and takes so long that you think you're being scammed. This is the only auction outfit I have ever experienced this with. They are by far the most unprofessional and irresponsible company I have worked with in 35 years of business. Stay away!

I highly recommend Salvex for anyone in the market for industrial equipment, machinery, or materials. Their website is user-friendly, their customer service is excellent, and their selection of products is extensive and high-quality.

After several reviews we have gotten our refunds back. Problem resolved, in my opinion it took longer and extreme measures but it happened.

First thier new website is a mess, on my dashboard it says I'm bidder #4 on the item page it says I'm bidder # 1 so something has to be fixed.
I have bid on items for a long time in fact some items I bid on 2 years ago are still on the site, a few times I bid on something and 4-5 months go by then they contact you and say hey you won we sent you an invoice, I tell them I no longer intrested in that product, they say that will be a mark against you, WTF should be a mark against them, anyway I'm trying to bid on unclaimed cargo with Raquel, horrible communicator but I'm bidding against my better judgement tho no pictures and no real discription I do however make it clear if I'm winning bid I want to inspect BEFORE I send any money, tho I don't understand how a creditable company could do an auction like that, ALSO I was top bid when the auction ended, no call, no email, they just relisted the auction! I emailed Raqual look, I understand they want more, send me pictures, a discription, what they want and maybe we could work out a deal, crickets. I buy a trailer load a week of product so it's not like I'm a novice, so is this company dishonest or just don't give a crap?

I "Bought" an item from them, sent a wire, then was told it was "lost" and they issued me a "salvex credit". I'm curious how they manage to rationalize their actions.

They are very professional. The trader was a consistent communicator. I appreciate that. I have worked with Salvex on many projects

The traders did an excellent job getting us the information we needed to move the material and finalize the purchase. We enjoy doing business with Salvex and really enjoy working with their sales group.

All went excellently. Smooth, quick and professional. Everyone was great.

They were very patient with me due to some trouble with my insured and the shipper. I will be using their services again when needed.

Salvex says the issue was resolved Yet the issue in question was from 2014 and we NEVER heard from them until this day. CROOKS & LIARS! TRASH!
