I bought 2 coats. Before they were delivered price went down 20%. My sizes were still in stock. I called their customer service and said I can buy botg right now its in my cart and return what i bought bc the discount was substantial or perhaps you have price adjustment policy. Rep said we do price adjustments she asked my order the items checked that the price was down and said yes i ll process your price adjustment. Then i saw no refunds. I called and found out that it wasnt eligible for PA. Why take the case and "request" PA? I could have bought it online myself. Nordstrom has an online form that gives you an answer right away based on price and availability. So this is absurd outcome of the process in place and as such a good customer service would have given me 20% post fact but not saks fifth ave. They apologised for the rep that went ahead and submitted PA request and said there is nothing we can do. There is a lot you can do. U csn give me 20%. U can decide on the spot whether something is eligible for PA like nordstrom bloomingdales neiman marcus and all the rest. I will return both. They still have my sizes. Good luck selling.
I had been a Saks customer for years and then had issues with my account being hacked. I called them but they didn't really care so I cancelled my Saks store credit card bc I was afraid whoever hacked my account would use my card. About three months ago, I decided to try ordering from Saks again (only paying with a regular visa, not Saks) and had no real issue with my first orders. Just placed an order for 2 tee shirts this afternoon for $x and was charged *5 times* in an hour for the one transaction: twice for $x, twice for a different $amount and once for another different $ amount. I called Saks and got some flunky customer service agent who after I explained the above asked me if I'd placed an order with Saks (eye roll) and then after I confirmed I did, said I had to call my credit card company - in other words, he could care less that I and ultimately, Saks, was getting ripped off. I ended up calling my card company and they cancelled the 4 charges I didn't make but I will now not have use of my card for a few days, and also Saks is probably busy sending out merch to some thief that charged my card but now Saks will be holding the bag. No wonder they are going bankrupt. They are probably getting stolen from daily and they don't seem to even care.
I received a defective pair of Louboutins, which sot me 1000 dollars. I returned them and though the tracking code confirms the delivery, they DENY having received my return. I've been waiting for 2 months for my money now. AWFUL DISGUSTING SCAMMING company!
Received a Damage Clutch and now being accused of it
Every year my husband has an annual company trip in January. I purchase a plethora of items online from various retailers and return everything I end up not using. Long story short, I purchase a clutch from Saks on 1/17 and it gets delivered on 1/19. However there is a huge stain on the inside of the purse! So I go online that night and immediately put in a return request and select the product is damaged reason. We have to leave for my husband company trip on 1/21. Since I have so many other errands to do before we leave I decide I'll return it when we get back on 1/25. On Feb 12 I get a refund for heels I returned with the clutch. Which immediately I think is odd since the clutch was returned in the same box as the heels. I contact customer service online to inquire abs the say it's still processing so give it the full 14 days. After 14 days I contact customer service again online to inquire about the return and they say it's still being processed and to wait the full 21 days! It was first 14 days now it was 21. Before the 21st day I get a package in the mail it the damaged clutch and letter in the box saying they could not accept my return! I am upset at this point so I call Saks to explain I did not damage the cloth and ask them why they didn't do any due diligence before accusing me of damaging the clutch that I received damaged in the first place. I was frustrated and upset being accused for something I didn't do. I asked them to track who purchased the item before me because they failed to inspect the item before sending it out me. I went through my emails to explain the date sequence of when I received the product to when I went immediately after I received the product to request the return because I noticed it it was damaged right away.
My frustrations stem from the fact that Saks never reached out to me once to investigate and do their due diligence before making the determination that I was the reason for the damaged product. I reached out multiple times and kept being told to follow up on another date. And the sheer fact that I am being accused of damaging a $400 clutch that was sent to me damaged in the first place is appalling!
3 weeks ago, I made a purchase via phone at the Beverly Hills, CA location. 1st - The sales rep sent my item to the wrong address. 2nd - NO ONE, not even the store manager would help me rectify this situation (couldn't get her on the phone - I was offered her email address by everyone I spoke with in the Ladies Shoe Dept. After NO ONE (including the sales rep that took the order & store manager) didn't bother to contacted FedEx, the item was eventually returned to Saks. 3rd - I called their credit card company to dispute the charges and they were also of NO help - told me I need to wait another 2-3 weeks for them to research return before crediting my account. Saks Fifth SUCKS. After being a customer for over 10 years - I'm taking my business to Neiman's.
Simply put, I ordered ONE ITEM!! I tried to get through to customer service to ask a question before I ordered but kept getting interrupted because they keep you on hold for 20-30 minutes each time. So I finally just ordered the ONE ITEM online. Shipping was slow but I finally received the item several days later IN THE WRONG COLOR. I sent it back that day by FedEx ground and a week later they received it in Tennessee. So I called to see if they could send me the color that I ordered and they said it would take an additional 2 weeks to for them to process the return after they received it. They suggested that I start from square one and buy the item again online even though they still had my money. They wanted me to pay for the item twice. The funniest part of the conversation was when the agent said that "they may send the wrong color again" if I order it again. WHAT? I kept asking the poor customer service agents,"You realize how ridiculous this is in order to purchase one item, right?" I had around 7 phone calls and and 3.5 hours to receive one item. Saks used to be my favorite store but never will I order online again. I have a headache.
I ordered 2 coats from Saks Off 5th but for some reason each coat was sent through two separate shipping companies. The first coat was supposedly signed for and delivered by FedEx, but I never signed for or received anything. The second coat came through a local regional shipper which I received just fine. So I called fedex to ask what happened to my package but their investigation came up with nothing and they advised me to contact Saks Off 5th. I contacted SOF and they told me they would investigate the matter but it would take 2 weeks for an investigation and a refund if I'm eligible. Well after the 2 weeks, I received an email saying my package was delivered so they couldn't do anything for me. WHAT! So I paid for a coat that some FedEx worker lied about getting a signature for and stole! I don't think so! So I filed a chargeback with my credit card company and they are currently working on it - save yourself the hassle and just stay away from this company! Their CS is located in the Philippines good luck trying to explain your issue to someone over there.
I know someone who works for Saks. My friend has experience mistreatment being an employee from team leaders and other support teams. They don't allow for customers to get their money back for a problem that was not even the customer fault. Customers are made to run around in circles trying to get answers as to where their orders are, shipping delay, order cancelled by Saks, refund, and so many other issues. They have their workers wait for a long time on the phone with customer for a manager or supervisor help. Customer's questions are not answered after waiting so long to get connected to supervisor. Employees don't get the right help and trainin g they need in order to assist customers. They are too quick to pick on hard working employees over those who are not doing their jobs. Saks is very quick to take your money but when it's time to get it back they'll make it harder. Customers who have had packages stolen have been told to deal with it themselves it's not Saks problem. They are very quick to hang up on customers the moment customers gets frustrated about a problem Saks not taking care of. Saks also supports Balenciaga which most of you know is promoting children being s***alized. Saks only cares about taking your money.
Don't buy anything from Saks. Their customer service is horrible and they scam people. They don't ship full products and they don't respond to your issues
Everything arrived damaged, wax from candles everywhere - along with broken glass. Still waiting for FULL refund and it's been almost a month1
Returned item in store, but was charged for return shipping. Even though I returned the item in store! A scam and theft. It's not the $10, it's the dishonesty and principal of the matter.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Ordered my boots dec 11 2021! Never received my package and it was like one month I'm waiting, called them to find out what's happening with my order and they give me the run around"call back in24 hours, we're experiencing high call volumes and can't get in contact with the supplier" FML! Get your company in order and serve the costumers. Got my refund after 2 months and I had to call 4 times
I love shopping at Saks and now I can from the comfort of my computer. They ship fast. I wrote to say I wished they carried all NARS cosmetic colors and I got a nice reply.
WORST COMPANY- NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They don't even deserve 1 star. This company has NO customer service. Their team is rude and nasty, especially "customer" service manager Brian. Saks cheaped out and source a foreign 3rd party carrier who could not follow directions and NEVER delivered my package. I, as a customer, was completely ignored and my issue was totally disregarded as I had to constantly follow up, 5 times, on my requested refund claim, only to find out from a non discript email that the refund team decided they would not refund my money! WHAT? WHY would I be held responsible for payment for an item I NEVER received?! Finally spoke to Brian and he was the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with. Saks- YOU NEED TO LEARN A LESSON OR 2 FROM NORDSTROM! NEVER WILL I OR ANYONE I KNOW TO PURCHASE FROM YOUR COMPANY!
I'm disappointed in the return process at saks 5th Ave initially I purchased two items that came in one box. After realizing one item couldn't fit, I initiated a return. Originally, I planned to keep the 2nd item but my son decided he didn't want it. So, instead of sending two separate returns I decided to put the two items in the original box it came in. However, I didn't realize I needed to initiate a return using a different box. After realizing my screw up I called saks customer service but got nothing but the runaround about how they aren't sure if both items were inside because they haven't received any information from the warehouse once they received the package. Total bs. I also was told the waiting process for money to be returned to my account will take at least 14 days. 14 days, is ridiculous! Someone needs to look into this order to resolve it. Bad reviews doesn't look good. My order number is ******* I just want the second item to be account for so a return could be initiated for that one also.
Saks has a very nice working team, everytime I called they were very nice but I really dont like the way they work with clients. I ordered a Chloe bag for my mom, the first order gets cancelled... I am out 380 of my account, the refunds takes 48h, so I make another purchase out now 800 of my account. Get the refund for the first order 2 days later. After the 2nd order is confirmed, I call Saks and email twice to make sure they do signature at reception, since the mailmen leave boxes outside the door of my mom's house in the bronx... many of our stuff gets stolen. After all those tries, they claim they can not change the delivery method. So package arrives and gets stolen... I call Saks, they open an investigation that can take 1-2 weeks to process refund. What?! I never heard of such a long delay! Mother's Day has passed, my mom does not have yet her gift, and I am out of 339 of my account, I won't make another purchase until I get my refund... even though the people working there have been very helpful, I really dont like their policy, not everyone has hundreds just laying around in their bank account to re-make and re-make orders!
Incredibly poor online experience. I order two pairs of CDG PLAY x converse as Christmas gifts for my sisters. The first error occured when i enter the gift option put in the gift recipient name and agreed to the extra $5 charge. Placed order and it removed the gift box option. Though im positive it processed the gift options i can be sure of that cause on my second order, it gave me the option to autofill the previous recipient which should only happen if that page has processed that name box before. I make one order assuming it was showing unisex shoe sz as mens, on that order it was, so i go to my next cdg converse assuming the same thing but instead of showing it as unisex and in mens size well on this order it showed womens size but didnt say sizes displayed were womens so that order was wrong and i wont have my sisters gift on time for Christmas. Beyond that shoes arrived in ridiculous condition for being a luxury store, the shoes were folded over on themselves, one had a tongue completely twisted around and backwards. Also the "manage order" tab when i wanted to start the online return process takes me to a white page with code, obviously a faulty error. Its unbelievable a company that relies on its reputation as a high end luxury good supplier could have such a ridiculously poor online service.
NO STARS!
But that wasn't an option here
They sent me the wrong plate twice, charged me twice for the return. I had to pay for the shipping of the return and after the WRONG PLATE for the SECOND time came back. Costumer service literal said, Maybe give up because we have NO CONTROL when it comes to our venders.
Really not fun experience. WON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!
I called and placed an order on 3/2/2016 for a Burberry belt the belt was way to small, called and Spoke with a representative that told me to return the belt at the near post office and to call the next day to place the new order and I was not going to get charge for the order only the difference. Called the next day and the rep said she didn't know who I spoke with but that was not the return policy, placed a new order and explained to her I needed the item In four days she stated there was nothing she could do about it bc it ships from a store. Called back and spoke with a manager that said all she could do was listen to the recording and coach her agents that she was going to try to ship the item in three days but she was leaving and one and she couldn't promise anything l. Speechless this is a high end store I told her I was very disappointed specially when this was the first order I placed with them. After she said there was nothing she could do, I will NEVER buy from them again EVER! Nordstrom knows how to treat their customer way better not to mention saks reps are very unprofessional and ghetto even he manager. I think Walmart call center is way better which is a shame. Well they lost a customer!
I returned two items I got from Saks fifth avenue, and I received one back because according to them, there wasn't prove of purchase. I called their customer service, and they arranged for FedEx to pick up the item. Surprisingly, the item was returned to me again on the grounds that it was not sent with the original tag which I did send when I did the initial return. The Rep said one of the items I sent back to them was worn and damaged yet they never sent back that one to me. They sent back the Christian Louboutin shoes that costs over a thousand dollars claiming that eventhough it was not damaged, the shoe did not match the code they had in their system. He also mentioned that since it was the second time that Saks was returning the shoes, there was nothing I could do other than keep them, give them to a loved one or sell them. So, if you like to shop at Saks, beware when you buy expensive stuff because they may not accept your return and you will be stuck with a shoe that costs more than a thousand bucks that you can not wear for ten minutes just like what happened to me. Reviews are usually 80% accurate. When I read your reviews, I realized that I was not the only victim.
