Horrible quality, customer service

On 11/6/22 I spent $220 on a rug from RugsUSA.com. My rug was completely faded out in spots and 5 holes were worn in it within 3 months of receiving it. I contacted the company and sent them a detailed description with photos and they elected to offer a $50 gift certificate and 15% off my next purchase from them instead of standing by the quality they claim in their product. Obviously that would involve spending more money on a rug from a company that provides sub par products and customer service. Save your money and buy rugs anywhere else. You'd have trouble finding worse quality and you can spend a whole lot less on something equivalent to their products.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that we weren't able to offer more assistance with this order. I see that you sent us photos of the damage, and our Customer Service Supervisor determined that the damaged was likely caused by a vacuum.

The Navy Francesca Timeworn Charm Washable Area Rug is on the thinner side and most of today's vacuums are designed for high powered suction on hardwood flooring and wall to wall carpet. Because of this, they are often too abrasive for use with area rugs on a normal setting. Upright or canister vacuums that don't include a beater bar are the best choice. We recommend vacuuming with the beater bar removed.

Unfortunately, since your order is from November 2022, it is past our 30 day return period, and you did not opt to purchase the additional warranty plan when you placed the order.

The only resolution we are able to offer for this issue is a discount to use towards a new order.

Great rug, still has creases

Love the rug. Arrived folded in a small box so easy to transport but it has creases upon arrival. Info said to wait a week for creases to disappear but it's going on 2 weeks now and they're still there :( my only complaint. Otherwise rug is very soft and looks nice

I bought a rug from this website and I loved it, but within 3 months it as already falling apart. I emailed customer service and they refused to do anything because it was past a 30 day return period. I understand that you have to have restrictions on returns, but if a customer spends their hard earned money on your product and that product ends up being defective, I believe the company should attempt to remedy it in some way. In one single email they said, no returns, no credits and that no one else would be able to give me any other answer. Basically they were telling me to let it go. I'm done with them.

Nice rug

Everything was fine. I appreciate your sales and discounts. You make rug shopping easy. The absolute only downside to shopping rugs USA is having to pay for return shipping, though I completely understand.

I bought a 10' x 14' rug and it matches well with the website description. It is carefully woven and it's quality shows in the texture, thickness, and weight. The photos shared by other users also helps a lot. The only thing I wish Rugs USA can improve would be the packaging because the plastic bag that contained the product was partially torn apart. Luckily it was not a rainy day when it arrived. Otherwise, I may have a wet rug.

Hefty Return Fees
November 15, 2022

I bought 3 rugs from this company, 1 was by accident. This company responded well to my request to return the rug, but also charged me $120 to return a $500 rug. Buying things online is difficult as you cannot see colors or quality very well. If you're unhappy with your purchase, you will be punished with a hefty return fee. So, beware.

Very disappointed
January 16, 2022

I placed an order 27 November. It is now 17 December and am now finding out the rigs I ordered are out of stock. These were advertised as in stock. I only know they are out bc I called. The bogus email is saying waiting on a tracking number. These are for a Christmas gift and now won't be available until sometime in January, if that is even true.
This is one of the worst online shopping experiences ever.
I'm more upset about the dishonesty than the slow service.

Rugs USA attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Rug smelled like mold from hell! Disgusting made me sick just sniffing it for 2 seconds. Pad should be included not $30 extra. They steal 30% of your refund for return shipping costs when it should be 15%. Avoid this website like the plague! Furniture should be bought in person.

At first sight, this rug looked fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. 100 days in and this rug is coming apart at the seems. The entire rug is not weaved together, rather it is pieced together and sewn with very thin thread. Once the thread breaks, the rug begins to separate. Our rug is 105 days and we have 3 different places where the thread has ripped and is now separating.

They do not stand behind the products they manufacture. I called customer service and submitted images and was told they cannot do anything after 90 days, remind you I am at 100... I have spoken several times with customer service and asked to escalate; however they tell me management is unavailable at this time and then no return calls.

Best advice... STAY AWAY

Love it so much!

I'm so happy with this rug. The material is soft and comfortable under foot. We ordered the premium pad underneath to go with it. I really love everything about it. It arrived quick and lays flat even after being rolled for transport.

Always satisfied

I have ordered many times over the past few years from Rugs USA. I always shop around a lot prior to ordering. They track my shopping and email me discounts and sales on the items I am looking for and I always get the best price there. Shipping is usually very fast and when it takes a little extra time they notify me and follow up to make sure my order was delivered. My experience has been that the quality is great and has always been as described and pictured.

Fast delivery, poor quality, difficult return.

Delivered quickly.
The carpet was littered with lumps of hard, dried glue that had seeped from the back during production. It was painful to step on them.
Almost immediately returned via FedEx. The refund was made after about three weeks and after repeated correspondence with support.

Poor Customer Service
February 16, 2020

Ordered a rug and upon checkout it suggests a pad. When ordering pad it does not disclose that it can not be used with certain floor types. This morning which is 12 hours after I placed order - I get an informational email about care of rug and pad. The pad is not compatible with my flooring so I contact company and try to cancel. 3 emails are exchanged and then I get notice pad has shipped. 5 minutes later I get an email notifying me sorry but a tracking number has been issued so I can not cancel or refund at this time. I ask to have a return shipping label sent then and told sorry they cannot do that until the item is actually received. I rate customer service with NO stars.

Very organic
November 28, 2021

We received our rug very quickly but didn't put it out due to the room not being ready. When we did I was pleased with how it looked although there were many loose ends that I needed to be cut. I first thought I had it upside down, then I saw the binding. It is very organic in that it isn't perfectly rectangular because of the jute but it lays beautifully and it is a perfect bottom layer to the next rug that's going on top.

Lamp replacement

Requiring me to input 50 characters in a box that I could use four characters to describe my experience is highly annoying and makes my overall experience with this organization drop from a high to a mid range score.

It arrived, like 2/3 days after ordering. That is amazing in itself.
The reason reason for 4 stars is that there are a couple of spots that have something pokey in it. Like something accidentally got left in when being made. I just avoid stopping on those. I do not wear shoes in the house.
Other than that, it's absolutely beautiful and I'm very happy with it.
I'm looking to order more.
