I was looking for a well made thick modern rug and found the perfect one on this site. Customer service was friendly and answered my questions when I called. I can't believe how quickly my beautiful rug came! It was in my home in TWO days! Exceeds expectations!

Fantastic Customer Service!

I signed on as a new customer and ordered two rugs this morning, thinking I would receive the 15% discount for signing up and agreeing to texts. I did not. On further reflection, I decided to order an additional throw rug. I still did not receive the discount. So I requested a chat. I was immediately helped by Diane, who ordered the 15% discount on my earlier order and gave me a new code for my new order! Immediately! I am so impressed by the fantastic customer service and my discounts on top of sale prices! Thank you, Rugs Direct!

Adequate
October 2, 2020

I have purchased rugs from Rugs Direct for several years. Very fast delivery and quality has always been satisfactory. I discovered today, however, that I can purchase identical rugs for as much as 40% cheaper from at least 6 different sites, including Amazon. Free shipping and no problem returns.

Beware! I paid taxes twice on one purchase!

I purchased a rug in Sept and paid taxes at that time (which I informed them of by sending invoice.) They told me last week I didn't pay and they would be charging my account this week. I sent them proof of payment and they just deducted the tax from my account again!

They sent the wrong rug, the quality of the rug was less than I expected considering the cost, but they get four stars for customer service. They picked up the rug within days and gave me all my money back immediately after. There was not even a service or handling charge. A shout out to customer service rep Suzan Burkett who handled my order. She was professional, efficient and most of all kind. If you are having difficulty with this company, I'd ask to speak to her. I wish their product was better priced and better quality because their customer service people are top notch.

Most beautiful rug ever!

I got my rug in yesterday. It is absolutely beautiful even more in person. And the photo it looks super pink, but it's actually not. It's exactly what I wanted, and what I was looking for color, wise and quality wise. It was worth every penny and I will be purchasing more rugs. The quality is amazing. The one I got is called gray blush

Easy Shopping

This site, specializing in rugs of all types and sizes, had many helps online to assist you in picking out the right rug. They even had the ability to take a photo and show the rug in your room. I loved all of that since I have been unhappy with the rug that I currently have.

Mixed review on this site

Mixed review on this site. They sell area rugs and lots of them. They have all the name brands and all available colors and sizes. We found the rugs we wanted and looked them up by manufacterer and name.

Very good on the prices. If your order goes without a hitch this website is a fantastic find.

Medium to low on the customer service. If you have a little problem, prepare to invest some time to get it fixed.

Example: We placed an order and they shipped us the wrong rug. It had the tag on it for the rug we ordered but it was the wrong rug (wooo - some ugly seashell thing!). We took pictures of the tag and the pattern and sent them with our order # and what went wrong. It took 11 emails before I had my husband call and talk to a person (who wanted us to wait 3 days to talk to our e-mail contact) and then a supervisor. The supervisor was great and ordered a return kit and ordered our correct rug. It shouldn't take that many communications to get problems fixed.

Verry Pleased

On Jan 1,2020 O ordered a beautiful beachy, nautical rug. After I purchased it I decided to look at the reviews. I was shocked at the bad reviews. I had noticed they took the money out of my acct almost immediately. Then I noticed I never received a confirmation in my email. I seriously was going to cancel the order.The next morning I got up and still no email.So my husband called the company. Unfortunately, I cant remember who the rep was other then it was a woman.The rep had said there was some issues with my emailacct provider and it went in my spam mail. I looked in my spam and there it was... Then the rep proceeded to tell my husband that the rug was in stock and we should receive it in 7 to 10 business days. Well, fast forward till today on Jan 4,2020 I received my rug. Only 4 days! Wahoo! The rug was neatly and securely packaged. When I opened it up to my amazement it was gorgeous! Thank you Rug Direct... So glad I didnt cancel..

Costly mistake
May 21, 2023

I bought the sinclair tobacco rug by Magnolia on May 11. Found out several hours later that it was literally half price on Wayfair and Amazon. Called for a price match but was told it was too late. After speaking with customer service received a small discount. Still overpaid greatly. I see the rug is now being sold for much less. They say free shipping but it cost $40 because it was oversized. If I returned it I would have had to pay quite a bit of money as well. Will never buy from them again.

Horrible service!

Horrible service! I placed an order weeks ago, first confirmation email said will ship on Nov 21st., nothing! Called, emailed, they keep saying next week... next week, still nothing! They don't send updates or anything! Waiting time on the phone to request information 20+ minutes.

Please do yourself a favor and order from a reputable website / retailer, that actually communicates and will send the product(s) you ordered.

A horrible rug
March 2, 2022

I bought a rug through Rugs Direct recently. Upon arrival it was clear that the rug was printed on some sort of material. There was no weaving noted. In addition it had lines of white markings similar to what would happen if it was put through a machine ( perhaps a printer?)

A really terrible "rug"

Rugs are NOT in stock

Be aware that just because it allows you to add a rug to your cart and purchase it, that does NOT mean it's in stock. But they won't tell you that until after you pay. None of the three rugs we purchased are in stock. One says it will take at least a week to ship. The other 2 don't even have estimates. Do yourself a favor and order from Wayfair or Overstock. You might pay $2 more per rug, but it's worth it!

I purchased this n November received an email that said the rug would not be delivered for approximately 3 to 6 months. He left to go away for a few months having not heard from them and I received a call from a neighbour that some package had been sitting on my porch for over a week. I sent someone over to put in my garage until I got home. By the time we returned it was over the return policy. I loved the rug just not for my room. When I contacted customer service within a day of getting home and explaining to them what happened they said too bad we were over the return allowance and they would do nothing about it I will never order from them again.

OMG! I thought I was the only one having problems with them. I placed an order in July, 2019 for an "in stock" item. Here we are end of October, and I get an email "estimated ship date JAN 25,2020". Wasted my time calling Customer Dis-service.

I bought a 9' x 12' rug. I spoke to two separate people in customer service and they told me the rug did not have any gray in it, that it was brown and tan. Well I got it and guess what? It was mostly gray so I told them I wanted to return it. They told me I could do that, but I would have to pay the shipping myself. So I took it to FedEx and they wanted $380 to ship it back That is absolutely ridiculous. They will not help me out with the shipping at all and now I'm stuck with the rug that doesn't go with any of my furnishings. They were also incredibly rude. When I told them I wanted to return it, they ignored everything I said, and just sent me the directions to return it. There is no point the rug was on sale. It was only $550. I'm not going to pay another 350 to ship it back. I am disgusted with them. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. If I had bought a rug from Amazon or Pottery Barn they would've taken it back for free. If anybody, even a complete stranger asks me about Rugs Direct I will tell them to run as fast as they can in the other direction. They did give me a 15% coupon off on my next purchase. Like I would ever buy anything from them again. That's just adding insult to injury.

An absolutely awful site

I bought a rug from them that was a piece of junk. They will let me return it but only if I pay freight. The rug is not as advertised and it is very expensive. Shame on me for buying online during a pandemic. BUT NEVER AGAIN! Stay away.

1. Rug texture did not look at all like the Web photo
2. Shipping to be free but a $6.95 handling fee was added
3. Rug size was 2 1/2" wider that stated on the site and on the rug's label.
4. Despite all this the return of the rug for credit was denied.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!

AWFUL DELIVERY
December 1, 2020

I ordered two rugs from Rugs Direct. They arrive promptly. One of them contained the normal curling up at the edges, which should straighten out in a few days.(I put some heavy books on it.). The other looks like it went to hell and back. The way it was packaged has left multiple crinkles and folds in it that look like they may never flatten out. I have never had a problem like this with any rug I have purchased elsewhere (and there have been many),

The "30 day trial" is very misleading, nothing more than a return within 30 days at your expense policy. When I ordered I first asked what would it cost to return within the trial' period and was told probably over $100. Thinking it couldn't be too bad I ordered it. I think I should have ordered the next size up, so called to inquire about a return. Shipping will cost me $700! More than I pd for the rug! I'd highly recommend you shop brick and mortar, close to home!
