Ross store in Sahuarita is the worse I have ever had the opportunity to shop at... and I've shopped at Ross a lot! First the store is such a mess. Clutter and blocked isles, and just messy. Then, when I went to check out, I was only the second in line. And when I got my turn, a customer who was in the return isle comes up with an item to return and a cart full of other merchandise. She shopped first and filled her cart knowing she could go ahead of the regular line with her one return. When she got her credit for her return, she then started unloading her merchandise and said "is this alright" and the clerk said no problem. YES there was a problem. She should have gotten in line like the rest of us for her additional shopping. I was in line over 20 minutes and I was the next one up when she got her pass to cut in line. By the time she got her items all done, there was a line that wrapped around the wait line. I have never been to a Ross' that let this happen. I've shopped all over the west and north at Ross'. There were also 4 other cashiers including an asst. Manager, but they were not doing any checkouts. Finally the asst. Manager helped me, and when I told her that I was not happy about this, she apologized, but nothing she could do. Of course not. This is not the first problem of this sort from this particular store. I have had to leave a few times because of this type of situation. I have spent a lot of money at Ross in the past. I will make sure I never go to this store again, even though I only live about 3 miles from it!
Let me start off this, Ross is such BS. Who here should be more responsible for the item purchase? The cashier or the customer? When we (us customers) ready to pay up our items we bring them all to the cashier right? And they ask us if we want a bag. In my case I always do ask for a bag and cashier are supposedly have to make sure everything are in the bag right? I mean we also (us customers) are responsible for our items but we cant everytime foresee everything for sometimes we are distracted, we have kids to keep an eye on or some cellular activities. So, this what happened. One item we purchased was not in the bag, we just realize it like 2 days ago. It was paid in the receipt and we didnt have it. I called the store and told them bout the missing item, store manager asked me to come down to the store, so I went and we check. First, they said they couldnt see the video of the transaction wherein they based it on the time and date of the transaction in the receipt, That's bs isnt? One of the guy even told me I brought a wrong receipt which is such stupid. Take note of this, not all the transaction time on the receipt is 100% accurate its can be 5 mins later or before. So i told the manager I cant leave here without getting my refund. At the end of the day they had it
Refunded but I walked away not a happy customer, instead I am disappointed so much for they shouldve consider compensating me for it is not my fault that the item was
Missing and I have to spent time, gas and effort just to make things right..
This Ross company has neither consideration nor understanding for employees. Which why I am saying this is because I started for no more then a week ago. Like I completed my orientation and just begun my 3 day training for operating stand up pallet Jakes as well as stand up forklifts. But within this time of training I had transportation issues ( meaning my car had issues) and I called the Ross attendance line and let the individuals whom should know of my absence in the due process as instructed. So I gets a call from a Ross company worker asking me did I not called in my absence. I said yes I did and go to tell this individual why I couldn't make by explaining that my car being fixed on right now as we speak and she wanted. I can send photos of it like right now. She said that's okay sir. You have a legitimate issue and we will reset your training date and you are not fired in any way. I will have to have you be approved for a new training day. Just make sure you call in everyday untill date has been scheduled. So upon waiting for over a week. I called to see what was the hold. The Ross attendance worker says to me. Hmm I don't recall speaking to you. I said yes you did mam and it was you whom I spoke to. She checks her notes and sees that she did in fact had spoken with me and apologized for the long wait of me not being approved to get back to my training. She goes on to say. My supervisor had taken a vacation and that's why it has taken so long. But she will get back to me soon. I gets a call back saying that i have been terminated because I missed a training day and other factors that she can't speak on.? Then it was told to me. You have to wait 6 months if you want to come back to Ross. Now why I want to work for a company that clearly has no consideration nor understanding of a employees situation. Why? Which I can go even deeper about how these tyrants run Ross company. Sad but true.
I was discriminated against, psychologically abused, accused of being a thief, I was humiliated for being Latina, by the cashier who is more Latino than me. How can he express himself that way and he also referred to her coworker as "the black woman." It's really serious. It all started when, upon arriving, I saw a wallet and it had no price, so I went to ask the cashier who was there the price, and she told me that it cost $12, but since we had just arrived there was still a lot to buy. At the time of paying, since the wallet did not have a label, the man wanted to charge me more than 12 and I told him no, that wallet costs only 12, I asked him to verify the price on his computer. And he told me in a very haughty and contemptuous way that "No" he said that he is not going to waste his time looking for a price. If I want to buy it, it will be at the price that the cashier says and if not, I shouldn't buy it. Besides, he said that I am Latina, I steal and take the labels off of things. And suddenly I felt a strong squeeze on my chest. And I asked him, "Are you calling me a thief?" There you have the cameras, you can check them and see them. He made me feel very bad. My heart is not healthy. We spent about half an hour or more waiting for him to sell us the wallet, at its true price. However, I only received a number of insults and mistreatment, my sister had to call the Manager on the phone and when she came I realized that it was the same person, who was at the cash register, when I asked the price of the wallet. She was the one who was able to sell me the wallet in the end. It is a crime to be falsely accused of being a thief without evidence and on top of that to be discriminated against, humiliated and make me and my family upset. Giving us a terrible and horrible time. My mother is an elderly person and suffers from high blood pressure, and the man had already upset my mother, and my niece is just a girl and the man had already scared her. Not to mention my sister and I, as well as other customers who were there, who couldn't believe the attitude of that cashier.
Ross have lots of deals but their stores are usually messy and very slow at the register... I guess you really do get what you pay for.
Every single item that I have bought at Ross is fantastic! It's one of my favorite stores. Prices are reasonable and products are great!"
I have bought a little of everything from Ross. From baby to clothing and household items. Like the prices. Great for holiday shopping.
I can usually find the perfect outfit at a reasonable price. Household items, as seen on tv, pet items, furniture, pictures, etc.
Products look good at the store, but wear-out fast, fading colors and shrinking. I bought few things they, but never return again

I ordered one handbag via online and the product arrived correctly. Quality is fine. I recommend this website
I still love to shop here, but their lotions are way too watered down, and a lot of their designer brands look to cheap to be the real thing.
I have not seen anything that was not priced very good it's just a fade. Wallmart has the same products
There is a perfect place in Litchfield Kentucky right next to the dollar store that would be perfect for a Ross It's outlet store there's nothing really around here for clothing besides Walmart
Ross has very different name brands and the prices are usually very good and it always feels like you've gotten a great deal.
