Beautiful vintage inspired dress, flattering on triangle and pear shaped figures and I love how stretchy it is. I was really nervous about how it would fit, but it is great. Stretchy fabric, breathable, but thick enough not to be see through, although I still need to check in daylight if it needs a skip, it's fine indoors though. I LOVE how this dress flatters my figure.
I was really excited about this beautiful dress in green color green on screen. I have looked at it for about a week to wait to see a review on the green color, finally one posted saidthis color is not olive, and another had said it's more of a tree green. I was really hoping this would be emerald green like the picture and when it come to me, it looks quite same with the pictures. It does fit really well and I could have actually fit a large with the amount of stretch.
OK ladies, so here's the deal. I'm a size 14 and I got the dress. It fit perfectly and the material is very stretchy so I can say that it would be fine for a 14 as well. For a size 12 I would recommend sizing down to a medium. Overall, the dress is very flattering. It's very stretchy so it's comfortable and the color is a bright cherry red which will make you stand out in the crowd.
The dress came in about a week, and I was almost shocked as I opened the package. Love this dress! I got it in the purple flowered and the black with red flowers. Plenty of fabric in the skirt, if you'd like it to 'poof' out you'll need a crinoline underneath. Great price, nice dress. This is a cute dress. I would be 100% satisfied with it, had it been the same color as it appears in the photo.
I was originally going to buy this dress in black for valentines day. It seemed like everyone had the same idea, because it went from 20 in stock on payday, to 2 in stock as I was leaving work, to out of stock by the time I got home. BUT then it came back in stock, in black and red. I LOVED the red option. So my boyfriend bought it for me before it was gone again. In the photo it looked like a gorgeous dark burgundy, a great color for vintage beauty.
So... I got to say I love the dress. I weight 160 pounds 5'5" usually wear 8-10 for dresses and got me a large size and fitted me a little loose Probably medium would've been better. Material is OK. The dress has several stains but I will keep it just because I like it. It was above and beyond my expectations! So happy I got this. I received many compliments when I wore it out. Looks great with the perfect heel.
