I received the wrong part and they won't pay for return shipping this is outrageous I ordered upper ball joints and ended up getting lower ball joints
I ordered part and was told they would be here today and at the end of the day fed ex sent me an email saying they tried to deliver my parts and nobody was there I was out front waiting for them I called them and FedEx acknowledge they lied and said it wouldn't be until Monday that I would get my parts when I needed them today you both suck
Do not buy parts from rock auto you will not get them. They do not have any customer service at all. It will be hell to get your parts or a refund from this company.
I order a part on line june 15 they said it would be here monday the 21st its Friday almost two weeks they are the worst i would never order a part from there again
Rock auto shipped my product to wrong address and i didn't notice until i got email and in email it stated that it had shipped and when i reached out to them they stated they can not change the address i also contact the company delivering the product and they stated that rock auto had a restriction on package and that it can not be held for pick up or address updated that rock auto would have to reach out to them to correct it and rock auto refused to stated that IF my package was returned they would refund cost of product but not cost of shipping and i would have to order item again as they WILL NOT CONTACT COMPANY DELIVERING ITEM AND ASK TO UPDATE ADDRESS OR FOR ITEM TO BE HELD.
Oh and not to mention there is no way to reach customer service accept through email.
No CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER TO CALL..
My recommendation would be to avoid this company like the plague. They will sell you parts that they claim are a match for your vehicle, but that will not fit once you begin the installation process. To be fair, I did not specifically measure my ordered parts to be certain they were going to fit, but then again, when I've ordered parts from Napa, Autozone, Advance, etc. I never had to measure items to see if they were going to fit... if the sites said they fit, they fit. Additionally, upon further scrutinization, the manufacturer of the part I ordered does not even identify any of their auto parts as a match to my vehicle, meaning the mistake was solely RockAuto's. Shockingly, RockAuto absolved themselves of any responsibility and denied refunds, as the part had been installed and could not be sold as new, thus making them unable to accept a return. Basically, RockAuto deceived a customer, by stating the part would fit the automobile, in direct contradiction to the manufacturer, but somehow it is the manufacturer's fault and even more so the customer's fault. Do not order from RockAuto, as there are above average odds that you will receive a wrong part... and if you feel a need to order from RockAuto, please scrutinize and measure each detail of your original part and the ordered part, prior to fully unpacking the ordered part.
I ordered some parts for my vehicle and they sent the wrong part, I sent the part back and they didn't want to refund the money, everything was in original pages except one part that I opened and found out they sent the wrong part, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE.
Well. Since it took me a few months to get around to putting my engine together after ordering the parts, I'M SCREWED! These idiots sent me the wrong rod bearings in the correct box.
Very poor customer service, have to keep exchanging parts because they are defective and have to keep paying shipping cost for sending as well as receiving
Rock auto sent me a part that does not fit my auto, Then tells me they will not ship a part that will work or a shipping label to return part. But tell me I do not get any refund on shipping or part. So I have to pay for the wrong part and the shipping of the item both ways with zero refund GOOD LUCK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Bumper had broken and missing parts, I did the whole picture thing to show it, next day they cancelled my ticket and hadn't been able to talk to anyone,, so they can kiss my $#*!
If you have a problem be patient and talk to a rep if the computer upsets you. They have a very large selection. The cheapest isn't always the best part. True of almost everywhere you go.
Can be confusing at times. But hang in there. I buy lots of parts from them for my businrss. Had one issue at one time but they took care of it in good time
Well I order from RockAuto I've been ordering over a year the only problem I have is the shipping I mean the shipping is more than the part that I buy it should be free shipping so now I get my parts at eBay where is free shipping

One shock was a store return. Plus one was gas charged other was conventional. Dangerous to mix them like this was supposed to be the same. Horrible support.
I ordered a part from rock auto and it wasn't what I ordered and I can't get all my refund because they blame the card and the card blames them so who noes the truth behind this but I'm out 300 hundred dollars but they just lost a customer I will never buy from them again and I'm going tell all my friends and garage in my city

This company is so unprofessional! I ordered over $200 worth of parts and I paid an additional $47 for two day shipping which shows on their website that I was supposed to get it on Friday August 7th. One of my parts was held with DHL because it missed the flight and they told me they would refund my money but Rock City had to open a claim for them to send the refund. Rock City refused to open a claim to help me, in fact they tried to tell me that my order had been delivered when it had not been. After I sent them a screen shot of my order being on hold they told me that their website does not give a exact date for shipment it gives a estimated date which is not true. At the time of my order their website asked if I wanted to pay additional money for 2 day shipping to receive my order by Friday August 7th. Nowhere does it say this is a estimate date for your order to be delivered. Rock city stopped responding to my emails and they closed my ticket. Since then I have sent three additional emails and none of them have been responded to. I understand that mistakes happen but they weren't willing to help at all. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
For what they are and what they do, they are mediocre at best. Understand that they are not even knowledgeable about what they sell, they just sell stuff. The parts I have gotten have always been the correct parts, but I do my due diligence to cross-reference part numbers via many different sites. I do this not only for part fit, but for pricing also. Some times I have gotten parts that were obviously returned products from big chain stores due to defects (Broken brake bleeder in a brake caliper twice. Broken studs or missing nuts, etc... nothing that couldn't be repaired easily enough), Sometimes they may need some tweeking, shaving, or adjustment to fit right (body panels, interior switches, cosmetic things). All of this is the same thing I find with Amazon, Carparts.com, partsgeek.com, etc... So nothing astonishing. The Customer service is the main reason I will not shop there, and have not for the past 4 years. You cannot get in touch with anyone, and the customer doesn't matter. Except for Amazon, and very few other places similar to RA, you will pay shipping to return these things. Most times, you will be better off using them as a conversation piece to warn others of dealing with them. I have that wall of shame. Most of the parts have worked well and have lasted just as long as paying over double the price locally. Use cautiously and do your own homework to verify the proper part numbers, RA is not the only place selling these brands. They only sell things, they know nothing about car parts whatsoever! And that would be why they will not talk to anyone that does.
