After having made you wait 2 weeks for a part (without which I can't circulate because it's from the suspension), they canceled the purchase because they can't get the part. Why are they selling something they don't have in stock?
Living in Canada, and for the difference in the currency exchange, the bank charged me CAD211, and at the time of the cancellation they returned CAD196, which means that in addition to the lousy customer service, and canceling the purchase themselves, I lost CAD15 because they decided to cancel the purchase.

The prices of the parts have went up and what they used to be the shipping prices are outrageous and half the time when you order a part you don't know if it's even going to be the right one or not.
I ordered a pit man that specificully needed 3 groove spline they sent me the 1 with 4 like come on man you just $#*!ed my whole day up more i been out of my truck 2 weeks now and you guys just keep delaying me and its a bunch of bull$#*! not only has this happned once but now this is now a few times my friends have order and gotten wrong parts ya the parts we look at may be the 1s we need and are the right parts but guess what someone back there does not know how to $#*!ing READ!
As a do it yourselfer, I had an issue with my mercedes. I searched for info online and found some erroneous info telling me to replace the brake light switch on my vehicle. I went to Rock Auto, looked up my vehicle, it showed a brake light switch for it. Ordered it, got it, went to put it in, and there was no brake light switch on my model vehicle - what! I did more in depth research and found out other years of my vehicle had a brake light switch, but mine didn't. So why would Rock Auto show and sell one for my vehicle if my model doesn't actually have such a switch? The brake lights are actually actuated by the master cylinder. I contacted Rock Auto, told them this, and asked for a refund including shipping they charged me and shipping back to them because I ordered the switch based on their erroneous listing. I sent the part back, but they charged me for return shipping, didn't refund the original shipping charges, and charged me a restocking fee. I got back less than half what I paid. If their site had been accurate, and didn't show a part that doesn't exist on my vehicle, I obviously would have never ordered it. I got wrong info while searching online for how to do a repair, but what cost me was Rock Autos wrong information that the part fits my vehicle. I would never order anything from them again because they are greedy and do not care about customer satisfaction.
Monday August 24th at 10:15 i ordered ignition coils for my 2005 chrysler 300. Was supposed to receive my order NEXT DAY Tuesday August 25th from around 6-8pm PACKAGE NEVER CAME i PAYED the extra $16.99 For next Business day shipping Now the Tracker is Telling me TOMORROW needed the parts today!
If you have a problem with the wrong part, good luck returned it to this company. No way to print a shipping label. No way to get a hold of someone in customer service.
I have been trying to call them on the phone listed, no one answered I left a voicemail a lady call but denied help. The worst customer service I ever seen

So I purchased a bunch of parts for 96 Suburban. One item was a Spider injection assembly FJ504 Standard Motor Products, A/C Delco was available at the time of purchase. About a week later the built in fuel pressure regulator went out. I try to contact RockAuto to avail and even emailed them, no response. They asked in a questionnaire if it is an item I could repair and the cost of repair. To my surprise I NEVER HEARD BACK, It cost $600 bucks to have the shop go back in and replace a DEFECTIVE fuel pressure regulator. I am always looking for a great deal on auto parts but to not get back to your customer. Shame on you RockAuto!
I order a part from rock auto I install the part, two weeks later it broke. I called rock auto we done the return paper work. I had to order another one then I have to send the broken back. So they send me a email for a return shipping label, I don't have a printer I always send my stuff to staples then I can go ther and print it off. BUT WAIT I CAN'T SEND IT I CAN SEND EVERYTHING ELSE BUT NOT ROCK AUTO WHY WHO NO'S. SO I HAVE TO BUY A PRINTER TO PRINT MY SHIPPING LABELS. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY AGAIN FROM THIS DUMP!
Buyer Beware! I order parts for my vehicle had it shipped to my mechanic, when it wasn't delivered - to the wrong address in the hood; after a long chase it was returned to rockauto - where my troubles began, My refund was never issued, i disputed the charge and the double charge to my account. With my dispute in action, the communication was bountiful, i was instructed to remove my dispute a refund would be issued in 4 business days. Silly me! I did as instructed, then promptly informed that since it was dispute there is a 60 day hold on all dispute! I forward the previous email, all communication ceased. I called the *******376 where the conveniently make it so that you cannot speak to anyone, pretend to accept a message. You can go down the roster and leave a message for all to no avail. You can report them to all the powers that be, but your money and time will be consumed in the proverbial black hole, the best thing to do, is buy from somewhere else. These crooks should be left alone. Prices look good, but you're gambling, when it goes wrong, you will pay. Choose someone else.
They sent me the wrong part. Now to return it, I have to pay for the shipping cost which is the same cost as the part I'm trying to return. So there is no point. Will never go through rockauto again.
First - Rock Auto will never answer a phone call or an email. So you better know exactly what you need. I ordered a set of new head lamp assemblies. Rock Auto was not my least expensive option by a long ways. The head lamp assembly was to have arrived five days ago. When they finally arrived, one had a broken mountaining bracket that could not be replaced. I had to pay to send the other one from the set back. Yes, even though they were sold as a kit. Rock auto also blocked all tracking of my package and put so many restrictions on FedEx that when the delay became evident (as in the package did not show up) I was unable to redirect the package. But bottom line, the quality of the head lamps were bottom of the line. The weight of them, compared to my OEM was about half. THey also came with no bulbs. WTF. I've replaced headlamp assemblies in a Toyota Highlander and Subaru Outback. I had no idea such poor quality headlamps were even manufactured. These cost twice what the Toyota and the Subaru assemblies cost. Again repeat - you will get zero help from Rock Auto, the products are poor quality and you best be very patient and be willing to pay to ship back their errors.
RockAuto sent me the wrong part and then charged me to send it back by not refunding me the shipping charges I paid to get it. Not very good business, and their customer service really sucks.
This has to be the worst auto parts place in the world to deal with you can't talk to anybody nearly impossible to return anything to him they just threw the worst stay away from RockAuto
I ordered a rebuild on my toyota MAS. It didn't work... sent it back... they replaced it & it still didn't work. Now. They will not answer my emails. NOTHING from 4 inquires over 2 weeks.
I ordered a fuel filter but it did not fit, I actually IMMEDIATELY stated it was the wrong one, they ignored me and sent it anyway. I sent it back stated I wanted a refund, they refused, kept my money and put it back in their system. SCUMBAG CRIMINALS AVOID!
Do not I repeat DO NOT use Rock Auto they are CROOKS they will charge you for shipping and you will NOT receive your order for four or five days and there will be nothing you can do cause they don't have customer service so you can't get your money back
This company is the worst! They sent me the incorrect part and to add insult to injury, they want me to pay for the shipping back to them! Unbelievable! This is for my work van and now the back door will have no latch because they did not send the right part! JUST AS BAD AS THAT- THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR SHIPPING BACK and THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM WITH- It Must BE Done Strictly By Internet! Horrible Company! It USED TO BE GOOD- NO LONGER A GOOD COMPANY FOR ME TO DO ANY BUYING FROM!
Rockauto is a waste of time. The only quality parts you can get from them are usually found far cheaper elsewhere. The rest of what they sell is junk. And when you invariably wind up with a problem with the junk they sell, they do not stand behind any of the warranties and love to charge you for shipping despite the fact that it's their scewup or their junk that's at fault. And speaking of shipping, they love to rip you off with their multiple shipping fees that often rival the cost of the parts being shipped - typical middleman scam artists.
Case in point - I just refused a shipment from them that was supposed to take 3 days to get delivered. It sat in their "partner facility's" warehouse for three days before being shipped and showed up 4 days after it was supposed to. To add insult, I got an email 7 hours after I placed the order that told me it shipped out - but tracking clearly indicated otherwise. The customer got tired of waiting and picked up his car. I was charged $151 for the parts but only credited $121. No apologies. And they refused to honor their "we cover the shipping costs if we make a mistake" written policy. Scumbag company.
