I had issues with my out of warranty ring cam camera. The tech guy, Jeff worked with me for about an hour. He determined the camera was faulty. They are not only sending me a new camera but reimbursement to have handyman reinstall, credit for my monitoring fee for the rest of this year and credit a full for next year. I've never had a technology company make me so happy. I'm a fan of Ring for life
I keep getting the same replies like a loop. Same msg about my value. They send a code, I respond with code MAC ID and photos. Three times I've sent and then it starts all over again. It has been a month now, what gives?
Having doorbell powered by ac the battery still discharges.
Most times the doorbell rings and person has long gone by the time you get video up,
Security screws easily dropped and/or lost.
Screw terminal for ac power garbage.
I would never recommend ring to anybody. Cameras go offline randomly. Then you must crawl up to the camera's location and push the button to pair it again. Total BS!
I've tried increasing my Wi-Fi signal to each camera, and they still disconnect randomly. Aggravation galore! Total garbage!
Since installing their prototype, it's had a number of Boy Scouts on Bob a job stopped by police, a number of people who wanted to ask for directions arrested on suspicion of some invented crime that was never going to happen, even my own friends calling for a coffee were identified as intruders and spoken to by police and now it's lost me all my friends, thanks a bunch ring.com
Ring only gives you a one year warranty on their products and when that year is up their products will begin to fail and they will not replaces it for free they will want you to pay for another one and then another one.So BBW buy beware.I recommend finding a company that's going to stand behind their products and merchandise and not to waste your hard earned money with Ring
This company and its equipment are horrible. The ring doorbell camera gets fogged up and cloudy most of the time. I can no longer self monitor as fully described as an option in its detailed options page on the web. This is no longer the case without any notification and that they are attempting to charge me a minimum of $10 a month. I refuse to work with the ethics of companies that have evolved to today's standards. I have turned off my system as it is useless to me at this point because I can't review anything without paying them money. This is not the product and the terms that I purchased under. I will be trashing this company to anybody and everybody that I possibly can. Thank God for Facebook marketplace because I will have this sold and out of my home with In the week.
Well If you use their email support it could be 4 or 5. No ownership ask same questions over and over. How scrappy is the product if one guy can't fix it? Even if it tales 3 or 4 days working with the same guy inspires confidence.
Stay away this support model can't possibly be endorsed by a sound Management Team.
I stopped using Ring in May. This company auto drafted a payment for a year without any communication that they were going to do that. When I called to get my money back, they prorated it. Prorated for nothing they could see the device was inactive. No email or commu inaction that the were going to auto renew. This company will do anything to make a buck. If you want transparent billing practices better run from Ring.
Ive have 2 ring products with 2 recording services but they've charged me for 3 recordings. Still Waiting on refund. Webchat waits are long and then involves explaining problem over and over resulting in getting cut off While they look up details.
I purchased a Ring Doorbell 1 year and 20 days ago. Today unit just died. Contacted 'customer service' and they ran me thru the troubleshooting paces for almost an hour. After which, they referred me to their 'Neighbor Advocate'. After much run around, they told me they could offer me a 'discount' on a new one but that was the best they would do. I 'had' 1 ring doorbell (with full subscription) and 2 flood cameras. I told them they would be losing me as a customer to which they responded, 'well we are a business and that's the best we can do'. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Nest here I come...
Buyer beware there is a reason Shark Tank did not jump on this the company has a million excuses as to why i have difficulty with two units at separate properties. It's now ready for 2018 at all Kandice must be very busy i invite her to call me

After buying 9 Ring cameras and 5 of their solar panels not to mention 9 extra batteries, I am unable to contact a single English speaking customer service representative in the United States! All I want to ask is why they sent me the incorrect color.
Additionally why do my cameras arbitrarily go completely black? How is it that a person can walk up to my door and the camera doesn't even record it? Isn't that the entire reason we buy these things? Fully charged, solor connected, all settings are correct for frequent 120 seconds recording with full preview and I get nothing! Yesterday it recorded fine…I think but now I wonder just how much is not being recorded
The alarm gos off ring don't notify anyone they charged for protection plan when there junk go bad but won't honor it if you want security get at or someone who is honest rung is neither honest or reliable
Ring is a useless security system. It constantly goes off line and will not reset. Tough to reset when 5000 miles away! All other non ring devices including Xiaomi, continue to work including one 6 inches away from the ring camera and another 20 feet further away from the wifi router. Night vision is very inferior to cheaper Xiaomi cameras. Time for a total change, will junk all the ring products
After reading other reviews I found Bilan's email and contacted him directly. He put me in contact with Logan who took care of my problem immediately. Today I got a follow up call to make sure my problem was resolved.

All video recording during the 30 days trial period are automatically erased, with zero backup, available to clients even if a yearly subscription starts within less than 24 hours, after the trial period.
Also, why bother spending $300 after taxes for a security light camera which can't even allow users to download, store of send any recorded events.
Furthermore, the camera will have to be trashed, if any LED bulbs have to be replaced, a very basic capability of any security light LED or incandescent lights. Maintenance fees per camera makes absolutely no financial sense.
Much less expensive security cameras with SD cards, which could store terabytes of video for 1 year+, and could be easily incorporated to an alarm system for a fraction of the price from Amazon. Ring products and services are not worth your money.
Too much hype for what's worth.
I have 2 solar outdoor cameras, losing connection every few days. I am sick and tired of going up the ladder removing screw and resetting and still does not work, I have to spend at least 30 minutes on each camera to have it relink. Ring sucks, please do yourself spend 600 dollars and find wired security camera like Lorex and run wires and save recording locally. Ring is a joke, now they want me to purchase wifi extender even though I have 3 wired WIFI Routers within 15 feet from cameras. We need to file a class action law suit against Ring.
I bought Ring Door Bell Pro in 2017, it worked for less than 2 years but after that, their app started giving problems. I called multiple times to their customer service but could not troubleshoot issue ('System is upgrading and can not help you' excuses). Finally, they claimed that motion detector is broken! (beyond my understanding, how motion detector breaks by just hanging on the wall). Exactly after 2.5 years this device became completely inoperable. I talked to supervisor Brendon and he said that they can stand by product only for a year as their warranty is for only one year. He offered me 35% discount for next ring purchase. I said - you fooled me once, do you think I will be fooled again?
If you like to waste your money, go for it - I don't.
These guys have the worst system possible to avoid serving their customers. Their system had a major crash a couple of weeks ago. Since then, the Windows app won't work and when trying to reinstall it, the android and iphone apps linked to my account are all rejecting any login attempt. When you call for help, they ask you to log in and get a unique "PIN" to get help. How stupid is that? Can't log in? Too bad, find a way and get that number. No matter what option you try on their automated call avoidance system, you get this snotty voice sending you in circles. Why did I end up with 15 of those units. May sell them on FB Marketplace as recycling junk. They have grown too big and now dont give a rodent's posterior about customers. They have sufficient revenue to lose anyone who has a problem as more will sign up. Don't bother. Look elsewhere.
Answer: Most annoying product ever. Doesn't work but almost does. This makes you constantly fool with it thinking you maybe possibly actually got it to do something similar to what they advertise. But in the end you will be back to square one with a pricey piece of crap! Then after hrs of listening to customer services b. S. you realize you've been had. But it doesn't end there. You end up on sites like this trying to help others from making the same mistake. And trying to figure out when this hell will end!
Answer: It does not work the way it is presented on T. V. The inability to immediately respond "LIVE" to an event renders it useless.
Ring has a rating of 1.3 stars from 773 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Ring most frequently mention customer service, door bell and live view. Ring ranks 166th among Home Security sites.
