I really like my Ring doorbell but one day it stopped working on my phone. I had to reinstall it and paid for the video play storage 30 dollars for one year. I wanted to talk to a person about my account to check if it had been a year before I just reinstalled and if I had a credit for the video play.
Called twice on hold for over 20 minutes,
Tried the chat but no one could talk to me for 30 minutes I just do have the time or patients for that sent 2 emails have yet to get a response they need to work on their customer service
I called for technical support. I reached someone. I am not sure that he knew what he was doing. But, finally, we finished trouble shooting. He said that I should hold on and he would look into a warranty because he couldnt get the device to work. His name was James. When he didnt call back, and he should have, I ordered another call. It was made for 10 and the call came in at 10:05. The person's name was Vivienne. There wasnt an answer. Finally, she disconnected. The next available time for me to speak is 11:30 p.m. I am not going to wait another 1.5 hours, just to possibly get hung up on again. I am really disappointed by the customer service. I think that the product is good. I think that the tech support doesnt stand up to the product.

Placed an order online for the Ring Security Floodlight on 11/28/20. I added it to the cart and checked out—no problem. They took my money—no problem. When I called on 12/1/20 to follow up, I was told that it was out of stock and I wouldn't receive it until sometime in January 2021. The system should not even allow an out of stock item to be added to the cart. They refused to cancel my order and refund my money. This is a rip-off, pure and simple. They should be sued and shut down for scamming people out of money.

I just bought 3 battery camera, and 1 Doors Bell 2.
When trying to do anything in the app, nothing happens except the busy/working blue ring! That's if the app load at all! I've got the Top Sectrum Internet, so I know that's not the problem.
My WiFi and Cell Signal 'Sprint' are both strong.

I ordered a ring dash cam in May with November 3 delivery date……still no product and no one returns emails or calls. Terrible customer service do not trust then

If you don't take their packages which is a monthly fee your camera becomes inoperable no picture whatsoever can't use the self contain what a waste of money should have did my research
First Ring worked good for about 5 months, till the flood light camera took on water, Really?
The replacement Ring, which probably was a Refurbished one. After 3-4 months only connects when it wants. I have 2 routers, and a WiFi exstender. Even moved exstender 3 feet under Ring. Signal strength is 25, which Ring says "Your RSSI reading of -25 is better than most, indicating only mild Wi-Fi interference at your Floodlight Cam.
Reading 25 right now, but is offline.
Their sending me another refreb, 3rd one, Last Chance Ring! Guess if the 3rd one doesn't work, $300 lesson. Because it'll go straight in the trash.
Update! Ring has offered to refund all of my money! Amazing, I am thankful they are trying to accommodate me. I will let you know when I receive the refund
Paid quite a bit $$ for exterior these cameras. They go off at all hours of the night when a moth flys in front them, laggy takes forever to connect, low resolution (720) when you consider Cameras have 2k 4K and 1080 today. Have called customer support and they keep telling me to try the same thing, with no success. I asked them to return my money and after several rough phone calls I was told I was getting a call from the legal team!
I also reached out to Intellihome to get e refund, they are ignoring me.
We have 9 camers and 16 door/window sensors along with a motion sensor and solar panels.
We pay for the yearly subscription that gives replacement on any and all devices. We are having issues with one of our cameras and we seem to be getting the run a around. The camera imagine is fuzzy and you cannot make out the imagine of a person. We sat on the phone with the very rude representative for over an hour getting every non-related answer they could find. Finally we got them to replace our camera. When they sent the camera we also told them the solar panel wasn't charging the camera anymore and to replace that as well.
We received the camera,but not the solar panel. Now we cannot charge the camera and was told to"sell it " and use the money to get a new panel. That's bs. Now we have been on the phone for another hour trying to get the panel replaced. Being told we would get a call back for the last 2 days. This is ridiculous.
I installed it, worked for 20 days. After spending 15 hours or more on the phone with their technical support and receiving 2 replacements and 2 chime pros NOT 1 OF THEM WORK! Do not waste your time and money on this faulty product!

In the middle of writing a review the phone rang and my unfinished follow up review disappeared.
I was saying that I found out WHY abd How my camera order was cancelled twice by RING.The representative stated that a "machine" processes the otders. It was something to do with my payment.
I asked if a human processed any part of the order and the answer was "NO". Since it was a macbine processing orders, the machine was not programmed to accept American Express Credit Cards. The only solution. If anyone has had an American Express Credit Card accepted by RING please let me know. However, the reps at RING did NOTHING to save the order. I have not reordered and am looking for a new security company
Look for something else. I bought several ring products and put them in several locations with different wifi speeds. Ring is terrible on all of them. If someone rings the doorbell by the time the system connects the person has left. Or it just wont connect period. I can not believe for the cost of this product how bad it is. I also have a dlink camera. It connect everytime. I have called ring on multiple occassions and they just ask me to trouble shoot but i'm confident the problem is their server. Just dont buy this find something else save the agrivation! Nothing more than a scam to get the monthy revenue.
Overall the worst online order experience in ten years. They did not deliver and don't even assist via their online support. Stay away if you want customer support and a reliable delivery service.
When I received my ring door bell camera (as a gift) nothing in the directions said this was a $$$$ subscription service! These people know nothing ( or care about your privacy). Every so many months you have to call them to release a server code. All they are doing, is trying to get money out of you. I don't know why Ring needs your email address. You are monitoring this system, not Ring. RING IS NOTHING BUT A RIPPOFF!
It seems whenever I don't need the system -- cameras all work, i can download video, no issue. When I really need to see the system or get on to pull video --- error message -- 'No internet connection' What? Why is my browser working? Why is my mail coming in? Then they send me a code because they don't recognize me logging in from the only friggin computer I've ever used for RING. I try to log in, I get the no internet connection error. They I get 'sorry too many incorrect logins, now you have to wait 24hrs to try again'. EFF OFF Ring. Not worth the monthly fee. Or maybe increase it just a tad so you can hire some F*&$*&ng Support.
I had a ring doorbell. It sucked. The picture was blurry, I had major problems with their tech support setting it up and working with me on the blurryness. They finally sent me out another after a few weeks. Same issue. Then they sent me out another where the doorbell button did not work. Three months later I purchased a Nest and I love it. I wasted so much time with Ring. They are horrible. My advise to you if your considering purchasing a ring doorbell. STOP! Dont. Get a Nest or another one a Nest, Geeni, or Notifi, my family and friends have the other ones and love it. I know of two other people who had camera problems/issues with Ring. Hope this helps.
Had for 3 weeks did every thing as intended. Some one rings bell an no video no live view. It seems they whant you keep buying wifi extenders an say it your wifi provider. Every thing wifi works in the house as it should never any problems. An yes moved the roughtor next to the ring. Save your money!
If a crime is committed. Your subscription is on up to date. You won't be able to review the video. The video would be consider lost. My opinion is they do it this way so you can continue to pay. I think customers that pay should be untitled to it no matter the situation. A CRIME IS MADE and recorded. It should be avaliable for customer and LAW OFFICIAL.
In early 2017, Ring security cameras were worth buying. Customer service was excellent. No longer. I will never purchase a ring anymore although in the beginning, I used to be a big promoter. Finding a specific time video means you have to keep scrolling for 5 minutes, then when you star the event, your star event doesn't show it. Then you call customer service, and you hear music for 15 minutes before a human answers. Whereas the human answering used to be eloquent, awak, customer oriented and knowledgable, now you get a sleppy, may be drugged person who doesn't speak coherently and puts you on hold 5 times and every solution means more scrolling for you and still no solution. He can't even send an email to your account and then call gets disconnected! WOW, 40 minutes on the phone, irritated, no solution, and disgusted with Ring's lack of capability and awful customer service. EEEEK

Answer: Most annoying product ever. Doesn't work but almost does. This makes you constantly fool with it thinking you maybe possibly actually got it to do something similar to what they advertise. But in the end you will be back to square one with a pricey piece of crap! Then after hrs of listening to customer services b. S. you realize you've been had. But it doesn't end there. You end up on sites like this trying to help others from making the same mistake. And trying to figure out when this hell will end!
Answer: It does not work the way it is presented on T. V. The inability to immediately respond "LIVE" to an event renders it useless.
