I feel foolish. I didn't realize I wasn't booking through the hotel, And paid quite a bit more than necessary. And that my reservation was nonrefundable.
The first time I booked the reservation I put down the wrong date and had to cancel that one and put down the correct date and booked it again with the correct dates. Worked out very well.

Had a family issue, was preoccupied, it slipped my mind to cancel my reservation until the evening of. The reservation as I had to cancel my trip but it just went by me. Asked if they could help out, nope, wont be using you again, have a nice life.

I reserved and was confirmed for a King Deluxe room with a jetted tub at Red Roof Inn in Mount Holly New Jersey. Confirmation #R*******383. I was given a King Suite with a shower. They would not switch my room at the front desk as the Inn was totally booked. I was told because I booked through Reservation Counter, you made the mistake and there was nothing they would do to resolve it. Not sure I will be using your service ever again nor will I stay at Red Roof Inn again.

Answer: Trying to cancel a reservation, the rote voice said it did not recognize the phone number, even though it was the same phone I used to make the reservation. Then asked if the reservation confirmation number started with an R. I said No. It asked me several more times. I kept answering No. Then it told me to call the hotel for help and hung up. Called the hotel. They said they could not cancel since the reservation was made through a third-party company. That I would have to cancel through ReservationCounter. (Oh, by the way, I had tried to use the online Cancellation page - it doesn't work.) It was very difficult to get through to anybody and there were very long waits in between. I will never use this company again.
