I am not happy with a purchase that I made from a refrigerator rental center, which was damaged. The door seal is still after several months, I am waiting for them to fix it, but they do call me to make the payment for the refrigerator and the incredible Little professionalism of the employees and manager. This store is located in south 4 street Allentown PA.
I am currently renting from the central Ave store in st Petersburg. The lady who always answers the phone here is extremely rude and speaks with such unprofessionalism and has a huge attitude problem. From the very first day I called this store and wanted to rent. This store needs to act with care and be a bit professional, you're running a service! Good customer service is what you are supposed to do. Learn that skill
If I could give zero stars I would, mark my words rent a center, This is not over, how I was treated as a first time customer was absolutely disgusting and I will be going above and beyond to do something about it. Overall the company is great, but the managers in the retail stores not so great and that's going to take the company down in the long run, because nothing is being done.
They call to much if you'e one day late and call more than once a day. I have dealt with them several times and paid off my high priced merchandise. They are good if you need them, but boy do they worry you about your payment even if you're day late.
Purchased a lot from them n the past; so you would think they would appreciate me as a customer; not the case at all.it was a nightmare harrassing phone calls threats with coming to pick up the merchandise calls to my husbands job we couldn't wait until we didn't have to deal with them anymore. All I can say is Don't do it.
My experience with rent-a-center located in Atmore, Alabama was one of my greatest experiences. Great customer service and punctual delivery.
I have been along time renter now with RAC on Clarksville st in Paris Tx.The last couple of months have been difficult for me, especially with all of sudden being unemployed.Needless to say Vanessa's crew, Jazz and Brandon reminded of an option i had by purchasing the extra benefits option for $3.99.It has and they have helped me tremendously.I won't go into exact details but I've got some breathing room now and i got to keep my items.One last thing,i ended up with 2 flat tires on my Nakto, limped it over to RAC where Brandon met me,looked at the situation, put in a work order to fix my ride and promptly let me go home on another.Those young men and women at our RAC are freaking 5 star. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area, Justin (store manager) is such a great guy, we have bought a few things off of him over the last couple years, after my experience with a different rent-a-center I didn't think I would ever buy from them again! Until we meant him, hopefully he never leaves! Thank you Justin for ALL your help.

I have been a long term customer with rent a center and have had tremendous help from Rachel at our local rent a center in Huber Heights. However, I started having issues with some equipment I have in contract with and had to deal with Nick when I called into the store. Every encounter I've had with Nick during this rental path I am on he has always been aggressive, rude, and miserable. To the extreme I predominantly only deal with Rachel but was unable to today. He was unsympathetic to my issues and got upset and not seeming to be helpful. Seeing we were conflicting we requested to speak with Rachel or anyone besides him and he refused. We had to disconnect the call and call back. We spoke with Rachel who assisted us with our issue. Nick has always been a non-people person ask for Rachel. Not sure his role in the company but he isn't very professional.
I have been with renter center over fifteen years or more, Never ever had of my furniture repossess... Quality furniture affordable prices don't forget about the delivery crew they are one-time and expeditiously. I only do business with the Mount Meigs store in Montgomery, Al
I JUST TRIED TO RENT A LIFT RECLINER, FOR MY MOTHER, AND WAS DENIED...THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME! IF I COULD RATE A ZERO, YOU BEST BELIEVE THAT WOULD BE MY RATING! THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN...
My RAC will harass me on the day that payment is due. They will call, text, email and even drive to my house to leave a notice on my door yet again reminding me of my payment due that day...I have never missed a payment and still they harass me all day long. It's completely ridiculous considering it's not even late.
Rent a center in pa ripped me off 160.00 Dollar's and it's been four months this day I've been fighting to get my money and when I call Steve can't talk to me he's busy or he's not there this is really sad how they screw people over will never deal with pa rent a center again I bought a TV off of them and they even took my last payment n they said they stopped it because they we're going to take that money and put on the TV and credit me the rest and still nothing
The manager in Johnson City, Tn. Is very unprofessional. Cussing from his office when my husband went down there. While he was in store he was fine but when my husband came in without him knowing was back there cussing. Would never rent from him. He wants to say he will call the police. To me very unprofessional. With all the bad reviews he has I just wonder how he still has a job.
I have got a lot of stuff from the rent a center in newton Nc and had a tv to brake was told I was getting a new will got an old one that was broken and they will not replace it now and the manager hund up the phone on me so I will never go back to them again
Only use them if you literally don't have any other option. I myself needed a bedroom set for my daughter and a dining room table so we could eat at the table together and stop eating in the living room. My payments for both are $112 bi-weekly. Iv almost been paying that for a year and still don't see the light at the end of the tunnel. My daughters bedroom night stand has a huge missing piece and at the time I was so desperate and only got a half of payment off of ONE time. Now looking at the whole situation, I would have never settled. Especially because of all my hard earned money going into this and a corner of the table is gone. Doesn't quite do justice. Anyways DONT GO THIS ROUTE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO.
I have purchased quite a few items from rentacenter and I have aid them off. But I have had problems with them. I bought a refrigerator from them that kept breaking down. The most recent thing is a bunk bed for my kids. I have been making payments on this bunk bed for months when the bed doesn't even have all the pieces. I have been trying to get them to come back out to stack the bunk bed for months only to find out that they don't even have the ladder or the screws to the bunk bed. This is the rentacenter in Redlands, CA. But Scott the manager harasses me every week for payment on a bunk bed that does not have all the proper pieces. Then they tell me that they don't even know who delivered the bed. They just keep giving me the run a around everytime I call about them stacking these beds correctly and bringing the pieces. I am very upset with rentacenter and disappointed with them. I do not recommend!
The dryer I was buying was 13 days late I pay every 2 weeks the timer didn't work they never fixed it but they sure came got it I'll never buy from the Lafayette store again ever...I'll buy from arrons

This company well the rent a center on Farmington ave in Hartford Ct will lie about timing have you wait to then also Lie about calling other rental companies you have been with to ask about your credit with them. Aarons denied about giving them the any info they asked for and then told me a Lie..
