I was inquiring about a property on Alexis lake. I emailed the owner broker Court Smith who answered a few questions but since I am at distance and cannot just go see property I needed him to send all requested info via email. He suddenly got quite lazy with responses like
" I don't know what the log is across the property" and
" I don't know if they would accept assessed value"
I informed him that it was his responsibility to provide a client with the requested info and that he should perhaps make a call to find out what that survey stick with flagging on the property meant... and to perhaps make a call to the older couple and let them know there was a couple interested in the off grid cabin and to ask them if they would accept assessed value and not supply me with those disrespectful lazy answers... considering that last year he was trying to sell the same house for 5 months and this year he has been trying for 4 months. House on market for 116 days this year 2020 when we started talking.
Never had a realtor respond like that especially when their commission is their wage.
Unacceptable behavior. If I had an employee like that I would fire him if I found that sort of thing out.
This house is empty... couple is old and retired for over a decade, but the house is not a short distance from the office so I think he is lazy and doesn't want to put any effort into that. Unbelievable, especially for the owner/broker of a Remax location. I would not use their service ever and probably will never use Remax again

Re/Max sold a house to a young military couple and covered up all the flaws. Whether Re/Max or the owner covered it up, doesn't matter Re/Max should have caught these flaws or the inspector responsible for approving. At the bottom of the door there is a metal strip which was loose when lifted up there was wood rot. Someone prior to the couple moving in, removed the intake filter from the a/c heater unit and not knowing that when it was time to change it 3 months later, there was no filter. This caused dust, lint, etc. to accumulate behind the vent all the way up to the unit. Now they must check the unit to see what damage has been done to the coils, motor, etc. The handle to the freezer door must have been stuck on with super glue as it is now hanging by hairs. The kitchen laminate floors are starting to curl at the ends. Am so disgusted with Re/Max. They sold this house during the summer of 2022 and with housing prices they could have cared less what damage there was. If the not owner than the realtor knew of this house being held together with tape, glue whatever. Have talked with neighbors in the vicinity and apparently the owner didn't bother to keep the house up much less take care of what befallen it. Watch out for these realtors they'll try to sell you a house make of sticks or straw.
Imagine finding the perfect home, offering exactly the price that is asked, complying to the conditions brought forward by the sellers broker, only to be dragged along for FIVE days, with no explanation. That happened to my family. NEVER did I expect to be treated with a more disingenuous, unprofessional broker, as I did with Jack McVicker, Re/Max Fitzpatrick Team in Middletown, R.I. Even after Jack conducted a home inspection, we still didn't get a phone call that our offer hadn't been accepted.
Buyers and sellers beware he is not a reputable person; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with Remax and felt compelled to share my thoughts to caution others. I have been receiving persistent and harassing phone calls from Remax agents despite clearly informing them that they have the wrong number. This behavior is not only invasive but also completely unprofessional.
On multiple occasions, I asked the agents, whose numbers are *******638 and *******991, to stop calling me as they had the wrong person. Unfortunately, my requests fell on deaf ears, and the situation escalated to the point where I was subjected to name-calling and derogatory comments during a phone conversation.
What is particularly alarming is that my children were present and overheard the entire conversation. Such an invasion of privacy and unprofessional conduct from individuals identifying themselves as Remax agents is entirely unacceptable. I never provided my number to Remax, yet their agents continue to harass me.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with Remax. No one should have to endure such unprofessionalism and disrespect, especially from individuals representing a reputable company. The fact that Remax agents resorted to insults after being informed of the wrong number is beyond comprehension.
I want to emphasize that I would never consider utilizing Remax for any real estate needs based on this appalling experience. I am determined to share my story across social media platforms to alert others about the unprofessional conduct exhibited by Remax agents. No one should have to tolerate harassment from a real estate company or its affiliates.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering Remax for their real estate needs to think twice. The behavior I have experienced is a clear indication of a lack of professionalism and respect within the organization. There are many other reputable real estate companies out there, and I encourage individuals to explore alternative options to avoid the distressing experience I have had with Remax.
We went to look at a property listed with Dylan McLeod in April. We met the seller and he was very honest and knowledgeable about the history of the property. We put in an almost full offer immediately. Dylan never sent our offer to the seller because I believe he stood to make money on the other, lower offer currently under consideration. I later found out from the seller that this other offer was the exact same amount Dylan told him that he would get out of the home. We reached out to the seller to ask if he received our offer the next day. He had not. He then called Dylan and got the run-around. Finally, our offer was put through and accepted. The seller had health issues and told Dylan several times that he would need 30 days after closing to pay for movers and get his stuff out. Dylan never put that in the contract. We never discussed it with the seller and assumed he knew that he had to be out. Dylan never even showed up to the closing to assist the seller or had much contact with him after listing the property. Thank God I purchased the property because the investor who I believe was giving Dylan a kickback for the lower offer would have most likely kicked the seller out, keeping all of his personal property. I think this is criminal and have contacted the state real estate commission. Please, if you are reading this, do not do business with Remax or Dylan. We have to stand up for American values and stop letting companies get away with saying each office is independently owned and operated. Remax is as much to blame as Dylan in my eyes. Dylan made $12,600 in commission on this deal. If that is as aggravating to you as it is to me, please stand with me and do not use Remax or Dylan. I am stuck paying the mortgage until the seller vacates the property and Dylan will not return my calls.
My son and daughter and law rented a house from Re/Max in Bossier city Louisiana. After a years lease they bought a house. They gave a months notice, myself and the kids cleaned the house and left it in good condition. After a couple of weeks they received a check of 185.00 dollars from a deposit of $995 and itimized list of trumped up charges. They contacted Nicole Hr$#*!a at Re/Max and she was rude, and unconcerned. Please please to any and everyone stay away from RE/Max in Shreveport, Bossier Louisiana. They make up invoices with with friends to keep your deposit.
Adam Gross is the best realtor I've dealt with. I was in a tough situation Adam met me on a Sunday at 6pm and we close in 2 weeks I would highly recommend Remax for a smooth and pleasant experience
Gary Kirkpatrick was very rude and late didn't return phone calls or emails. Find another agent. I've delt with Remax before with no problem but this agent was terrible.
Remax canada sold me house, said it has legal suite, after I bought I realized it is not. I complained, I got letter from lawyer says I should have verified myself before buying

This Real Estate Company Is A Scam They I qualified For Every thing that was on the list and they denied my application talking about the amount of money I had in the bank what does the amount of money in my bank account have to do with how much I make I make enough money to afford the home they're scamming just to get the application fee money
Mr. Rajinder Arora took advantage of our situation and made money out of it. Very money minded person. BEWARE!
Please avoid Emanuelle Duranceau at all costs.
She is the worst ever. She also insulted me on a private Facebook group.
She is far from being professional.
I came across this agent that was near me. Then I found out real quick how these people treat others behind the scenes. See attached photo.
Re/Max has good and bad like all companies. My main Agent is lovely and the Agent she provided me with to buy a property is lovely. Bill or William Alders is a unethical. Money hungry scammer. I first spoke to Bill on the phone about a property on a lake he was selling. He did not give me much info. When I called back to ask a question he abruptly stated we can talk more when you want to put in an offer. So I got myself a good agent who was recommended she pulled all the documents for me. I set out on a 3 hour drive to go look at the place. I arrived with my father and started to look at it and video to show my husband. Ready to put in an offer that morning. As we were walking the neighbours said that property is sold. I immediately emailed my agent. She responded no standing offerers and Bill was suppose to let me know. They closed a deal with out my agent late the Friday night around 11pm. Found out it sold for more then the listing price. I say that Bill is a snake and not an honest agent. STAY Clear Bill alders remax... https://www.realtor.ca/agent/*******/bill-albers-258-seymour-street-kamloops-bc-kamloops-british-columbia-v2c2e5
Our realtor has been working with a Remax Realtor for weeks trying to complete the close on our house. It's 3 weeks after our close but we are still wrestling with the buyer's realtor to get our funds. We were sent an initial check that was only a portion of the funds. They failed to get a certification for school taxes so withheld almost 5k to pay those. The school taxes had already been paid though, and two documents showing paid were provided. The main concern, and reason I would not recommend using Regina LaBricciosa is because of her unresponsiveness. Our realtor has sent multiple emails and left several voicemail messages but does not get a response. We finally received a one sentence reply stating funds would be sent but when the check arrived, it is not the correct amount. The HUD document is clear on what the realtor withheld but she decided to send a different amount. We are once again getting no response from the realtor and find them completely unprofessional or inept, we aren't sure which.
Terrible, terrible, company that gives 0 $#*!s about you. The house that we rented has squirrels in the roof which they were well aware of prior to us renting it. We asked them to fix this months before we moved in and now 3 months into renting the problem is still unsolved. We've had 3 different washing machines now (first two broke and the third one they gave us is $#*!ty and gross). Oh and when we opened the first one it was just filled with sewage water. There's mice and cockroaches, obviously the house isn't up to code. When they called pest control for us all they did was put traps in the kitchen and left, they claimed they would fix the squirrel problem said there was a hole in the roof but they still haven't done anything. The basement flooded shortly after we moved in, I don't even remember why with all these other $#*!ing problems. Toilets have trouble flushing time to time and some lights aren't working anymore. Heat was broken and it took 2 weeks for them to even come out and fix it, house was $#*!ing freezing. They also replaced our dishwasher recently cause it broke which took them a solid week and a half to get somebody out here yo even look at it.
But the absolute worst thing is there is 0 transparency. They won't let you contact the landlord ever to fix any of these problems you have to go through their portal which takes days to get anybody out to fix $#*!. The only solace we've had is this dude named Tom who works for them, he claims this doesn't happen with other houses. I wonder why they take so long to come out and fix $#*! if we're such a special case and I've come to the conclusion that it's because they don't give a $#*! about us. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM IF YOU CAN. If I had the means I would sue the $#*! out of these mother $#*!ers but I'm just some broke $#*! college kid and that's how they take advantage of you.
Answer: No a scam, total farce, wouldnt recommend them to a dog looking for a dog house.
