I came across this agent that was near me. Then I found out real quick how these people treat others behind the scenes. See attached photo.
I was inquiring about a property on Alexis lake. I emailed the owner broker Court Smith who answered a few questions but since I am at distance and cannot just go see property I needed him to send all requested info via email. He suddenly got quite lazy with responses like
" I don't know what the log is across the property" and
" I don't know if they would accept assessed value"
I informed him that it was his responsibility to provide a client with the requested info and that he should perhaps make a call to find out what that survey stick with flagging on the property meant... and to perhaps make a call to the older couple and let them know there was a couple interested in the off grid cabin and to ask them if they would accept assessed value and not supply me with those disrespectful lazy answers... considering that last year he was trying to sell the same house for 5 months and this year he has been trying for 4 months. House on market for 116 days this year 2020 when we started talking.
Never had a realtor respond like that especially when their commission is their wage.
Unacceptable behavior. If I had an employee like that I would fire him if I found that sort of thing out.
This house is empty... couple is old and retired for over a decade, but the house is not a short distance from the office so I think he is lazy and doesn't want to put any effort into that. Unbelievable, especially for the owner/broker of a Remax location. I would not use their service ever and probably will never use Remax again

Despite taking good care of a home we rented/leased from ReMax, advising them of potential issues that would harm the value of the house or potential for further damage or deterioration, we were made to feel as we had caused the problem resulting in them having to repair the issue on behalf of the owner, they indicated our lease would not be extended at the end of our lease, stating the owner was going to sell the house in the end. We moved and did our part to clean and then had professional cleaners come in to clean the whole house as well as carpet cleaners, all of which we paid for. They returned only 3/4 of the total deposit, listing 3 to 4 items generally that they said the house required to complete the process. We are initiating an appeal and specific info as to the items they discovered that needed attention.
In 2015 we hired a Remax team named "Team Thiessen" who are based in Okotoks. We have dealt with realtors before but have never experienced such incompetence and unethical behaviour as we did with Audrey and her team. Here are the facts:
1. Audrey did not collect deposits from our buyer despite the signing of the sales agreement three times with conditions waived all three times. This is a basic skill for any realtor.
2. Audrey convinced us to allow her to represent us and the buyer in order for us to get our deposits because this would lead to a "smoother transaction." Really what she meant was that she wanted double the commission and would do what-ever it took to secure the sale.
3. Audrey promised and guaranteed us, both verbally and in writing, that the buyer (who she did not collect deposit checks from three times in a row) would buy our house. Audrey also shared with us the buyers income and financial statements in order to convince us he had the money (this is so unethical). She did this in order for us to keep the potential transaction alive in hopes she would make double commission on our 2 million dollar home.
4. After we took legal action against Audrey and her team
Audrey conveniently erased all of her communications with the buyer which would have shed light on shady communications she had with him. She comes across as a sweet innocent Realtor but she is far from it.
5. In the end, all we wanted was our deposits owed but her legal team fought us for years which led us to give up. The moral of the story is: Even if you have a solid case against a Remax realtor, the Remax legal team will drag it out for years thereby escalating costs in hopes you too will give up.
Terrible. Totally unethical and worse was his 'bedside manor'. Will never deal with ReMax going forward. Nothing but a horrible taste in my mouth. Shame on you ReMax.
Re/Max has good and bad like all companies. My main Agent is lovely and the Agent she provided me with to buy a property is lovely. Bill or William Alders is a unethical. Money hungry scammer. I first spoke to Bill on the phone about a property on a lake he was selling. He did not give me much info. When I called back to ask a question he abruptly stated we can talk more when you want to put in an offer. So I got myself a good agent who was recommended she pulled all the documents for me. I set out on a 3 hour drive to go look at the place. I arrived with my father and started to look at it and video to show my husband. Ready to put in an offer that morning. As we were walking the neighbours said that property is sold. I immediately emailed my agent. She responded no standing offerers and Bill was suppose to let me know. They closed a deal with out my agent late the Friday night around 11pm. Found out it sold for more then the listing price. I say that Bill is a snake and not an honest agent. STAY Clear Bill alders remax... https://www.realtor.ca/agent/*******/bill-albers-258-seymour-street-kamloops-bc-kamloops-british-columbia-v2c2e5
ReMax is a good company but they need to work on staffing and actually hire licensed managers. One in particular is terrible and very disprespectful towards property owners as well as renters. Kelly Irvine in Campbell River B. C. ReMax is the worst I don't suggest letting this women near any property she is unlicensed and she is known to invade your property without notice. My family recently had to report her stealing a vehicle from the parking lot of our residence. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Bridget Pratt is phenomenal! She executed the cosmetic renovations needed to showcase & sell my house to the right people. She even solicited the services of her friend to make the lawn and setting more welcoming... after the disastrous experience I had with Wes & Jason from Hammer. No one has ever been more selfless in her efforts to please and truly put her client's interests first. I would hope all the Remax team genuinely cares and performs as she does... I believe Bridget is the exceptional realtor. Most realtors in Tuscaloosa are money hungry & fake.
The experience with this office with the must horrific experience I've ever had! I've bought and sold numerous properties have never encountered an organization so ruthless with no regard to humility! I asked the agent Rafique Uddin to notify when people were going to see the house because I still had all my person beglongs there. He never bothered to notify me, he even gave the pin to random people to go see it WITHOUT an agent. There were 2 offers made that he never bothered to present to me because he wanted to sell it to his family members for -30k less than listed. Once I uncovered the unethical and unprofessional actions I asked him to remove the listing! He continued to allow people to go to my house and went as far as harassing myself and my family! He even threatened our personal safety! I attempted to still be civil about the situation and reached out to the managing broker William Hitchcock who disregarded the situation entirely and never bothered to address my concerns! I had to get authorities and LARA involved! It's heartbreaking to think that someone you hire to help with your largest asset can be so cruel and evil! I wish I would never encounter this office!
Great company but just like Royal lepage -privacy is lacking. Be careful with the internet, don't put private sales, personal information ect on the internet for everyone to see. Also be aware of interest based neighborhoods like tourist towns, no one wants suburbs in a tourist town, rural area food or on a lake or on a mash. Don't just put up homes without making connections. Don't put personal information, addresses ect. Searchable online international. Use a password for recognized buyers, network, have interest, ethnic, faith based, tourist focused agents and network. Neighborhoods and commercial spaces are private, you don't have the right to post the online for all people, including for gin countries to see. Between the half's and have nots, if you have something extra, special, or expensive don't advertise it. (they are bringing in sometimes unwanted immigrants).
My son and daughter and law rented a house from Re/Max in Bossier city Louisiana. After a years lease they bought a house. They gave a months notice, myself and the kids cleaned the house and left it in good condition. After a couple of weeks they received a check of 185.00 dollars from a deposit of $995 and itimized list of trumped up charges. They contacted Nicole Hr$#*!a at Re/Max and she was rude, and unconcerned. Please please to any and everyone stay away from RE/Max in Shreveport, Bossier Louisiana. They make up invoices with with friends to keep your deposit.
Dear. Mrs. Corcoran,
I am writing as a concerned customer of Re/Max Fairlane Truro office. Recently my husband and I inquired about a house in the Tatamagouche area that is listed by one of your agents, Fran Grant. We are a young couple and this is our first experience with attempting to purchase our first home. Unfortunately, it is not going to work out for us at this moment, but we will be ready by end of summer. However, we are still very interested in the house and attempted to contact the owner in the event he was interested in renting or something along those lines. My husband shortly thereafter received a call from Fran Grant who was nothing but rude and conducted herself in the most unprofessional manner. Apparently she forbids us to contact the owner. I do understand that she is afraid she would lose her commission, and that would be unfortunate and not our intention, but it is pretty BOLD of her to believe she has the right to tell us who we can and cannot speak to. If we were doing something that was wrong (which we were not, this is hypothetical) perhaps she could take the approach of educator, perhaps explaining the etiquette of how things work when it comes to Real Estate and purchasing a home. I also understand it is not her job to educate us, but it is just standard customer service. These are very small towns and I believe we need to support each other the best we can, so why does she feel she needs to treat us in this manner? In the end, I just wanted you to know how she conducts herself and in the competitive Real Estate world I would think agents would do their best to work with the people in their area (i. E. Colchester County). I feel we are unfortunate to have encountered her, and I will be sure to spread the word in Tatamagouche that she is not a Real Estate agent people will want to deal with.
Jeff Kram with ReMax Realty was the worst experience I have ever gone through. Not only will he not lift a finger to help a seller but then he will sue his clients when you fire him. Jeff Kram with ReMax Realty did Not offer to take any pictures of my house for sale and the text description he put together was on the level of a 2nd grader, literally. It consisted of the words NEW NEW NEW to describe everything, very insightful which forced me to write my own text description of my home. He only used my personal pictures and never spent any time taking any thoughtful pictures of his own. He offered one Open House in 5 months despite my constant requests for more help. He then left for a month on a vacation and refused to answer calls, emails during this time. Every time I tried to reach him by phone he was busy playing with remote control cars or out drinking with friends and routinely said he would call back which rarely occurred. In one instance he claimed he scheduled an Open House but when I went by during the time, no one was there and the house was dark, I called him and he blamed his ReMax manager who he said forgot to schedule the Open House; when I asked him to schedule another he told me there were no Open House signs available for the next 5 weeks at his ReMax Realty office in Ukiah. I would suggest you find another Real Estate agent if you want to sell your house, ReMax Realty doesn't care how their agents act and tells sellers its up to them to control their ReMax real estate agent. I mean come on, you don't even care about your reputation. Poor, very very poor service and help.
If you are looking for property or an agent in a new area, check out remax.com. They have a great system for searching for properties and for qualifying Agents.
You will be put in touch with one agent that can help you through the process and not be shuffled around every time you do another search.
Great place to search.
Realtor, Emma Hansen listed her own property at 8109 Wentworth Ave. S. Bloomington, MN ******* in which she flipped. She purchased this property herself under her own company name (Real Deal Investment Solutions Inc.) which is registered in a different state. Do Realtors do this to hide their true identity? Not to mention she signed the disclosure alternatives so she doesn't have to list the improvements she made to the property or the problems she may of had to deal with. Does she not trust her own craftsmanship? Then she wants the buyer to be preapproved with her lender. And when she actually does find a buyer, does the buyer know that Emma will be their neighbor because Emma lives across the street. Doesn't this need to be disclosed to the future buyer? This situation does not make me warm and fuzzy. How about you?
Our realtor has been working with a Remax Realtor for weeks trying to complete the close on our house. It's 3 weeks after our close but we are still wrestling with the buyer's realtor to get our funds. We were sent an initial check that was only a portion of the funds. They failed to get a certification for school taxes so withheld almost 5k to pay those. The school taxes had already been paid though, and two documents showing paid were provided. The main concern, and reason I would not recommend using Regina LaBricciosa is because of her unresponsiveness. Our realtor has sent multiple emails and left several voicemail messages but does not get a response. We finally received a one sentence reply stating funds would be sent but when the check arrived, it is not the correct amount. The HUD document is clear on what the realtor withheld but she decided to send a different amount. We are once again getting no response from the realtor and find them completely unprofessional or inept, we aren't sure which.
Answer: No a scam, total farce, wouldnt recommend them to a dog looking for a dog house.
