Matt is very shady… shady… shady! He takes an investor to with him to list a property that is being sold bc the owner past and the kids have to sell for nursing home fees. So he was dual agent, we offered full price and his investor offered 1000$ more…. Hmmm how funny…. He never even listed the house on any sites for others to see, bc he knew it would bring a lot more offers. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Oh and did I say I had 2 other realtors try to get the house info from him and he told both he didn t have it ready.
Remax is falsely reporting important information about my home on its website. I have owned my home since 1997 but Remax is showing that it sold in 2020 which is clouding my title and causing me irreparable injury. I have reached out to them and sent tax documents and other proof that I own but they do nothing. Horrible company.
Remax India took *******+gst from me to make me their agent. They made false promises before getting the money and when they did not meet their commitment, i asked for refund and they refused. They are cheats, liars and frauds. Don't deal with them.
After reading all the reviews, I just realized mine is just one of them. My realtor Gin Lian Thang, I would say is incompetent. There were so much disastrous communication broke down. All his best own interest was to earn his best money skipping all our concerns of our unknowns. He just rather plays twist and turn where a simple conversation could have been resolved the the problem. He has too much rooms to improve seriously.
Great company but just like Royal lepage -privacy is lacking. Be careful with the internet, don't put private sales, personal information ect on the internet for everyone to see. Also be aware of interest based neighborhoods like tourist towns, no one wants suburbs in a tourist town, rural area food or on a lake or on a mash. Don't just put up homes without making connections. Don't put personal information, addresses ect. Searchable online international. Use a password for recognized buyers, network, have interest, ethnic, faith based, tourist focused agents and network. Neighborhoods and commercial spaces are private, you don't have the right to post the online for all people, including for gin countries to see. Between the half's and have nots, if you have something extra, special, or expensive don't advertise it. (they are bringing in sometimes unwanted immigrants).
We moved from California to Washington last fall. Jerrin was on top of it! He is honest, knowledgeable and works hard for you! We couldn't have gotten through the process without him!
Thank you for everything Jerrin!
Facts: We made an offer on a property, which was accepted. So, following the RE/MAX Buyers Guide, the next step was to pay for the inspection. There is no mention in that Guide or somewhere else about the possibility to lose the property at this point, and, as consequences, to lose the money on the inspection. My husband & I are new in New York and first buyers. We lost the property because someone made a better offer after we paid for the inspection. I'm wondering how much money we will lose that way? There is no law to protect consumers in New York State?
Bridget Pratt is phenomenal! She executed the cosmetic renovations needed to showcase & sell my house to the right people. She even solicited the services of her friend to make the lawn and setting more welcoming... after the disastrous experience I had with Wes & Jason from Hammer. No one has ever been more selfless in her efforts to please and truly put her client's interests first. I would hope all the Remax team genuinely cares and performs as she does... I believe Bridget is the exceptional realtor. Most realtors in Tuscaloosa are money hungry & fake.
If you are looking for property or an agent in a new area, check out remax.com. They have a great system for searching for properties and for qualifying Agents.
You will be put in touch with one agent that can help you through the process and not be shuffled around every time you do another search.
Great place to search.
Amanda Jackson, a realtor for RE/Max in Fair Oaks, Ca worked in cahoots with the seller to get me to purchase the worst home ever. She took advantage of the fact that I am a physically disabled, first-home buyer to sell me a rat-infested piece of garbage with a lousy foundation, no weatherization, nor a usable heating and cooling system. Then she had the nerve to pretend she was moving out of state. She only cares about taking your money. She's definitely on the highway to hell.
Contacted Remax Gozo from overseas as looking for rental property.
Jolene said there was little availability due to high demand.
Agent obviously wanted to make a quick money commission from fees paid by both myself and the landlord - she took advantage!
There was much availability / choice - agent lied to scare into making quick transaction. Was all about the money, not what was in the customers best interest.
Found something much cheaper and nicer with a different agent.
Would never trust Remax again!
I moved out of their condo because of how incompetent they were. The day after my move out. They sent an email saying they will withhold my full security deposit $1300 for just cleaning and a minor wall patch. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They are mean and a total rip off
In a day and time when people seem to just look out for themselves Cara Irvine is a Remax realtor that is quite the exception! Not only does she look out for the buyer but she also is honest and doesn't just say what someone wants to hear. For example, instead of saying a home is worth a lot more than it is worth just to get the listing, she will be honest and say what the value actually is based on the research she has done! She did this for a property that my family had for sale and we appreciated it so much! It helped us get the property sold quickly instead of it being on the market for a long period of time. We highly recommend her!
This has been a horrible experience with Re/ max. Both with dealing with Roma in the corporate level all the way down to the Re/ Max office In Lake Mary Florida off of primera blvd. Not one individual cares not even the broker Steven Baker, cares that there listing agents are committing fraud. They are feeling in dates on contracts that you do not know about or approve. Karen Arbutine and Steven Baker should be a shame if there selves. There is no code of Ethics going on with these two, not to mention corporate not caring either. I will never use Re/Mx ever and I will continue to let everyone know not to use them.
I hired Ashley Almeida out of east providence Rhode Island an she was horrible. All it was about for her was making a quick sale and she didn't listen to any of my ideas or what exactly I was looking for. Lastly she couldn't stop talking on her cell phone not a good way to conduct business! Fired her immediately
Despite taking good care of a home we rented/leased from ReMax, advising them of potential issues that would harm the value of the house or potential for further damage or deterioration, we were made to feel as we had caused the problem resulting in them having to repair the issue on behalf of the owner, they indicated our lease would not be extended at the end of our lease, stating the owner was going to sell the house in the end. We moved and did our part to clean and then had professional cleaners come in to clean the whole house as well as carpet cleaners, all of which we paid for. They returned only 3/4 of the total deposit, listing 3 to 4 items generally that they said the house required to complete the process. We are initiating an appeal and specific info as to the items they discovered that needed attention.
A realtor, let's call him Jack Miller, offers to finance you for 3. Years till your 3.year.finance.on. House you sold completes. Once you agree to the terms, you agree and know he's making 5% interest, equaling the amount of *******. Fair investment.,(House price at 125,000. AFter waiving the important step of having an inspection, you find out the house had been lowered to 112,000. Due to the poor condition of the house, terrible paint job, updates needed and old appliances. However I was never given this information. It was suppose to be disclosed. This is fraud plain and simple. I will be contacting the state board of realtors and national realty accociation. Here I thought the guy was a saint for financing me and he was just trying to make 25% commission! And was talking about God at. Closing. Huh!
Laurell is one of the best realtors in Colorado.
She is an expert and has a ton of experience. Laurell helped us find our first time house a couple weeks ago. The process was super smooth. Her expertise is incredible. She even went above and beyond and helped us with moving. Who does that? Laurell Richey! Highly recommended.
What a rude man. I have posted about selling my house in the Highlands and this dog faced pony soldier told buyers to beware because I haven't listed with a realtor. Money hungry unethical clown. LISTERS BEWARE! What a clown! I wouldn't list a dog house with him.
Greg Harmon wrote on my timeline listing:
"In all my years of buying real estate, any seller taking this position is a red flag. Buyer beware."
Very suspicious transactions from this office. I put an offer in on a house on 18th Street. Was listed for $335,000, my offer with no contingency was $34,000 OVER asking. Was told my offer was 3rd highest and solicited for more money, only to find the house closed for $309,000 2 months later? $60,000 less than my offer, very suspicious! How do sellers walk away from 60k (20% more money)? I just can't imagine, except for market manipulation by agents. I wonder if the sellers even knew. I think situations like this happen more often than we hear about! Very suspicious!
Answer: No a scam, total farce, wouldnt recommend them to a dog looking for a dog house.
