I was told when I signed up that if I was not satisfied with the service that I can cancel at any time. NOT TRUE! The sales rep will tell you that, and never answer your calls. Then when I called customer care to cancel they said that I was in a one year contract and that I could not cancel it. Well, now I am stuck with leads that go all over the place to multiple people when I requested exclusive leads and am paying for exclusive leads.
There is no way that the management of Realtor.com ever tried it on a real computer. I'm guessing the developers gave a PowerPoint presentation and the suits all gave approval without ever trying it. There is no excuse in 2016 for a website to lockup Internet Explorer. While looking for a $500K house the site to forever to do searches and locked up several times. It all seems to be related to the third party advertisements. I don't want to buy f**king shoes (one ad was for shoes) I want to find a $500K house you idiots! You lost my commission. Hope the site causes them many lost sales.
Realtor.com scams Real Estate agents. There expensive leads are only trailer homes and timeshares. Their promises are bogus, and they absolutely do not follow their contract. They should be shut down for stealing Real Estate agents money. Their customer service is horrible! They should refund money to all the realtors they have scammed!
You will never get someone to talk to if you have a problem. They literally told me we have 96 other clients. That was their responseto me when I was complaining about an issue that wasn't handle properly! WOW! I would never say that to any of my clients! Zillow here we come!
I emailed them regarding a property and received a call from someone foreign ended conversation when they asked me too many personal questions in addition they were not responding to the property I was interested in. Replied to another ad received text message I asked for email address was told to call when I sent another text it failed? Replied to several other listings not ONE response? Very strange considering I explained to them I was preapproved by the VA?
After 6 months, not one good lead. Average one lead a month in my zip code and one was a lender searching for her client who already has an agent. Another was a college student shopping around for his friends parents, who already have an agent. Another was for a listing that was shown as $100k under the real price and the property wasn't on the market. Misrepresentation by sales rep is the biggest issue, second to the fact that Customer Service has every excuse in the world for any issue you bring up. I was told I own any lead I receive, but in fact it is a shared lead, so by definition I don't feel that means I own it. Very disappointing and a waste of my hard earned money plus the 12 month contract I am locked into or a penalty for cancelling early.
Can not get response for weeks...
Will contact Federal trade Commission sending leads in non real estate mobile homes ( leased land) also contacted *******@realtor.org. National Association of Realtor liaison. I have had same experience as everyone here
I have been using neighborhood specialist advertising on Realtor.com for over a year. Not one lead was generated. The quality of Realtor.com has truly gone down hill.
Very upset with Realtor.com. I paid for a 6 mos trial, and never renewed. But they went ahead and renewed anyway. I am furious that they never called me. I called them when I realized they were charging me. I wasn't even with the same firm any longer. Now I am getting letters from an atty.
They text me only
Can't call they don't answer google voice #
Want all my info before showing house
Disappeared when I said I would like to see if the hous is a good fit before committing to anything they are asking for
Found house on another site priced different
There is no better realtor than Chris Dillow. Having had several real estate transactions bicoastally and in the Midwest, I thought I had seen some pretty good realtors. Then I met Chris Dillow. Always the consummate professional, he was willing to show, and prompt when showing, a property on short notice. Even when the purchasing process seemed to be filled with twists and turns, he made the process brighter providing clarity. He was timely with every single request. He was directly and actively involved in problem solving. He always had the perfect blend of realism and optimism. He always has a kind word and a bright spirit. Chris has integrity. He has a thoughtfulness that is unmatched. He even kept the property I was seeking in good visual condition during the process as a kindness to my family. He doesn't just go the extra mile... he goes twenty extra miles. I couldn't be more grateful.
I was looking for my own information listed for the home I bought. After looking up my house that I own. Noticed this site has complete an utter mis information. Nothing is correct. At least 10 years old. I wouldn't trust them with any information with any sale of home.
And dont give them private information. I would consider this company or site scammed fraud in home owners. Buyer beware!
This is the 2nd time I have seen this with my home, and I was not even selling. It shows it was updated. How could they give anyone real leads when I know for a fact my home wasn't even for sale. I'm reporting them. I have had it. And I have been receiving mail from tons of realtors when I'm not even selling. This is harassment!
I was told by Peter Kapp. I would receive 20 buyer leads per month. After the first month, I only received 3 leads. I contacted customer service and requested that they cancel my service and was then advise I would not be able to cancel and I would be responsible for paying the reminder of the 6 month contract. Also, the same day of requesting a cancellation, Majidian enrolled me into the fivestreet program without my authorization. Both services will now cost me $147.00 which I do not want.
My husband and I just bought a home with the assistance of Monica Foster Team The entire team was great. Our agent named Brittany was so helpful and prompt with any questions we had. We highly recommend the Monica Foster Team with any real estate needs.
Just sold condo in Scottsdale. I had no realtor as I live out of state. Due to the luck of the draw I picked Greg Zonno on line. I have owned 9 condos and have rented most of them. I am retired and so it was time to sell! Greg did ALL of the leg work, from hiring painters, plumbers, carpet layers etc. He met them at the condo, oversaw their work which was tricky due to strict rules of HOA. I can state this was laborious and took several months. I used to be a broker many years ago and I know a good realtor and I know the difference. This individual made my life so easy as I thought I would have to go back to Scottsdale and do all the arrangements to get the condo in good shape. His advice was right on! He sold the condo in several days. I am almost 76 years old and I have one more condo to sell and my son also has a condo that he will eventually sell as well. Greg will have the listings. Thanks Greg.
The site, realtor.com, does not allow feedback although there is a feedback button at the bottom of every page you pull up on realtor.com, clicking on it does nothing. The site is as lame as all of the other real estate sites. As potential buyer, here this realtor.com and all other real estate sites, when I set criteria for a 2 or 3 bedroom home showing pages of 6 bedroom homes means I am done. If I am shopping for a 3 bedroom home then set the search limit to FIT EXACTLY THAT CRITERIA and stop showing me 6 and 7 bedroom homes.
This is my third attempt to try and cancel this account. My account was initially set up by Rory Bennings over the phone and we discussed several different zip codes and I decided on *******. Which is where my office is located in Duluth, GA. After one month I had still not received any leads (I paid for 0 leads) but when The first one came through, I realized it was in DECATUR. I brought this up several times and could not get in touch with Rory to explain his mistake... in fact I couldnt get in touch with anyone. I have not been able to work these leads as they are out of my scope of business and most of them are bogus leads anyway. Since then I have not been assisted in correcting this huge issue and the few people I have spoken to are RUDE, extremely unprofessional, and seem to have absolutely no problem with taking my money every month for a flawed service that I do not want.
Had a realtor named Billy Jo Salkowski, very unprofessional and practices illegal activities. She will con you in many ways and provide you with fake invoices. Buyers and Renters beware of Billy Jo. She works for Remax Achiever's in Collegeville, Pa.
I used realtor.com to help us buy a house and used their recommended agent. The agent did such a great job and registered us for their rebate.
Their rebate rules are too harsh. With all the stress of selling our house, buying the house, moving, and on top of that Covid! - I made the mistake of missing the rebate deadline, and because of that honest mistake, I will not be receiving a rebate, not even a dime. I wouldn't mind it so much if it was just a few hundred dollars but it's for almost $2000. I asked for easing the rule regarding my situation. If it was something like reducing the rebate amount as a penalty, I can accept that. But for the whole amount? I'm so sorry. The only thing I can do now is to unsubscribe, never to use this service for a realtor or for any reason.
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
