Realtors, save your money
February 11, 2016

Signing up for a leadprogram is easy, ending/cancelling your contract is a WHOLE different story. You will not get the number and quality of leads that you might expect. Feels like a scam. You are warned!

First contact rude!
July 10, 2020

I was looking online for homes and, of course, had to enter email and phone number. Before I knew it a guy calls and connected me with a Sheila in SC that told me I couldn't afford anything I was looking for. She was very rude and could care less about what I was looking for. Then I get an anonymous text from a SC number, looked it up, and it belongs to Sheila, that I am assuming she meant for it to go to the guy that first talked to me, who knows, but it says, "She can't afford what she thought she could buy." I just think she was completely rude and absolutely no help whatsoever. I'm sure if I was rich enough she'd have treated me nicer. Done!

Misleading!
July 22, 2021

They had a mobile home for sale, but did not mention in the ad that the owner wanted cash in full! Thats 119,000.00 in cash! So why are they mentioning mortgages and VA loans in the ad? That also will advertise Co-ops that are not available. I will not call this company again!

DON'T DO IT!
January 19, 2018

I was promised one zip code for a lower price and they signed me up for another zip code at a higher price. I called to question this and was bounced around from person to person, no one was authorized to cancel my account. They hounded and hounded me to give them a chance and when I finally did it was a disaster. They are the worst

Just when I thought I heard it all. I saw a house for sale on realtor.com. I sent my information and expressed my interest for more information. The representative I spoke to First called me and hung up. I then called him back. His answer was is this Rita!,
I then questioned him several times as to who listed the house. I asked if it was the owner he said he does not know.
I then asked what realtor listed it. Again he didn't know. He wanted to give me to a realtor of his choice in my area. How could realtor.com not know who listed this house?.
Hey realtor.com, you don't decide who I give my business to!

They discriminate.
August 16, 2021

I'm in the process of buying a manufactured home. I contacted Realtor.com about a home that I'd like to see. Put me in contact with an agent, Brandon. He kept saying that he'd call me and he never did. Called back Realtor.com and they put me through to some guy named George. When I explained that I wanted a virtual viewing on account of my physical mobility disability, he hung up on me! I called him and asked him if he had just hung up on me and he said yes, because anyway he wouldn't make a commission on that kind of sale, which I find hard to believe. Then he told me that I should spend a little more money, I guess so that he can make a big commission... Rude and arrogant. That's the kind of agent this company has.

Selling buyer leads of cheap land parcels instead of leads for home buyers. 4 of the last 5 leads were for land.

Stay clear of REALTOR.com lead buying. Wish I could give them zero stars or a negative number of stars.

As a realtor I thought awesome I will sign up for a zip code in my area and get leads... What a mistake. Might of been zip code area but all leads were cold leads and led to nothing. On top of that when year contract was over i started getting a bill from top producer. Apparently I was paying for this all along and was not in my contract and after one year still getting charged. They said I never canceled top producer. How was I to know when I never ordered it. Beware when signing contract of any hidden charges. 4 months later still trying to get charges off my credit card! I will never use this company again as a realtor.

Paid tons of money for local listing leads and not only did they not give me the number they claimed they would but most they sent me were already under contract... Did not get one valid lead! And they claimed the phone number are verified--- not true! A total waste of money!

Used your old app for years and it was great. What did you do? It's impossible to use the new app. Even going to the website instead is horrible. You should stop wasting money on your commercials and fix your app and website.

No crime statistics
January 15, 2022

The purpose of your business is to facilitate the buying and selling of homes. Not having crime statistics to help buyers determine whether they want to buy a particular house is antagonistic to the point of realtor.com's existence. Unhelpful and potentially damaging to potential buyers.

Realtor.com is a great site for anyone looking to purchase or rent a house anywhere in the U.S. The only reason I did not give 4 stars is because the pages are verrry sllooooow in loading. If they can fix the speed issue, it will be a homerun. You can enter a number of search parameters to personalize your search and see only exactly the type of home that you are interested in. You can save searches too. It is like having access to the MLS service without being a realtor. It is also a good way to check up on your realtor if you are working with one.

Best realtor ever!
July 17, 2018

Dawn Nowak from Howard Hanna was our realtor. She was amazing to work with. Dawn is on the ball every moment. When you want to see a home she gets you in within 48 hours of every request. She is so ambitious and driven she doesnt skip a beat. If you want to find Your dream home then you want someone as dedicated to finding your home as you are and that's Dawn! She listens to everything you want in a home. Each house you go to see meets the exact criteria for what you are looking for. It was such a pleasure working with her and we would highly recommend her to everyone. Within 5 weeks from the day we first started viewing homes we found our house and closed on it. My family could not be happier in our new home. Dawn made it happen for us and will make it happen for you.

Horrible company
September 4, 2018

I went to a SAR class on Realtor.com I loved what I heard and signed up. I work in Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks, the leads were mobile homes in south sacramento. I called in and got my money back. The company called me and I thought why not try them they reimbursed me for the bad leads. So why not I told the guy I needed a few weeks as I was changing Real Estate companies. The 2 weeks went different I called in to get a totally different person I asked if the person that helped me would get credit. I was told yes. To find out that he did not get credit so I spent the first day on the phone making sure the person that convinced me would get the credit I should have pulled then. I told the person on the phone that I did not want my debt card ran so I would pay in advance, I paid $1299. 00. So find out I find that my card is on file and 170.00 has been charged twice without my approval

Inaccurate
August 2, 2016

I would like to change my maximum price to a number between 1500 and 2000. I am able to do it on the website, but it does not cross over to my iphone. On the phone app, I must choose either 1500 or 2000. Obviously there are many homes between there and it is a waste of my time to have to sift through all of the homes that are out of my price range. Not to mention the constant updates regarding homes that are not of any significance to me. Is anyone able to provide me a way around this? If so, I am willing to change my rating.

Do NOT do it!
January 21, 2018

They lie! It's just that simple. They tell you one thing and then do another. "Exclusive" is the exact word that was used when I purchased leads from a zip code. "Nobody else" will get leads from that zip code is what I was told. Then, several times now, when I get a lead alert and call the lead, they have already been contacted by anther Realtor. The bad thing, I probably would have signed up anyway, but I HATE doing business with a company that is not forthcoming and ethical. These people are not!

She was so bad and unprofessional. Claims she provides info she does not and was very unprofessional when I let her know I was no longer in the market. Never had signed an agreement or anything yet tried to be manipulative and acted like I owed her something.

HATE UPDATES!
December 15, 2015

This was, up until now, the best site to do research. I despise the new format, but obviously, it is catering to realtors and NOT the general public. Therefore, I will quit using this website for research. I guess this is the general consensus among the general population!

Biggest Disappointment
January 23, 2017

As a Realtor, I really had faith that Realtor.com would be better than Zillow. But my experience with them has been nothing but garbage. The latest ongoing saga I have with them is trying to get my testimonials from testimonialtree.com onto my page. For unknown reasons, they won't transfer over to my page like they do for everyone else and they refuse to fix it for me. Going on 3 months and still no resolution. They just aren't doing anything about and apparently refuse to give me the time of day. So... as I constantly meet buyers through my open houses and elsewhere, I ask them what website they use when shopping online. If they say Realtor, com, I tell them that it's a garbage website and that I recommend they use Zillow. I also tell my Realtor cohorts about my experience with Realtor.com.
