I have been placing orders for the company I work for since 2002. And until it became ReadyRefresh, delivery service was relatively satisfactory. We are a small company in the construction industry and for the past 4 years, our monthly usage is over $3500 so think we are appreciated or at least receive the correct deliveries? Hell no, too much to ask!. The problem with most business is that there is a change in ownership and all goes to hell in a hen basket.
Customer Service reps are usually very understanding & helpful if you speak to someone Stateside and not one of their off shore contractors. But no matter how well intended, if deliveries are constantly botched, all the Customer Service in the world can't put humpty-dumpty together again. Now the excuse you get is 'problems with deliveries due COVID-19'. Really I asked? The Delivery problems for us started way before March, 2020 in NYC.
Problem is there aren't many other water delivery companies with their capacity to service the majority of commercial clients and they know it.
SL
Had Crystal Springs, and they were great! $17.00 per month, service system once a year, mailed invoice once a month, no extra charge... Always contacted me in advance of anything.
THEN, READY-FRESH bought them out... The Service has been stale ever since... (1st) * They started charging me for a "PAPER BILL" $3.00 (who does that?) * (2nd) They ignored calls for service, but then let me know, well, we don't service once a year, only once every 1.5 years.* (3rd) * Then, they started raising the rates. (Now lets think about this, they DO NOT bring me anything, just a rental fee for the equipment: which I have paid for it long ago; had service for seven years) THEY HAVE RAISED THE PRICE BY 45% IN 2 years...
I'm done, canceled my service...
GOOD LUCK KEEPING CUSTOMERS "READY FRESH"
When I lived in my moms house on the first floor, it was great getting these deliveries. I had the same quantity every 3 months. No complaints. When I moved out of my moms house into an apartment I didn't realize any problems because the second floor I lived on wasn't accesible to delivery, I had to bring them up. I was younger, not pregnant, no kids. Etc. Now I moved to Brooklyn where I have been living 5 years with my family and the delivery has gone from worse to worse to terrible. I'm done with this company after 12 years. My deliveries slowly stopped being taken upstairs. I'm on the third floor with 2 small kids and I am 7 months pregnant, my husband has been undergoing surgeries he can not bring any of that up. I can not run down to bring them up, shouldn't be doing so without great risk to be injured and I end up with 8-12 bottles at home/in the hall. They don't ring the bell on purpose, to sneak away. Cruel. Customer service doesn't care and pretend like my account is closed 3 times already I am receiving unwanted deliveries downstairs and being charged. So I closed that card out and guess what happens today? They STILL delivered without payment. Thanks to Ready Refresh I have dealt with lots of pain and struggle while paying 50 dollars for 4 water jugs including tip. I have dealt with theft, problems with neighbors. All for some water. I am done. Next time if/when this order shows up it's going on offer up as free dispenser included.
Good bye ready refresh.
After a few years of dealing with this major headache, I finally convinced the boss to shell out for a fridge with filtered water and ice from the door because ReadyRefresh is the absolute worst. If you need customer service, call before 9am or you will be on hold for 45-60+ minutes. Their pickup and delivery hours start before and end after normal business hours and it does not let you select your business hours for delivery scheduling. I spoke to a rep and asked them to place a note that we cannot accept deliveries or be here to return bottles before 9am or after 5pm. They still left bottles outside our door before 8am and never came back to pick up the empty ones. They were supposed to cancel a subsidiary account under our main account but instead continued to deliver water to a location that did not exist and were charging us for servicing a machine that didn't exist. Please, save yourself the headache and find ANY other option. How this company is still in business is beyond me. Absolutely 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company. On top of everything, they even harass you after an order asking for a tip for the driver. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he shows up in a ReadyRefresh truck... is he not under your employ? We already get charged a $9 delivery fee. Why would we tip additionally for a company that cannot follow simple instructions?
Don't waste your time with this water delivery company. They take two payments out in the same month. A payment went through my bank on the 13th of July. They took another payment on the 14th which has been in pending since. I don't owe you money. They still haven't removed it from pending. They keep lingering. Every time I call they give me another 5-5 business days. Twice they said they were expediting it. Didn't happen. Called again they told me 3-5 business days then they would expedite. Now I talk to another person who called me and they told me they didn't put anything in pending. They blame everything on the system. I told them I'm not stupid. People have to input it into the system or it wouldn't happen. I'm fed up. I had already canceled my account for the same problems. I'm sick of being stressed out every month because of idiots lying. I was paying for my sister's delivery. Now I have cancelled her delivery account as well. These people don't even need to be in business. The representatives act like a person is a stupid idiot and don't know that a person has to put everything in the computer. They need to sweep around their own doorstep instead of acting like customers are the idiots. They have complaints in the Better Business Bureau as well. Please think twice before buying or having delivery from Ready Refresh.I added a photo because the person who called me which is the last person I spoke to told me they didn't have anything pending in my bank account. He lied. All I've gotten is lies since July 14,2023.
I rarely take the time and effort to write a review about a company. It has to be a pretty bad situation for me to take the time to reflect a situation. My recent experience with Ready Refresh has been sooooooo horrendous that I just have to let everyone know what happened -- and how badly Ready Refresh responded... Two weeks ago, my geographic area had a bad snowstorm. Two weeks ago! But Ready Refresh has told me (for FOUR days straight) that that is the reason my usual delivery is late. And they cannot tell me exactly when I might be receiving my water delivery! So, for the past four days, Ready Refresh has delayed my delivery date... day after day after day. Yesterday I had to actually go to my local grocery store to buy water. But I was assured I would receive my delivery by today (NOT! -- the website now says tomorrow).
Now, the customer service person's response is "... ma'am, there is never a guarantee of a delivery date. It is merely a SCHEDULED date -- not guaranteed". What?!? I immediately cancelled my account (I've been a customer for years!). I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this company.
If you want to spend your money and not receive a product, this is the company to use.
Constantly late or wouldnt even even deliver, but real quick to take your money. DONT DO IT!
Constantly getting emails and notifications of delivery getting rescheduled. We've been getting service with them for 7 months and literally have seen 2 deliveries. Ridiclous!
For a while they were OK. They used to pick up empties from my business and replace with full bottles. Then they just started leaving full bottles outside my door never checking if I needed any, and never picked up. So I had more and more bottles than I needed. Especially during the height of Covid when I was partially closed down and used much less water. I told them to stop delivering. Then they sent new terms of service which were to go into effect shortly which included a fee if I ever chose to stop their service. Ridiculous to charge me to stop my service! So I told them to cancel my service and pick up my dispenser and any empties by the effective date of the new policy. They did give me a refund for those empties they picked up with the dispenser. I still had many full bottles which I had paid for so I bought an inexpensive dispenser pump and used up the bottles. I then asked them to pick up the empties which they did in mid September and expected a refund for the deposits I had paid. I was told at the end of September I would be paid in October. I never received a refund. Today I was told that I was not entitled to one as they had already given my refund prior to picking up. HOw is that possible? How would they know how many I had to pick up vs how many were still full? They said they had paid which means if true they refunded my deposit fee before they ever picked up my bottles. Why would they do that? They are liars and dishonest. Do NOT use this company.
Ready Fresh IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH... THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED AND THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST ON THE PLANET... TRY CALLING... UOU WILL HAVE 50 MINUTE TO A HOUR AND A HALF WAIT TIME TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE... I JUST SIGNED YP WITH CRYSTAL SPRINGS HALF THE PRICE AND YOU CALL AND SPEAK TO SOMEONE IMMEDIATELY
I was paying $7.00 for a 5 gal water container in Jan 2020 and have had 2 price increases. During the pandemic and now 1 year and 8 months later I get a letter my price will increase again 2.00 so now I will.be paying 14.00 for 5 gal container that's up 50,% that's taking advantage of customers. And my dispenser cost is going up 2.00. I have the same. Dispenser for three years and when it was acting up they are suppose to replace it, they replace with used units but still. Chsrge you the same amount. I had to have my unit exchanged out 3 times, the first one didn't keep water cool, the second started to smoke(which they said was my error) rhey replaced with a third one that was scratched.up and dirty when I received it,, yes dirty during a pandemic... My delv. Guy is very nice and I will. Take care of him privately but for a company to suggest. To. Leave a tip for your delivery person on the bill is ludicrous with the prices they charge and unfortunately they are the only water company that delivers to my are... AGAIN they definitely take advantage of their customers
I cancelled my Readyrefresh Account and haven't gotten deliveries since July yet they just charged me $30. After 3 hours I finally got through to customer service and was told this was the reconditioning fee for the water dispenser and is in the terms of service. There was no terms of service on the site with this condition when I signed up. Nestle makes it impossible to contact them, and they charge for customer service. I quit because the price of spring water went up to $3.00 per gallon and because I NEVER got responses to the emails sent to them through the contact us page on the website. Oh yeah, the other reason was Nestle is trying to take over people's right to clean drinking water. They are as greedy and evil as any other big corporation, maybe more so. Customer service rep said she could not stop the payment because I agreed to it. The rep when I cancelled assured me there would be NO FURTHER CHARGES to my account. Liars, price gougers, big corporation evil overlords, they need to be stopped.
This summer my office suffered because they over promised and under delivered. On our schedule water delivery date they just never came we had to sit on hold 3x over 30 minutes because someone just kept hanging up the phone. After they rescheduled they still did show up. We have had our water delivery deferred 3xs during the summer. Ithink they are just horrible in making promises they are not able to deliver. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE.
I ordered distilled water from them because I could have it delivered to my office. I wanted Ozarka for equipment that requires it. I received my first order and I decided that the second order should be cancelled as I did not need it any further. Trying to cancel it was simply a nightmare. I really believe that the company was trying to stall me and frustrate me to allow the delivery just come on through. I worked several hours to get in touch with someone... then they acted like they did not understand I wanted the entire delivery cancelled. They thought I wanted to delay the delivery. I was very clear on this. Then I also noticed that Ozarka delivery had arbitrarily been changed to Pure Life distilled water. This company acts like it is easy to cancel orders but in fact they are very hard to get customer service to act on your request if it is a cancellation, was my experience. Ready Refresh representative even told me that since I ordered through Amazon I had to contact Amazon... Have you tried to contact Amazon? Very hard to get a person on the phone. In fact, I could not find a phone number for Amazon. Carefully choose ReadyRefresh for your delivery needs as it is difficult to cancel them once you have started with them. This was my experience in June 2023.
I ordered a delivery on 1/2/2022 and have had delays reported everyday since the 1/6 promised delivery date. To Date on January 19th!, STILL NO DELIVERY. READY REFRESHS SUCKS AND TRIES TO KILL LEGITIIMATE BUSINESSES WITH LIES AND FALSE PROMISES! WORST COMPANY ON EARTH!
AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE
Constant issues and delays. Missing portions of orders.
Customer service acts like a problem is resolved but it continues month after month
THEY TOOK OUR WATER DISPENSER AND REPLACED IT WITHOUT OUR ASKING. DIDNT SEE OR HEAR FROM THEM FOR MONTHS. THEN SLAP US WITH A BILL. WE TOLD THEM WE DIDNT WANT THE WATER MACHINE AND THEN THEY TELL US THERE WILL BE A RE-HOMING FEE. SEEMS MLIKE A BIT OF A SCAM CONSIDERING THEY TOOK OUR DISPENSER AND REPLACED IT WITH THEIR OWN ONLY TO NOT DELIVER WATER AND THEN CHARGE US FOR A DISPENSER WE DIDNT WANT, NEED, OR ASK FOR.
If I could I would give them 0 stars.
I was a faithful Poland Spring user for 15 + years. Somewhere down the line Ready Refresh took them over and their customer service is basically non existent... Forget Covid excuses. This has been going on BEFORE Covid. In Sept of last year my system sprang a bad leak all over the floor. I called them (9) times and sent them over 11 e mails
By some Fluke I spoke to a real person on my 9th time and he actually arranged to pick up my bad cooler. And take away the empties. PHEW
But wait there's more. Although I now have CLOSED the account I have 0 left zilch 0 BUT I am getting a bill every month and oh yes ea month another $20 late charge.is added on just to piss me off?
I have moved on to TWIN ROCKS and these guys are awesome.
I hate to write a scathing review about a company like this but I have all my e mails documented etc and I am not exaggerating...
My advise try anyone else but Ready Refresh!? My only help is someone sees this in their office and actually reaches out to me?
We have cancelled our services online May 2020, June 2020, July 2020, August 2020, Sept 2020 and Oct. 2020. We continue to be billed and charged late fees. Additionally we wrote Ready Refresh a letter July 2020 stating our difficulties in canceling services and for them to please cancel. They will not answer our calls. We call to speak to a manager and they will not put us through.
DO NOT GET SERVICES FROM READY REFRESH
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE. Buyers beware... this company is EXTREMELY IRRITATING TO WORK WITH. I ask for home delivery, but they lesve it out of the building door,... in NYC> 99% of the time it is STOLEN. Such fiucken idiots. Instructions are clear to drop off the new bottles and take the old ones... they NEVER FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. DO NOT ORDER FROM READYFRESH.
Answer: I believe it's a lack of communication between them and the delivery guys. I had the same issue and cancelled my account. Watch out for your invoices too.
Answer: Beatriz S. Please tell us as an insider what kinds of policies ready refresh has and why customers are treated so poorly. You can help make the world a better place starting with getting these types of companies to change their awful practices and deceptions.
Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
Answer: Call them and ask to speak to a supervisor right away.
