I've never used this site before. I selected 2 tickets to a Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park. The listed ticket price was $87 each. No indication of the add-on charges. I found the seats I wanted and ordered from my iPhone. I completed the checkout info and hit ORDER. Instead of the usual confirmation showing the full total, I was taken immediately to rate-us page. I found out that I was being charged $219.82 from the email confirmation. That's a 26% surcharge, which I would not have accepted. I got on a live chat with a service rep, explained what happened and asked that my purchase be cancelled. All I got was standard blather about giving their customers the best experience but tough luck, you can't cancel. The rep even said "we understand that people's plans change" -- huh? BUT, if I wanted my money back all I had to do is use their site to resell my tickets!
Needless to say, I don't recommend using RateYourSeats.
Rate your tickets responded right away to check my tickets and made sure they spoke to the seller to send over the tickets over email right away. Within minutes seller confirmed and found out they were Box VIP tickets! This deal was part of a VIP box at great price! I'll buy again!

Tickets were cancelled with no explanation. I emailed and asked and then understood - as I had put my email address with my husband's credit card. Yes, good security measures but I had to redo the order. It would have been better if this security process when ordering explained that the details must match the credit card holder's details. The upset could have been avoided. Thanks.
This is the only place that would show the view from behind the stage for a Billy Joel concert at MSH. So happy I was able to get an idea before I bought tickets. Turns out they were great seats and much closer than other seats in the same price zone.

I looked everywhere for information about box seats at BB&T Pavilion. There just wasn't anything on the Ticketmaster website or the venue's website. And I really didn't want to pay $200 a ticket to end up disappointed.
I was lucky to find this website which showed where the boxes were and what to expect. We end ended up sitting in Box 3 (right at the front!) and had an incredible night. We got into the VIP club and even had a waitress serve us drinks at our seats. It was a perfect way to spend a night out and not be too crowded in the regular seats.

My tickets were sent to my email two days before the concert. I would've liked it if I had them sooner, but they were easy to download to my Apple Wallet and scan for the show. I emailed them about a week after I bought the tickets and they were helpful in explaining that some tickets aren't available right away.
I would feel comfortable using them again now that I know how the delivery works.

I reached out to rateyourseats with help with lawn tickets I bought for a concert next summer. When I e-mailed, they asked for my order number, but I didn't have one because I purchased from somewhere else. I notified them of this, and they were still very helpful and patient with me trying to figure out if I'd be able to sit with my friends who also had lawn tickets.
I didn't buy from them this time, but certainly will try to next time.

I was pretty nervous at first about my refund options and process since there really wasn't much information available online. After reading reviews here and a couple of posts on Facebook, I decided to give it a shot (considering I did spend 450 on two tickets and the refund to my concert only went back to the original ticket purchaser). I emailed two emails asking for a refund, providing my contact information and what concert. Within a week, I got an email about refund order (there is delayed processing due to the amount of emails) and I also got my money back too. Smooth effort and made me definitely stress less.
Their 100% refund policy (as what I have seen) only applies to cancelled events.
- Confirm that your event is 100% CANCELLED, not waiting for reschedule or something else. Otherwise you will not get a full refund.
- Email their orders email.
In the email, provide a quick summary of what event got cancelled and mention their "Buyer Guarantee" policy. Include your contact information and most IMPORTANTLY, your order # from when you purchased your tickets. (scroll through your old emails if needed)
