I spoke to Finn today, I was completely confused about how to sign in and place an order Finn was absolutely wonderful he walked me through step-by-step he made it so easy for me to understand he is a credit to your company. He was such a pleasure to speak with, very very friendly very very helpful I can't say enough good things about him. Great customer experience!
Had a weird one of site glitch when trying to get a new gift card. Chat wouldn't work, basically shut down the site. I sent an email and was quickly impressed Raise took ownership of the event and fixed it, and then offered $5 as an apology. Darn good on you. I appreciate the company and how well you treat the customer.
Makkonen was very professional in helping me with an issue regarding my purchase.
The gift card I bought was invalid and he worked with me to get this resolved in a timely manner. Now I'm just awaiting the refund to take place and all will be well. Will continue to do business with Raise with this kind of support. Especially when compared to other services like Raise.
So glad I learned about Raise. $avings are off the chain. The agents are well-versed in the company, as well as very courteous. (I've made two calls today.) Raise, a tool no one should miss out on. Thank you, "R!"
I ordered Lowe's gift cards and the order was 9 separate cards. These were sent from 3 separate sellers, 2 of whom sent them right away. The third waited almost 10 days to ship which caused me to miss the chance to use the cards for the intended purchase. :/
First of all I'd like to mention the assortment, the wide choice and the catalog, which is conveniently divided into categories, plus there is a description of the product. On the site you can write to the consultant, I got an answer in 15 minutes. The manager helped with the choice. The prices are reasonable. The delivery is fast. The product is of high quality. I can highly recommend it.
But not all was lost... purchased a card as a gift... the recipient tried to use it... EMPTY
Called RAISE... Merrick took care of the issue in minutes... FULL REFUND...
Thanks Merrick, thank you RAISE... faith restored
I have ordered 2 e-gift cards on raise.com. I paid 890 for a 1000 dollar bloomingdale's gift card and 248.08 for a 400 dollar sunglasses hut one. I have left them for a year and half and realized those cards are inactive.
I have called raise, the customer service was nice and willing to resolve the issue for me. He has offered me a 400-dollar credit that is going to expire in 6 months. He said that is the best that he could do because the both purchases were out of the 1 year guarantee. I have lost 738.08 dollars over this incident and have to sallow this myself. I am still in shock about the loss I have had and now I am stuck with a credit that I have to spend within 6 months.
Well, after purchasing several gift cards and not using one after a few months I go to use it and to my surprise the number is invalid and raise will, not help me because its over 60days. It would have been nice if they could look up, this info and accommodate me in some way. I will never use this company again and I would suggest anyone not to use it unless its for an immediate purchase. It just doesn't feel like a safe purchase.
I attempted to place and order 2 times. Both times they flagged me as living out of the US, and wouldn't honor the sale. Then they stored my c/c number even though I selected to not do so. Contacted customer service and "nothing can be done"
I would avoid them...
They have no system in place that prevents sellers from using the same gc themselves or from re-selling gc on another venue other than Raise. Check reviews on bbb: others have exactly the same issue as we had. Save yourself some grief, buy elsewhere. Bought a restaurant gc back in May and tried to used it for the first time in October and it turned out it had 0 balance. Raise said it was used in July by someone. Since i was out of the country during that month until mid august, there was no way this gc was used by me during that time. This gift card was worth $50 and was used in 1 go. I have never been to this location of ihop restaurant in my life. They denied refund based on pure conjecture: they have no proof we used it.
Things have changed. The discounts offered on gift cards is not as high as they used to be. Before many of the cards I would get would have 8-14% off but no longer. A card offering 1% off gives me nothing because my credit card gives me 1% back. This is disappointing.
I dont know why so many people have problems with this website. I honestly use it all the time and I have never had a single problem. Its super convenient and i have saved a ton of money on gift cards from it, ive also made a little bit of money too
With any problems or concerns related to Raise, Raise Member Services has been very quick to respond to fix and/or answer my concern. They remedy issues very quickly and professionally. I have never once been disappointed with the outcome, and in fact, have been pleasantly impressed instead.
I made two purchases on the website. The cards did not have the correct amount on them that I paid for. I contacted customer service, and they refused to refund the full amount. A few days later, I get another charge of over $1,000 on my card THAT I DID NOT MAKE. At this point I contact my bank to start fraud proceedings. The bank fixes everything (including returning the money to Raise.com that they had paid me as a partial return), and I get a new credit card. I thought that would be the end. A few weeks later, I got another charge for $91.29. On my NEW credit card. How did they even get that account number? According to my bank, they are listed as a "recurring provider." Why would they be a recurring provider if they sell gift cards? It's not like they have a subscription service.
Unfortunately there was a problem with some Starbucks Gift Cards. It seems that they had been bought by unauthorized use of a credit card. In due course, the victim made a claim and the Gift Cards were de-activated. I contacted Raise and within only a couple of hours their excellent (and friendly) team had arranged a refund. Now I just hope that they catch up with the fraudster behind the problem. For me, it was interesting to see how quickly and competently the folk at Raise resolved the problem. You sometimes wonder just how good a guarantee is. It seems to me that the Raise Guarantee is cast-iron. Thanks to all of you who helped.
Love the fact that the e-Giftcards arrive immediate after one places an order, unlike other websites.
This was the only time i had to call since it did not arrive immediately but was issued immediately.
I placed a $210 order tonight & it was a nightmare experience. First, the site kept asking me to verify my email. Which I did. But it kept asking. I gave up & bypassed to make a purchase. Apparently that angered order processing who canceled my order. I tried to verify again and re place my order. I was suspended. I spoke with two chat agents. One was kind but unhelpful. The other was snide. I hope that I get my money back. Two takeaways. One, Raise is ripping off Rakuten as Raise is unusable inside Rakuten's app. And two, I almost bought a Google Play gift card unaware Google Play can instantly and permanently suspend your account for using a resold gift card. I hope someone sees this review and soares themselves the hassle and uncertainty of the status of a large charge on their card
Never buy from Raise.com Raise is using customers money and keep saying "we will refund to you. Don't worry". Customer rep are professional liars. They will send to you a hundreds emails, that they are very sorry, and at the same time they will use your money.
My order day was 7-22-2015. Today is 8-26-2015. I still did not get refund for empty $150.00 Dave@ Busters gift card. Yes, i got the card, but at the moment when I need to pay it was $0 not a $150.00 They will keep telling to you that we are a third part! They are not responsible but they will refund to you 100%. In my order they put canceled(?)
I checked today still don't have my refund. I wish I could post negative 5 stars. Horrible experience. Never buy from Raise.com"
I have purchased many gift cards from Raise.com and though there have been a few instances where there were issues with the cards (these issues were not Raise.com's fault), I have always been impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of their customer service agents. I continue to have confidence in this company because they always they stand by their 100 day guarantee and do it with a smile.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?

Hi Xinyue, thank you for posting about this experience. We'd like to sincerely apologize for the troubles you've had in redeeming your Bloomingdale's gift card. We understand this is a frustrating experience and we want to do everything we can to 1.) prevent this from happening in the future, and 2.) work towards a resolution that is fair to our members. Unfortunately, as this order does fall outside of our 1 Year Money-Back Guarantee, we are unable to provide a full purchase price refund at this time. As you mentioned, there is Raise Rewards in your account that are set to expire in 6 months. However, if you are unable to use them within that time-frame, we are more than happy to re-add them so you can use the full amount at your convenience. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're more than happy to follow-up!
