My first time ordering from Raise and I encountered a problem. However, I spoke with Lynn who rectified it immediately with a smile in her voice and in her emails. I would definitely recommend using the service and not worrying about mishaps. They are taken care of in the best way in my opinion!
I bought a target gift card from Raise.com and It has completely been in my possession. None of my target accounts have been compromised. I was only able to spend $105.55 of the $436.98 target gift card I purchased before this scammer bought $331.43 worth of items and cleaned up my gift card. I made a complaint 4 times and wrote a detailed email with a screenshot of all my purchases and the purchase that the scammer made but Raise didn't help me to get my money back even though they can easily find out if the original owner after selling me target gift card wiped out the card balance
I realize that buying a resale gift card is risky. There is always the chance that the person who sold the card will use the number before the resale purchaser has a chance to do so. Raise has excellent customer service and guarantees its cards. When I was unable to use a card purchased three weeks earlier, my money was promptly refunded. While it was disappointing to not get the bargain I thought I had purchased, Raise did everything they could to make it right.
I purchased a physical gift card and after two weeks it still hadn't been shipped by the seller. I contacted Raise Customer Service and notified them of the problem. Within an hour a representative (Gus) had contacted me and offered to either contact the seller directly or refund my purchase. The refund was processed within one business day.
Love the website and good to know that customer service is reliable.
After being informed that I would be credited the amount remaining on a Lowe's card ($232.88), I was sent an email indicating a different amount would be refunded. When I asked the reason for the discrepancy, I received no response. The original amount was $295.25, but there was $232.88 remaining on the card per Lowe's.
Up until that time, I was pleased with the Raise follow-up to two digital cards that didn't work. Should I expect a response?
Well, not sure I will tell the entire world, but will say I'm very, very pleased with my most recent experience with customer service. Raise went well above and beyond to help with a difficult situation. Thanks, Raise!
I don't shop much, but I have started using raise to save on the big purchases like clothing and appliances. I've managed to save over $150 so far and i'm loving it. Here's to hoping the deals continue!
I have only been a customer with for about two months and only had one bad experience, which was resolved at once when I contacted customer service. I was very pleased and will continue to purchase gift cards.
I had a question about how to print out a raise E-voucher that I purchased for a gift. April responded. I was most impressed that April reached out several times to be sure my issue was resolved. It turned out to be a simple fix that I should have been able to figure out on my own but she never made me feel like my question was dumb. She was timely and kind in her responses. I appreciate her help
I had issues with two of the gift cards that I purchased from Raise. I contacted their online chat and the issues were resolved within 5 minutes. Very pleasant to deal with. We love raise.com and use it all the time.
April did a fantastic job of helping me - a new customer - when the e-mail came back "invalid recipient" and no one was manning the chat line this morning. April made sure I was taken care on the phone... and did a great job of comforting my nervousness! Thanks much!
I purchased a Nars Gift Card for $69.00 worth $100 over a year ago. I just went to use it today but found out it is an invalid card number and now I am out $69. I called Raise customer service who told me that their insurance is inly good for one year and there's nothing they can do for me. They should guarantee what they are selling for the life of the card.
Earlier purchased Uber gift card and it was valid. So when going for my second purchase i Had so many questions before buying the gift card of HP. So contacted customer service to get it clarified. They Answered to all my questions regarding the HP gift card with patience and given me right information. I am satisfied with there services.
I purchased a $100 Red Robin gift card from the Raise.com for my son's teacher as appreciation. When he tried to use the gift card, Red Robin told him there was $0 balance in it. It was embarrassing for him, as well as for us! We contacted raised.com and requested a refund, and they said since the card was in too many hands (which is me, and the teacher), they could not refund the payment. Isn't the purpose of a gift card is for gifting?! I will never buy from this site again, and you should stay away from it. Buy from another legitimate site.
I am a long time Raise customer and never had issues with any orders until this last order I had placed for a physical card. I received the usual envelope in the mail, but no card was to be found. I contacted Raise, they investigated, and refunded my order. That takes trust, and I appreciated it. I hope Raise was able to investigate the matter with the seller, but in any case, I will continue to be a customer.
The woman I talked on the phone, to, was the best customer service worker I ever had to talk to.Not only did she help solve the problem, but she really took the time to listen to me and make sure my needs were met, in any way that she possibly can. I hope she is there for a very long time, and hope that if I ever need to talk to customer service at Raise.Com, again, that I am lucky enough to get her to be the one to answer my call. Thanks, again, so much, for helping me and really showing me you care.
I found that one of the HD gift card I ordered had the balance lower than the stated value. A simple online chat has resolved the issue. And a refund has been issued. I am very happy. And will continue to buy gift cards on Raise.com.
I bought a gift card that was supposed to come in the mail. 3 weeks later, it still hadn't shown up. I used the online chat to ask about it, and was told they would give me a full refund with no hassle. The refund showed up on my credit card a few days later. I would have preferred to receive the card I bought, but getting lost in the mail is out of their control. I appreciated them making it right so easily.
We went to Paneras today and was told the card was no good! Bummer! I did know Raise has a good guarantee. We got home and went to the site; which now you can talk about the problem online. Within 1/2 hour I got an email stating they would refund my amount. SO GREAT! Besides getting good discounts, the guarantee is fabulous!
Raise has done a phenomenal job with customer support. Anytime I had an issue with the card I notified them and they helped me immediately and corrected the situation. I've saved over $60 with the Raise last year and will continue to do business with them I'm very grateful for their customer service and support
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
