I purchased a pair of sneakers online because I cannot afford to get the store, which is 19 miles from where I live, but when they arrived, they were the wrong design. What's worse, the shoes they delivered are my least favorite design of the entire line. So I naturally wanted to exchange, but their policy is all exchanges must be done in store. Well, i still can't get there, so then u want to return... but to return i must pay for insurance of lost items.
I chose to spend money with them because they had the most affordable options for someone with so little money that they cannot even afford to get to the store. In return they have only cost me money and remorse by ending up with a product that I absolutely did not want in the first place. I'll remember them forever and if anyone ever asks, their online store is a true scam.
I bought a brand new pair of shoes from rack room shoes and they started falling about not even a week later. I paid almost 70$. I politely called and asked for a refund but they obviously said no because " I wore the shoes" obviously I wore them but you shouldn't pay that much for a pair of shoes that doesn't even last a week. Stir clear of this company if you know what is good for you.
Tried reaching out to customer care live chat, unfortunately I got the same person from a few days ago. Patrick did not want to help.
I've been shopping here for years. They decided it would be fun to double charge me 42 dollars twice. They won't refund. They keep saying I wasn't double charged. But I was it's on my bank statement. I will never shop a rack room shoes again. Their customer service is trash. I would recommend paying extra to go anywhere else but here.
They were behind us like if we were gonna steal kicked us out and were very rude to me and my parents when we were making a very good purchase. I was a very good fan of buying in this store.
I came in and returned an item I had bought. I was very unhappy with the service I received from both store employees and customer service. Almost 60 dollars and it's been a week, still have not received my refund. I was hung up on at the end of the call with customer service before finishing. I'm am very upset and will never shop with this company again. Very unprofessional.
I ordered boots for my daughter in law and they are showing delivered to an address in Kentucky while I'm in Ohio. No response to emails, phone calls, or live chat. What a joke. FedEx can't help because the item shows delivered. My only option at this point is to dispute the charge with my bank because apparently this company is nonexistent and bogus. They aren't keeping my money. BEWARE!
I bought a pair of shoes on the 25th of October, and it supposed to be delivered to my residence, but so far on the 27th of November, I have not received it. Every time I called costumer service and every time they says that the shes was sent by mistake to a different address and they would do the corrections and the shoes will arrive in 5 days. I visited the store twice and advised to call and wait; and I am still waiting for more than a month!
2nd pair is 50 % off, not really, 100% rip-off, maybe. I will return to the store and ask about this. If I get no satisfaction, I will contact BBB. Old good stores have changed and forgotten average stores are now number one. Look at the reviews before purchasing, things have gotten messed up a lot. I will now have to seek out better businesses.
I purchased 2 pairs of Nike running shoes for my son in store. I knew I'd need to return one pair as I wasn't sure of his size anymore. I asked the woman when checking out if I could return them. She said sure just keep the receipts. I did but when I took them back she accused me of letting him wear them and then returning them. All because the velcro on one shoe had bumped the other shoe while in the box leaving a tiny smudge that literally wiped off with just a finger swipe. She was very rude and unprofessional and now I'm stuck with a pair of size 3 Nike shoes I can't use.
I ordered 2 pair of shoes online from Rack Room with "free shipping". The pair of boots didn't fit well and we're very uncomfortable, so I decided to return them. I went on online chat to see about their return. There is no store close to me and I requested a free shipping label. The chat person simply said I had to pay for the return shipping, which will likely be half the cost of what I spent on the boots. I tried to have a conversation back with her, but after waiting 10 minutes for her to respond, she cut me off due to "inactivity", even though I had responded 3 times within that 10 minutes. I now know never to shop with them again!
Do not shop here if you value your time at all! They have awful customer service and the worst return policies! They first sent me the wrong size shoes on two pairs, and then they resent and the shoes were dirty! So frustrating and I would NEVER shop their again.
This place only has end of the line, diminished, last of the season clearance stuff. The selection if minimal, the sizes are non existent, the shoes are way over priced and the staff is ridiculous. Don't waste your time. Go to A REAL DEPRTMENT STORE or buy on line,, if this place were to crash and burn tomorrow, I could not be more delighted.
I received my order today via FedEx of 2 pairs of shoes. The plastic packaging appeared to be run over, the shoe boxes inside were destroyed, the shoe boxes were wet as well as the shoes. The shoes don't appear to be physically damaged but I have no idea what type of liquid yuck got inside and all over the new shoes I purchased. Contacted Rackroom Shoes and was told it is their policy that they won't ship replacements to my address (the same address), but could ship them to my neighbor or the closest store, or another "safe" location. I advised them I took the package off my porch within a few minutes of delivery and the damage didn't happen on my end. I sent them numerous pics of the packaging the way it arrived and also advised the shoes don't look damaged but again they were wet. They tried to say FedEx returns damaged packages to their warehouse and doesn't deliver them which is a huge lie. The package was relabeled by FedEx and clearly states relabeled reason is damaged barcode. I have a pic attached that shows that. I realize they didn't open the package and inspect the contents but you can see the label has water damage. I have received more than a few packages that look like a forklift ran over it or the treads of someone's boots were imprinted on the packaging. I will be returning the shoes because of the bad customer service and ridiculous policy that they can't ship replacements to the same address. I will not purchase from Rackroom Shoes again. I have attached pics to show how I received my brand new shoes today from the swamp at Rackroom Shoes.
First of all they sent my shoes to the wrong address, then they tried to blame FedEx, but FedEx said that Rack Room shoes gave them the ok to drop them off at my old address which is in another city. I mean U can't be that stupid! They got poor customer service, they claim they don't have supervisors, they will never ever ever get my business again.
The shoe quality is good, and they have competitive prices, but DO NOT ORDER online if you do not live right next to the brick and mortar store. You may get a great deal on your shoes, but if they do not fit, or you have to return them, yeah... the cost for SHIPPING IS ON YOU. So get this, you pay for shipping to get them, money lost. Then pay to ship them back... and what your'e out almost as much money as if you didn't return them. So it's a loose-loose situation. Do I pay the fortune to send them back, drive far and waste time and gas, or do I eat it and get stuck with shoes I can't use. Sure, I agree I am at fault. I should have looked closer at their return policy, I realize my mistake now. Hopefully I can warn others so they don't make this horrible financial decision too. I do not not shop much online, and all I wanted was to get something nice for my birthday. Instead this situation has caused me headaches, stress, and financial hardship. Steer clear if you're dealing with an online order and are not near a physical location!
The assoc ******* in North Augusta, SC refused to refund me my money. I had the receipt and the purchase was less than a week old. Her words were,"Yall ain't getting no money back from us. I was by myself. My question is, Who is Ya'll. It's 2021 and a sale associate was comfortable enough to speak to someone in that manner who was spending money. WOW. Never again.
My orders were supposed to be here a couple days ago & didn't come and my delivery day keeps being pushed further out... it's now saying I won't have my shoes until Monday or Tuesday... I'm not at all pleased
They never get back to you when ask to escalate info to supervisor, they never knew how to fix my problem and literally refuse a supervisor. Customer rep was so unprofessional and never even apologize. First contact and such a back experience.
Store has 49.99 shoes, then they ring up 64.99 after bringing it to the mangers attention nothing was done, after chatting customer service nothing was done and after calling customer service nothing was done, I will never shop at rack room again, hope it was worth 15.00
Answer: I would advise potential customers to consider whether they have a retail location nearby. While Rack Room Shoes has great pricing, their online return policy leaves something to be desired in the modern marketplace. In a day and age when return shipping at no charge is offered by many clothing and shoe companies on the internet, you will have to pay return shipping out of your own pocket plus be liable for any shipping charges taken out of your refund with Rack Room Shoes should the shoes not fit/work out for you. In the end, you might spend between $12 and $25 for the round trip shipping... and have nothing to show for it. After making 3 phone calls, and a week waiting for a return phone call that never happened, I spoke with Lisa, supervisor of customer service (800)248-0692, about this policy. She was polite and offered to refund only the original shipping charge. Internet pricing and no charge return policies being what they are at major online retailers like Amazon and Zappos, I suggested that their shipping policy being on the customer should be pointed out on each product page of their website. I am sure this will not happen, since it would certainly lower their sales to customers who don't live close enough to a retail store for returns. BE AWARE. I am still out $11.92... don't let this happen to you!
