Thank goodness I found happysmileuk.com as this company sold me a rubbish teeth whitening that never worked

I order a LOT from QVC. On a regular basis I have used them for years now. I have bought household items and clothing. If I don't like something or if it doesn't fit. It is easy to return. If I have a complaint it would be the cost of shipping to return the product. I have had to return several things and the cost is rather high... they will say "Try it for free". But it is really try it for shipping costs. Makes you want to go to the stores again.

The computer says NO! I did not receive a parcel every time I looked at the tracking it said order generated so after 5 days I contacted QVC was stunned to be told I had to fill out a form that could not be done online I asked the agent do I need to re- order as I do not want it going out of stock was told no... Well I later found out I could of filled the form out online that the goods I ordered was now out of stock because the agent did not re- order as she was waiting for the form to be returned I got a feeble sorry from QVC I complained I said the least they could do was notify me when they got the product back in stock I was told the computer does not do this! How about a person! They made so many mistakes I have been a good customer for 10 years how about making some effort needless to say when companies overlook the customer the customer soon overlooks them I have removed QVC from my shopping list no longer shop with a company who cannot be bothered to notify me after making so many mistakes.

I ordered an 8 piece Bare Minerals set for $56.94. I paid for expedited shipping because I just wanted it faster. They have easy pay as well to make it even more convenient without needing their credit card. The products arrived perfectly packaged and the day they said it would. I am so happy with this set. Separately it would'very cost over $150. Would definitely recommend.

I recently made a purchase from QVC, an item costing 39.95 plus shipping & handling $5.00, plus tax $3.15, for a total of $48.11 divided in to two easy pays of $24.05. OK, FINE. Got the item... it did not work for me. Quoting all of their hosts..."WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE? IF THE ITEM DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU, SEND IT RIGHT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND". My "full" refund for sending back this item was $12.10, not the $24.05 charged to my credit card. When I asked for an explanation of this, customer service stated that upon returning an item we are once again charged $5.00 for shipping AND the return label printed with $6.95 is NOT for shipping... it is for INSURANCE AND HANDLING. Total charges for return: $11.95. This is something new.

I had been a long-time customer of QVC, going back to the '90s (when Denim & Co. Was really worth the money; not anymore) and this insurance/handling "return label" meant something quite different. SO... for the privilege of TRYING an item on QVC (whaddya got to lose?), I now have the answer: $11.95. I told the customer service agent that I am going to contact BBB in West Chester, PA regarding their new and shoddy business practices. My advice: STAY FROM THIS COMPANY WHICH WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU GRIEF. (most of their merchandise is inferior anyway with the exception of Bob Mackie).
