I heard that Purina is testing its products on animals and the reputation of this company in general isn't very nice lately. I hardly buy anything from them myself, my pet doesn't complain about these changes :)
You're feeding your animal garbage. My dog used to love purina and I would gladly provide. That is, until I started reading the ingredients. Do yourself a favor, find an affordable dog food with meat as the first ingredient. I suggest tractor supply.
Many years ago I fed Purina Pro Plan to all of our dogs. Thought it was one of the best foods out there. Looking back, I wondered why all of our dogs ended up with some kind of cancer. Every single one of them died of one form of cancer or another. Never realized it could be their diet. Now I do research on which foods to feed our beloved pets, and am very particular what goes in their diet. None of our pets have had any cancer or lumps or bumps that so many dogs are getting these days, I firmly believe it has to do with the ingredients in the processed dog food.
Purina makes some excellent low phosphorous cat foods sold in retail stores that are needed for cats with kidney issues. The problem is that getting phosphorous data from Purina can be tedious and even lead to conflicting information. It took a lot of emails, calls and letters to get what I hope is accurate information. In the end, however, the product is good.
BUGS in the Beggin' Strips! Nasty! Gross! Unacceptable! I thought I was purchasing a quality product from a well-known company that's been around for decades! I gave a few to my dogs before I saw the BUGS. Which means I touched these pieces of crap! NEVER again!
Lily's been drinking Purina pro plan veterinary diets Hydra Care supplements a couple weeks now. I haven't seen her water bowl empty yet but noticed she is drinking more water then before using the supplements. Lily's about 8lbs they recommend 1 pouch for 5lbs of weight therefore I'm continuing to pour 1 pouch in a bowl the other onto her dry food. I'm doing this because she loves licking the gravy off of her wet food before eating it, she nibbles on dry food throughout the day.
I've bought from Lush countless times, and I have never been disappointed in a single product! I love their bubble bars and bath bombs, but the massage bars they offer are also awesome and the scent lingers all day. I always try different bath lines and keep coming back to lush over and over.
It seems to me that Purina now doesn't make such quality products as it used to be. But in spite of that, I still buy it. I like that the choice is so big. Although I heard not the most pleasant things about this company recently and now I doubt if I will continue to support it.
I bought a few packs of purina dry food for dogs and some snackies too. My dog loves it so i guess it must be very tasty! She ate everything and had a lot of energy to play. But i've heard that purina shouldn't be given your pets every day as it contains corn and their bellies mey hurt. I dont know what to think about it.
Purina professes to have the food your dog will love. Well, I have 1 cat and three dogs and none of them will touch this stuff. Is meat the first ingredient-for real? I highly doubt it or is it what they do with the meat they profess to have in it? I have one dog who will eat a variety of dog foods, but won't eat this stuff. Waste of money at a higher price.
Ever since they started putting Soy, Soy Protein, Modified Corn Startch in their cat food, my cat 6-8 hours later after eating one of their wet foods, vomits, like his body is poisoned.
There products are no longer safe for cats.
They are owned by a big company who does not care what is put in the dog food. Beware of all the heartwarming commercials out there and do your homework. These dog food companies are more concerned with their bottom line than they are with the health of our beloved pets!
Purina provides good dry and wet food products in different flavours. There are numerous varieties of pet products at an affordable price and can be purchased anywhere it is available or sold. Good healthy food for all breeds of cats or dogs for any age. There is even a food recommendation for dogs and cats depending on their age, what to feed them is helpful and useful information. Pets love the smell and taste too. Overall Purina is a great product for all pets.
My dog had a rice allergy(i know it is rare but well, it happens) and it appeared that rice is almost everywhere. Nevertheless, I've found good dog food here without rice. Doggo is happy :)
You don't know what your feeding your animals, l seen what was in the food, what you don't see is bug larvae. Be aware it can do harm or kill your animals. Unfortunately l learned the hard way.
Large cat tend to eat slowly but alot more. It cause obesity, joiint problems, and diabetes (look at the size of their urine). Limit their food intake. If you have a kitten, try to seperate him during feeding time until he is older, empty what he does not eat back into the purine food boox. Cats eat less when they eat, but much more frequently
We have used a number of the dog food on our guys and they seem to like all the different items from purina. From Benefuls to ProPlan. Never any health issues from the food.
The best products for cats are here. I tried different food for my sweety, but these products cannot be compared to others.
I feed purina because I usually have coupons, bu I add a touch of olive oil or a pinch of dried unsweetened coconut flakes or a bit of cottage cheese for extra nutrition and flavor.
I started my cat on this for health concerns. He has been doing fantastic and the quality of his skin condition gas improved a lot.
