I ordered a dozen long stem roses and a nice vase for my wife for Valentines Day. I even paid an extra delivery charge. Not only did she NOT receive the flowers, but they charged my card and even sent me a notice saying the flowers were delivered. I will NEVER order from this site again.

I would never, ever buy flowers (in the Box) ever again! Ads looks beautiful, but never mention that is all stuffed in the box, and by the time you get it, its wilting! Waste of money!

I ordered a dozen red roses with baby's breath and greenery for $80.00 to be delivered to my daughter yesterday for Valentine's Day. What I received was a "Hot Mess"! The roses were in various shades, dried out, leaves wilted and drooping. It was the worst arrangement I have ever ordered! I will NEVER, EVER order from this Company again!

Spent $70 for Valentines day and got 12 horrible looking flowers. Unhappy wife and I will never order from this site again. Save yourself some $ and an unhappy wife. The flowers were almost dead looking when they arrived.

The flowers and vase were dropped off in a box by FedEx. My wife had to assembly the flower arrangement. I paid a lot of money for a professional flower arrangement and got a box of crap sent to my wife. I did not see any fine print stating that it would shipped in a box and not delivered by a professional flower service. I look like a real douche bag thanks to proflowers.com. The deal was not special, the flowers are low quality and assemble was required. Stay away and let them go out of business. I would have been better off getting an arrangement from a grocery store and dropping them off myself. I attempted complain to them and got the runaround until I got tired of waiting.
What a mistake.

Well, I guess the site is decent and easy to use, so the star I have to give is about all it's worth. How often do you get to place an order in advance and avoid the extra charge for expedited shipping? For once I had the foresight to order a few days in advance and was excited to avoid that charge! An order placed Monday morning for a Thursday delivery - easy, right? The more time you give, the worse it is I guess. It's now Fri morning, and no flowers arrived on my wife's birthday. Not only that, but there was no warning or communication that this might occur. Timing is everything in their business, and they fail to accomplish that one element.

Love this site
April 4, 2013

Love this site. I have used in multiple times to order flowers for friends and loved ones. I am a working mother and sometimes it is impossible to get to the flower shop for birthdays and other events. Proflowers.com has saved the day many times. Prices are good and service exellent.

Dont fall for the $30 now and you get free delivery for the next year or so.
I paid it and sure enough, when I went to buy more flower arrangements, they said I never paid.

My husband ordered me an $80 Valentine's Day package which included 2 dozen long stem roses, a teddy bear, chocolates, and shower gel & shower beads. This totaled $80! They have a 7 day guarantee that the flowers will last. Well, 5 days later the flowers were dying, despite me adding flower food and changing the water every other day. I called them about it and they said they would refund me the flower cost, which seemed fine since I still had the bear, chocolates, etc. They refunded me only $29.99. So they are saying that $50 was the small bear, chocolates, and shower gel... all of which looked like it was from the dollar store?! I dont think so! Just for 2 dozen roses on Valentines day it was over $40, so how do I only get $30 back? BECAUSE THEIR GUARANTEE MEANS NOTHING. Also over $10 to ship. Rip off. Go to Walmart or the grocery store for your hunny, get flowers JUST as beautiful and deliver them yourself, and save probably $30+!

Never order from ProFlowers for a special occasion. I ordered (several days in advance) Flowers and a card for my mom for Mothers day. On Mothers day at 7pm, I received this email:

Dear Mr Baker,

Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery for Mother's Day. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery on Monday with a back up of Tuesday to include a note of apology explaining the delay. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Simply reply to this email and we will set this up for you immediately. Thank you.
Best Regards,

FE Doug Lagasse
Customer Care
Proflowers Florist Express

When I wrote back and told them how ridiculous this is, they offered me 20% off my next order. It's been 6 days since Mothers Day and I still have no flowers, no refund and no apology. So not only did they ruin my Mothers Day, they won't even try to make this right for me. Customer Service here SUCKS!

Stay away from ProFlowers!

I heard an ad about flowers, on the radio, a hundred blooms for $19.99. When I went to the site I found the flowers I was looking for and ordered them. I approved the charge of $19.99 + 4.99 s&h, a total of $24.98. To my dismay, when opened my confirmation e-mail, I found that the had been shipped and the amount charged to my account was: $19.99 + 4.99 + tax + 19.99 + 12.99 a total of $69.50.

No where on the order I approved, did the additional amount show, if it had, the order would never been made.

BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS SITE!

I did have extra charges from proflowers at Christmas time but I made sure the valentine flowers were delivered on a different day. Still, I'm glad for the other reviews for proflowers and won't be ordering from them anymore. Some flowers they will charge for a vase and other ones they won't. It is as if they have a quota for each order and will find some way to make that quota from the customer, regardless of what you order.

What a rip off
February 12, 2011

What a rip off - They added additional shipping because of Valentines Day and on top of that a care and handling fee

My order $29.99

Standard shipping $14.99
Guaranteed Valentines day shipping $9.99 - did not have the option to opt out
Care and handling fee $ $2.99

In short $27.97 to ship my $29.99 order. Very deceptive practices - DON'T SHOP THERE!

I placed a $29.95 floral Valentine order with a $9.95 delivery charge. I could not find a way to access the total order price and in submitting my payment info found that my $29.95 flowers were now $80.00 and there was not one way to cancel or even go back to review the order. I am pretty sure that I am in some monthly promotion for $12.95 and even tho the options to check these problems out were given they did not respond to commands and defaulted back to the main page instead. I am among the poor and ordering flowers was something I did solely because I am having heart surgery on Valentine's day, my kid's live in Hawaii and I wanted to let them know that I loved them. My experience tells me that this company has set thier website up to take advantage of customers. It is deceptive and dishonest!

Be warned
May 3, 2010

Be warned. Do not fall for their free shipping gimmick. They just sign you up for an automatically recurring monthly fee "service" called freeshipping.com. A total gimmick. They ask for your credit card information to 'refund your shipping" and then after you enter it they tell you you'll be charged monthly for some lame "service" you'll never use.

I ordered a panda bear with bambo plant for valentines day. Without advertising there was an extra cost for next day/guaranteed delivery or even asking if I wanted these services, they just charged it in addition to the 12.99 delivery charge. Cost of bear was $40.00, (and after seeing it its worth about $20.00) The charges for deilvery: $26.95. I have complained to no end. The are not hearing me. I read that scam about the free delivery. No deal there.
I will never buy from them again and if your'e smart you won't either!
