No refund or credit given for COVID-19 timelime.
They are money grabbing greedy thieves...
They hide behind contracts and have no heart...
I rented a room at super 8. They took my money and gave me a confirmation of room. When I went to hotel desk they said Priceline did not pay them. The rep from Priceline said their company credit card isn't working.! They said they would give me a refund but have not seen it. I stood outside with no shoes on in my pajamas. No room key to get my stuff Inside my room. I stead they asked if they could relocate me. After I already paid! I will file some laulwsuit if this is not refunded fully
They sold me hotel Americas Best Value Inn - Satellite Beach dirty, with bugs and cockroac and they charge me although I wasn't stay in that hotel.
They don't refund even it is their fault that the sell horrible service.
The hotel my wife and booked was Sleep inn of leesburg, Florida. When arriving to the hotel we instantly noticed a urine odor walking inside the hotel. My wife asked to see what the room looked like before checking in. After seeing the rooms, we were disgusted by the stains on the line and the odor of burnt tobacco. The hotel clerk showed us another room and that room appeared to not be cleaned as well. We then asked the clerk if a refund was possible and she prompted us to contact Choice Hotels due to giving a refund being out of her hands. We followed thru and was granted a refund by a customer rep from choice hotels by the name of Lilly. Lily explained that being that we booked thru a 3rd party "Priceline" that she had no access to process the refund herself but we would have to contact the 3rd party " Priceline" to have them refund the funds. The customer rep at Priceline called the hotel clerk who told them what she had told us about the refunds were above her pay grade. Priceline didn't want to take the time to contact the proper person to issue us the refund. I would never book with Priceline again not would I recommend their services to anyone. They are apparently okay with false advertising from hotels with pictures on their website that doesn't match the hotels look to date. They don't care that their customers health is at risk, by allowing hotels to book rooms in a dirty environment and refuse to uphold what a 3rd party booking site guarantees. I urge you and anyone else to leave Priceline website as go book elsewhere. Especially in these times with the pandemic going on be very careful with where you lay your head because the condition of hotels in need of money doesn't matter to any of the customer relations department employees.
I have cancelled multiple hotel rooms with Hotels.com and no problems. Southwest Airlines gave me a credit towards future flights. Well Priceline says no to refunds despite a shelter in place in the city we were to travel to and all parks, restaurants, and businesses closed. That's right they keep your money despite a global pandemic. I was actually asked "why would you want to cancel the rental car?"
I am a Nurse and I booked a car rental for a trip before Covid-19 hit. I was able to change my flight on United no problem. United transferred my dates with no fees and no headache. I attempted the same with my car rental through Priceline and the best they could offer me was 10% off my next purchase. I requested to speak to supervisors and managers and it was a total waste of time and energy. They didn't even attempt to contact the company to see if I could change my reservation.
I am an essential healthcare worker, working around the clock for the pandemic health crisis which changed our world and economy over night, except for Priceline! If you purchased anything through them you are screwed!
I planned a trip to see my God Parents in May who are up in their 80's. I am 61 and my husband is retired, I am the one working. I was able to cancel my flight due to the health situation across the globe. I tried to cancel my hotel reservation which are more that $800.00. They refuse to reimburse me my money, and want me to contact their attorneys to ask my questions. I was told I have no viable reason to get my money reimbursed. This makes Price Line.com thieves. They will steal your money and they have attorneys that write the contracts specific ways so they can keep your money. Please do not use Price Line, they are about as evil as any company can possible get. We will never use them again, this was a costly error on my part. Confirmation # *******
Never would i recommend PRICELINE OR AGODA. The entire country is shut down and they refuse it give me a refund. EVERY other company or hotel has fully refunded their customers but NOT PRICELINE. They won't even respond or contact their customers, if they have no compassion during COVID times then they deserve NONE of our time once this is over
Refused to return my money for a rental car
We were unable to travel because of stay at home order and they REFUSED to return money for something I never used. Even during a national emergency they refused to help. STAY AWAY
Price line does not even deserve a 1 star. During this horrific time in the world you can not reach them by phone or any other means. The US has said no traveling and my destination will not let you in. Priceline is no where to be found to help resolve my issues. Will NEVER use them again and will recommend every one to do the same.
Plan to fly my wife and daughter to Florida. Trip canceled due to current pandemic. My older daughter was traveling on the same flight. She booked directly with American Airlines, I used priceline. She received 100% refund for her flight. Priceline offer credit to fly later. Not considerate under the current national state of emergency. Will go directly to airlines in the future
I searched for hotels near a certain zipcode. The site offers a sort of "deal" where you can get a very substantial discount on a choice of 3 hotels. They dont make it obvious that the hotel will be chosen for you, it instead appears as if you get to choose which hotel you want.
I thought I was booking a hotel near my destination. I ended up being booked at a hotel that is an hour away. I told them this was a mistake and will ruin my trip, and that I'm more than happy to pay for a different hotel. Customer service told me that agreeing to the purchase was agreeing to no refund. This wasnt made obvious either.
Basically, I was scammed out of $250 dollars for not reading the "fine print". Youd think there would be some leniency during a pandemic, but no. No refund, no attempt to correct the issue, Priceline just collects the money for a hotel room that will literally be empty because it's useless to me. And I have to buy an entirely different hotel now, which will bring the total lodging amount of this 4 day trip to well over $600.
Thanks Priceline! I will never give you business again.
I have been a loyal customer for years and insist my 18 employees use Priceline for hotels and cars. Booked a car through Priceline for Hawaii and because of the Pandemic and two-week quarantine required in Hawaii now, I canceled my hotel and airline - no questions asked. When I called Priceline, they said Thrifty car wouldn't allow me to cancel. I called Thrifty, they said no problem, but they needed a waiver from Priceline. Called Priceline again - they 1st went with the Thrifty not allowing it excuse and then said they would have to look into the matter. They are a Horrible, deceitful company during a national crisis.
They will charge you USD, lie about their fees and then attempt to charge you 50% of your reservation if you attempt to cancel when you find out how crooked they are. You have been warned!
I reserved a car with Avis Rental Car thru Priceline. This was my 1st and will be my last reserving anything with Priceline. They have shown me they value money over customer service and their customers.
I spoke with an Indian lady. She refused to work with me, she then transferred me to another Indian lady and claimed she was a supervisor and explained the supervisor would tell me the same thing she told me and the supervisor did. I didnt get a name from either woman because their accent was very strong. Its awful during
The COVID-19 epidemic they refused to issue credit to their customers while all other airlines and travel agencies were doing so and working with their customers. I had no other problems with hotels or airlines. I prayed and called back and spoke with Sherry very good English. She cancelled my Priceline reservation and issued refund. To God be the Glory. Sherry gets 5 Stars for her Exceptional Customer service. I will never in my life use Priceline again.
Priceline provided false advertisement. Saying they offer an express deal for 47$ a night at a hotel they select. When selected i arrived at the hotel who then told me i needed $100 down ontop of pricelines payment. So now a room i was told was $47 dollars went up to $147 and when i called back saying it was not written anywhere they told me my money id held i can sleep on the street in the world wise Corona epidemic. Never again will i use ot reccomend priceline to anyone and i book hotels 5 times a week. Horrible serivce snd horrible values.
Never again will I book through Priceline. We made our reservations well in advance and I was aware of of the cancellation policies. However, due to the coronavirus our cruise was cancelled. You would think they would change their rules for a global pandemic but NO Not these greedy B*******s. The whole world is upside down and they wont budge. We have lost over $600 with them. I will never again book though this site.
Do not waste your time and book a hotel through these corporation. They are not concerned about you well being at all. After booking a hotel through them I asked for a refund because I could finally come back to my home after having my septic tank pumped. Chase was his name he is a supervisor! Please fire him immediately but I'm sure nothing will be done. Look at all the crappy reviews!
Please read info from Thrifty site regarding adjustments on car rentals due to Coronavirus outbreak. This was taken from the Thrifty site. Showing that Thrifty is being honorable.
During this time, we recognize flexibility is more important than ever. At Thrifty, you can get the absolute best car to fit your needs without having to pay in advance. As always, Thrifty allows you to pay for your rental at the time of pick-up with no cancellation fees. Should your plans change, adjusting existing reservations is easy on Thrifty.com.
We added flexibility for prepaid reservations, including waiving cancellation and change fees for travel restricted areas. Additionally, all prepaid reservations booked prior to March 13th can now be extended toward reservations used within 24 months with no fees. Customers still have the option to cancel with applicable fees. Customers who booked through third-parties are encouraged to contact that party directly.
We are continuing to monitor this evolving situation and will keep you informed of future updates.
But on the other hand, I called Priceline and this is what was told to me, they are honoring Thrifty's guidelines. This is what they are telling me. Priceline will "Not" give me a refund or postpone my reservation. I wanted to postpone my reservation so I can use it at a future date. I booked my reservation through Priceline on March 5th. They are not honoring Thrifty's information as I was informed on the phone.
Do Not Use Priceline.
Priceline isn't giving people's options to reschedule their flights during this sad period we are going through. We can't get hold of them to make and changes or cancelation. I have a flight in 72hrs but I don't feel safe traveling because of the Corona breakdown.
This company is steeling from people and helping spread Covid-19 around the globe.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
