Don't ever use these guys. Terrible service, will not make reasonable accommodations for customers, will not change flights despite notice. They act indifferent about it over the phone, and have deals set up with credit cards to override/prevent disputing of charges.
Don't booking your reservation here, bad experience, we never even open this page again. Terrible customer service, bad English speaking hard to communicate, plus big layers promise everything to sell, later you will have headache. Stay away from this company. Sincerely.
Spent over an hour on the phone in regards to a cheaper advertised listing to only get hung up on. SO then i go to chat. I found a room advertised almost $100. Double room is how it was listed (which we know, that means two beds, because you can't find three damn people in one bed!) and priceline listed the room as double bed's. I said, ugh, same thing. The rep says "it depends on the hotel" WTH did i just fall into another dimension?!?!?! Dude, we are talking about the SAME hotel, just a different website! They clearly don't want to follow their price guarantee as they advertise. Lost total respect for this company. Nobody like a liar. No longer want to book through them. Done!
Priceline places ads under google listings while searching for hotels or resorts that are not listed with them. These ads show misleading prices of other properties and misleads the customers. Awful business practice. Keep away from Priceline.
Booked a car rental for 10 days had to leave due to family emergency and two reps told me the fees for the days unused were non refundable and kept repeating the statement. I understand having a policy in place but they could not offer any other solutions to help in my case. Either use of another rental credit at a later date or a partial refund. This says a lot to me, it says "We at Priceline don't care what life brings to our customers we are not Giving one dime/credit back to you!". This will be my very last time ever using them. And I hope no one else does as they don't value customers that have emergency life situations.
Booking online was not a challenge, but getting any sort of legitimate assistance when we needed it? Impossible. Priceline's customer service was among the worst I've ever had to interact with. Between incorrect information, complete lack of follow-through, and a ridiculous and insulting "resolution" to our problem (weather-related flight cancellation), I will NEVER use Priceline again. And I will make sure none of my friends or family do either. If you're reading this, don't waste your time with Priceline. You can get the same prices anywhere else and the customer service will be better.
Priceline is first and foremost a scam. I was double charged and put on 'customer service help' for over 6 hours yesterday. I was double charged on Paypal and Priceline keeps sending me in circles. The average response time during a customer service chat, messaging or phone call is about 20-30 minutes.
This place stole $250 from me right during the height of Black Friday Christmas shopping and everytime I try to contact them I can't get through. Today apparently their 'site is down'. I do not ever recommend anyone using Priceline. It was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel reservation- and I did 10 years of travelling soccer with 2 boys! Stay away. Don't give them ANY access to your money. They steal it and refuse to even talk to you about getting refunded.
Went through Priceline to rent a car for an upcoming wedding this July in CA. Saw their 4+ star rating for Mex Rent a Car and the price was good so confirmed. Then got the email confirmation with a Mexican phone number to call and thought WTH? Started researching and found the 1 star ratings full of customer complaints of fraud, misinformation and lies. Called Priceline 15 minutes after making my rental reservation to cancel and they send out the token "wait 10 days" email. 10 days later they tell me they haven't heard back from car rental company and to wait until they do. I then ask for a supervisor who tells me the reservation can't be cancelled. Sorry, CA has a law giving consumers 3 days to cancel. Priceline disputes that. I will never use or recommend going through Price for anything... EVER.
We have been using Priceline for years and never had a problem. But the 1st time we actually needed to speak to a live person because of an issue that needed addressed - nobody will call or e-mail us back! We've been trying to reach someone now for 5 days and it's complete silence on the other end! Now I'm reading other reviews of others needing refunds and Priceline blowing them off. So - as long as everything goes perfectly with your travel plans (which of course you can't tell the future), then great. But don't expect any acknowledgement if you need anything or have any issues.
Booked a room that stated "cancellation until 7/2" but apparently that just gave me an option to cancel WITH a fee. Very deceptive bait and switch practices. Make sure you read all the fine, fine, print where they hide all the stuff they don't want you to know about but will gladly put "cancellation until 7/2" in big bold letters on the top of the 1st page. And don't think you can sweet talk your way into getting help from customer service. I guarantee everyone you speak to will not do anything or give a damn about it. Priceline is a sinking ship with unethical and illegal business practices! Maybe if enough people complain, something can be done about it.
I selected a hotel based upon the 7+ rating review priceline had for them. Only to learn later that the positive reviews were 3-4 years old and the hotel is now one of the worst many have ever experienced. Almost all ratings since 2020 are 1s due to rooms not being cleaned (yes, dirty sheets from previous guests, dirty toilets, etc). I slept on a dismantled futon in my car in 30 degree weather over staying at the hotel that priceline advertised as being one of its best... and still paid $85.
I am deeply disappointed that Priceline has offered no flexibility in their cancellation policies, even in light of unforeseen COVID-related changes to travel plans. In my case, my country of residence shut down the border mere weeks before our family's summer trip home to the US. So we had to cancel everything. The airlines and hotels gave us full refunds, no problem. The $1400 rental car we booked through Priceline did not... not even any account credit. I have been a longtime customer of Priceline's, and will certainly avoid booking future vehicles through the Booking Holdings family of sites. I understand that the policy must be stringent in normal times, but I would have expected some flexibility in light of COVID-related travel changes. It's bad enough that my family has been unable to visit home for going on 2 years; but being told that Priceline is keeping the full amount of my unused car rental payment is just one more big gut punch. Terrible stuff.
I live in Melbourne and booked a sydney hotel through priceline, was informed "Cancellation free". I made the booking 1 and a half month before the travel and changed my schedule the very next day, which certainly in the cancellation free period. I cancel the bookings, my credit card account shows an international transaction fee, which is 3% of the total cost.
I contact priceline. They deny it's their issue and asked me to contact another company which I don't even deal with.
Very tricky charging first, horrible customer service later.
Would have to avoid dealing with them in future.
If you want use them, think again.
Be aware of those crooks they will rip you off not only once but will keep doing it for ever.
I just seen another charge on my credit card account from March of 2022 and my reservation was canceled within the first 30 minutes of car reservation. Save your self and go elsewhere please.
They double booked me on the same flight. No notification about the double booking. 26 hours on hold, 18 different calls, 9 different supervisors, and no resolution on the issue in 6 weeks. Instead I have 900$ of an extra ticket sitting on my credit card. Supervisors keep promising call backs and resolutions, but there has not been a single one. This company just lies and frauds you out of your money. Avoid at all costs. I would gladly pay 200$ extra dollars to book directly on the airline's website instead and save the hassle.
Worst customer service, just hangs up on me. They put false advertisement saying if I call then I get a better deal. All lies, turns out its more expensive. Priceline used to be decent, now it's just trash.
Do not waste your time and book a hotel through these corporation. They are not concerned about you well being at all. After booking a hotel through them I asked for a refund because I could finally come back to my home after having my septic tank pumped. Chase was his name he is a supervisor! Please fire him immediately but I'm sure nothing will be done. Look at all the crappy reviews!
I have used Priceline for years and have had several bad experiences. Once they get your money your screwed. So-called customer service will just give you the run around for days. Save yourself some headaches use another method
I booked by accident on Priceline while shopping around & called immediately to cancel. They refused to understand human error, I begged. Nothing. Zero support. I filed a claim with my bank and then lost it 3 months later. Now nearing the holidays they took $249 I can't afford, I'm barely making it and no one understands or will help. Don't book with them, because you're just a pay day to them.
First of all, I try to reserve a room/flight online and have issues, when I contact their customer service# I'm told my booking went up by $50 and that's because their travel rates are constantly changing. Ok, fine (even though is was within 5 minutes ago). I receive my credit card statement and I'm charge the higher booking fee and the one that's-$50. I am outraged, I call... come to find out I was booking with a "Online Reservation"company as well as Priceline. How did I book with another travel site, off of Priceline's website? Both travel companies are not allowing me to cancel without charging me fee's, this is total BS!
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
