Priceline doesn't deliver what they're offering. They always offer you hotels that are full and the prospective hotel will tell you there's no room available and you are forced to take a low grade hotel that is far lower price than what you paid for. I'll never use their service again.
I purchased 2 business class round trip tickets only to find out that Priceline gave me the first part of the flight business class and the second flight economy. This was way also on the return flight. When I called them to rectify this situation (not once but several times) they said they could not change the seating. I paid $1689 for nothing! I am so… angry at their unethical business practices.
The worst customer service ever. I book a reservation via the Priceline site with an hotel in NYC. During my check out the hotel ask me for the resort fee that they collect by directly. I noticed their is a different of 80$ between what I should pay and what the hotel charge me (the same issue happened to my colleague).
I contacted Priceline, and after almost a month they still "trying" to solve the issue.
One of the worst customer service I ever got.
Never will use them again.
Never use Priceline to book a reservation for a hotel room. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had. I accidentally used the automatic date in the calendar for my check in date and I have been trying to change it since the second I made the mistake- for a week now. Their automated customer service rep. Told me that they could not change the date or cancel it. You can forget speaking to a real person. I called the hotel and made the correct reservation through them, which was only a few dollars more. That's what I'll be doing from now on. Trust me, it's not worth losing the customer service. I will never use this company again.
I bundled my flight and car rental through priceline.com. They flew us into an Airport 30 miles away from my car rental ( it was at the other airport in Houston). After 3 hours of calling had to pay $200 to travel back and forth to get me rental! Was told over and over I should have read contract. Who does that?! That blamed me for not noticing my car was at Hobbs, meanwhile I landed at Bush! Horrible customer service! They booked it and said it was my fault!
I booked a hotel room through them and guaranteed a reservation among three hotels and would reveal the actual hotel name which they did. It is over a month that the hotel does not have my reservation and price line customer service kept telling me that they are working with their partner to sort out my reservation. Although Priceline charged my credit and provided my hotel confirmation. Go figure. It appears that Priceline is running a scam reservation system. Think twice before you use Priceline DEALS.
Price line is not what they use to be period. Go anywhere else, even nowhere else would be good. At the cost of my lively hood they burned. They took my money and left me without the car I was promised. I had to be in Seattle for work and now I'm burnt. Thanks Deadline
Hi everyone,
I had a bad experience with Priceline over charging me for my rental cost, I choose a $34 dollar cost vehicle and after processing the transaction it showed me a $49.99 cost for the same vehicle. This is a scam and their customer support team was not able to resolve my problem or generate any type of refund. This will be the last time I will be using Priceline and I suggest you guys to avoid doing business with a scammer company!
Priceline routed my rental car through thrifty in Atlanta airport. The line for this thrifty according to other reviews and for my experience today is hours long. There are no other lines at any of the other rental car joints here. Priceline should be punished by not getting your business for landing their customers at such a site. I'm sitting here with the rest of the world with one guy working at the counter when there are three computers. I feel bad for the staff. I feel real bad for the rest of these people. Priceline needs to do a heck of a better job working with their suppliers. Renting a car should not be like sitting in line for splash mountain at Disney world. Ridiculous.
I will never use Priceline again to rent a car as there is really no flexibility if you make a mistake (e.g. With dates or drop off spots). Even if you call right away. Any price difference just isn't worth it.
Biggest Web site scam ever it negotiates nothing i paid way more than just going to the hotels website and could cancel because they lock this crappy rate and charge your card... never doing priceline again.
Its my mistake for trying it.
1 star is to high
Priceline is too much pricey. Rate and quality of hotels do not match. I would recommend everyone once try to hire hotel reservation by their own self. Then you could know the rates.
Bye bye priceline forever.
Priceline poor customer service will not help you resolve problems
The Priceline Group is the worlds leading provider of online travel & related services, provided to consumers and local partners in over 200 countries through six primary brands: Booking.com, priceline.com, KAYAK, agoda.com, rentalcars.com, and OpenTable
Other priceline sites please be careful
We booked 4 nights at the Wyndham Days Inn in Lacey, WA and on our final night stay the hotel staff stole my wife's laptop, clothing and $140 cash! It is hard enough filing a theft report locally, but now we're home, some 2000 miles away. Priceline.com, who we booked this place from, essentially did nothing to help us resolve the dispute and what had happened to us at this hotel. Do not use Priceline.com, they will not back you up with any problems that you have with one of their clients!
Why are you destroying your credibility by advertising one price and then trying to sneak in a "Mandatory Hotel Fee" during checkout? If mandatory, then put it up front. Disgusting practice. Bye bye Priceline.
They booked 2 hotel rooms for 3 people as part of a package including 3 airline tickets. No choice but to pay the 800 dollar difference or lose the 1500 already paid, customer service said we should've read the fine print
Very misleading being charged in usd funds especially since I had my settings on TripAdvisor in cad funds. I'd give Priceline no stars but that's not an option. Contact customer service and they just sent me their policy
SCAM! Paid $100 more than if I'd booked directly through hotel. Customer service reps are trained to give you the run- a-round until you give up. I got excellent deals through Priceline years ago. Not the same now. They have become a rip off like most things
I spent a day and a half trying to book a trip with them. Kept hitting snags.
Customer service- abysmal. Chat is total waste of time. They keep switching you to different chat lines. Basically all say "I don't understand your question no matter how detailed you give the info.
Finally able to put in trip. Everything looked good. A few minutes later we get "the flights you've chosen are no longer available ".
Tried one more time- same thing.
Booked with another company- 1/2 hour later booking complete. No issues at all.
I would never even try to use this site again.
Priceline has terrible customer service! Website glitch lead to an issue with my booking. Agents were completely rude and unwilling to help out. Despite the fact that I've been booking vacations through them for years!
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
