Don't fall into the "package trap" with Priceline. I purchased this for my husband: one airline ticket, 1 day car rental and 1 night hotel room only to find out, the ticket was the only item included in the new, package price. I had so much fun chatting with one of their agent bots online. Wasted an hour trying to resolve. I have included a photo of how they misrepresented themselves. Misleading? I'd say flat out "FRAUD". Use any other company but priceline.
Be careful booking thru Priceline. I don't see any active hotel review link. Just spent the night in an absolute dump. Place should be condemned or at least not offered to the travelling public in Fort Lauderdale. No pool, no elevator, property looked smelled horrible, undesirables everywhere, no lobby just a drive up transaction window. Web pictures are all lies. You get the idea. Drive past and keep going. Oh and there seems to be no way to get in touch with Priceline to get a potential refund.
Prices car rental are quoted ex insurance so it looks cheap but they don't tell you that the insurance is excluded. After booking you cannot cancel or you loose your money. This is also very bad "service". At booking.com or airbnb you can always cancel but not here. Then you ask what the insurance will be. After 1,5 hr chatting with support! I still have NO QUOTE for the insurance. What? Then they promised me to get back to me via email about the insurance cost. One week later i still haven't heard from them. They just brush you off at support. Unbelievable, HORRIBLE
Scammers... horrible customer service. Refused a refund 2 hours after booking required by federal law. Threaten me with fees and penalties if I complain or request a refund. When I did they gave my credit card information to the hotel that charged me 171 dollars in bogus fees not mentioned in the policy as retaliation. Hotel was dirty and filthy with piss stains on the mattress
Will never use Priceline again for anything! Rented a car through them, and when I got there to pick up the car. They said they had no cars and it would be a 3 - 4 hour wait for one. Completely unacceptable, since I had made an advanced reservation and arrived on time, plus had a 2 hour drive to our destination. They sent me to another company that supposedly had one or two cars. Ending up paying twice as much for another car and they refused to reimburse me for the difference. Terrible customer and even worse company ethics. I would have given zero stars if that was an option.
I went on price line renovated nest western in tulsa went to hotel within that half hour went to pat for reservation and manager said they don't accept that type credit card but took my payment of 63 told me call price line so did soon as walked out no answer so today called nothing they can do slept in car in parking lot now deathly sick and payment gone guess I paid 63 for reservation of parking lot cause I'm without a home
Priceline is totally SCAM. They give different policy when we are booking if we wants to cancel then different ones. They misuse card information. Please don't use this app Or record your call while you making reservation. They scam my 837.07$ for nothing. Thanks
I bought travel insurance it shows on my receipt. I have called customer service several times for Priceline and the insurance. They still tell me they have no records of my purchase what a scam! Each one refers you back to the other it's terrible business practices.
Like many folks, I don't mind using Priceline to help save a few dollars on a flight. However, my recent experience on April 11,2022 was horrible. I booked my trip many months in advance - with only 1 day notice, my flight itinerary was changed without my consent. The normal thing to do is work with the airline to (a) ask why this happened and (b) find replacement options. For Priceline, you have to wait 30 minutes each time to speak to a customer service contact - they will transfer you to a "specialist" in the general queue and wait another 30 minutes. It will take 1 hour to process any simple request. Going forward, I will never use Priceline. All users should be warned that if there is a flight issue (change / cancel), you will be miserable. So much better to book direct with the airline. Thanks
I used to book on Priceline but have used Expedia for the last few years. I recently decided to give Priceline another chance with a package vacation. 30 hours after I booked my trip I had a death in my family and was no longer able to go on our trip. Priceline not only denied me a refund but also told me that I would have to take the matter up with Spirit Airlines…who of course denied me due to it being only 6 hours over the 24 hr cancellation period. I was devastated and will never use Priceline or Spirit Airline again.
I signed up to he a VIP member when I created my account. Then I booked a hotel and there is a price match guarantee. I rang them up and they would not price match. They were so rude and so unhelpful. Price match guarantee is a joke. Just use booking.com where I found it cheaper after. Or Agoda, trivago. Anyone but Priceline.
I selected a 2-year hotel that ended up being a Travelodge, which looked like a 1-star motel. The Uber driver said it was unsafe (arrests, prostitution, etc.) and urged me to stay elsewhere. I contacted Priceline to request a refund but was denied due to the non-refundable policy. I felt deceived by the rating. I even pointed out Google and Yelp reviews about this shady motel, and they still denied me a refund. Shame on you, Priceline. You have a responsibility to your customers for providing accurate ratings that are representative of the hotel quality.
I have been a platinum member, and regularly booking with them for at least 5 years. Never had an issue until today, to realize their customer service was terrible.
I'm unable to speak to a supervisor, line drops and long wait line and still nothing.
They advertise the wrong location on their website and no one wants to take responsibility to their error.
The service has deteriorated, hotels provide deception, the level of loss is sold as a hotel, at the moment. It's time they don't want to change or cancel, I do not recommend this service - I used to use it for 3 years now, I will no longer, deception and lies
Priceline booked and took payment for my resort based off of a false/incorrectly advertised ad. Once this was brought to their attention Priceline was not able to so anything for me and my family to fix or compensate us for the issue. We were extremely upset, our vacation started off on a bad note due to this issue and the customer service reps constantly hanging up on us and not responding to messaged. They were very unprofessional, not knowledgeable and all around no help. We will not be using priceline ever again for future vacation planning, and we are still looking into legal actions from this previous trip to Aruba. I suggest anyone who uses Priceline to call the flight, resort/hotel or rental car company they will be using to verify and ask questions before arriving as Priceline cannot be trusted. The ad was posted as an all inclusive resort based off the link but once booked and checking in the resort was not all inclusive and required additional fees to add it.
They book a fly that connect at two difference airport but you cannot get one airport with another.
Therefore we stuck in an international country and wait for them to source out the ticket issue for three days. I get lawyer to deal with them ASAP.
Went to purchase 3 rooms at a hotel and the price of the hotel was $147.69 + with taxes and fees indicated 166.92. This adds up to $500.76 but on priceline the Total Charges indicated $609.99 which is over $100 more ugh. I spent over 1.5 hours talking with customer service and they WOULD NOT honor the price of $500.76 which is what it should have been. So if you do purchase from PRICELINE make sure your price is correct. However, this is not the first time I had issues with them but it will be my last.
This company will process your order in USD without being transparent.
Hopefully, you won't have to proceed with a refund like I did, because they will claim to have free cancellation then after hitting the cancellation button quote you with cancellation fee they are automatically deducting from your refund. Afterwards you'll find out that your refund will have a difference of whatever the currency rate dictates at the time and the company will take 0 accountability for the cost you have lost.
Priceline has no concern about Canadian patrons whatsoever.
When your choice is to book for amount of rooms, you are not told that 1 room equals 2 people. It is not clear until you pay. Then the hotels say they can't alter third party bookings and Priceline tells you to take it up with the hotel. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
Priceline doesn't deliver what they're offering. They always offer you hotels that are full and the prospective hotel will tell you there's no room available and you are forced to take a low grade hotel that is far lower price than what you paid for. I'll never use their service again.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
