Horrible experience using Priceline.com hotels. First Hotel were listed as 3.5 star rating - turned out to be 1.5. Next hotel when we turned down bed - some kid had pissed in the bed. Last hotel - we selected an "express deal" thru Priceline at $108 (they do not give you the hotel name until you pay) the hotel turned out to e Quality Inn which was listed at $70 from other sites.

Buyer beware. Read the fine print. Priceline doesn't honor the time you actually rent a vehicle, they charge you the same even if you turn the vehicle in earlier than your scheduled turn-in date. Turning in a rental car early is never charged by ANY rental car company I've ever dealt with. Absolute frauds. Trust me. Just go direct with the rental car company. It's not worth the extra few dollars you save.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use priceline. They don't care if they rip you off for the time you didn't have a rental car, and take your money anyways.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a booking site. Normally, I use Expedia and decided to try Priceline because it was recommended to me. Well I will never use this misleading site again! I am very disappointed that no accommodations could be made to assist me in correcting an issue that their site fraudulently caused! First, you lock me into a booking where no changes could be made on top of booking me at the wrong hotel when your link for the specific hotel I chose which was supposed to be the correct link but after I made my payment is when I realized that the link was incorrect. However, charges will be disputed because of this fraudulent mess!
Tip for consumers:
The express checkout links are misleading and will have you booking the wrong hotel and then you can't get a refund back or update the correct hotel. I didn't even want a refund all I wanted was for the hotel to be corrected!

Priceline is the most dishonest company I have seen in a long time. I was making a hotel reservation directly with the hotel and somehow Priceline hack the website and made it appear I was still at the hotel website. Once I booked the room they added on over $80 in fees to the price of the room without disclosing the information. I contacted customer care and they were not interested in helping me.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use Priceline

Priceline is a huge joke. They have false advertising and dont have any concern for their customers. They will take your money and screw you over. It says free cancellation and says so many more lies. I paid over 200 dollars for my rental with my debt card but when I got there to pick up the car I was told even though I have already paid and had the card on file that I paid with and even had the card with me I was denied the car and now priceline is refusing to give me my money back. They are the worse travel site ever and their customer service skills are the worse.
Priceline is first and foremost a scam. I was double charged and put on 'customer service help' for over 6 hours yesterday. I was double charged on Paypal and Priceline keeps sending me in circles. The average response time during a customer service chat, messaging or phone call is about 20-30 minutes.
This place stole $250 from me right during the height of Black Friday Christmas shopping and everytime I try to contact them I can't get through. Today apparently their 'site is down'. I do not ever recommend anyone using Priceline. It was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel reservation- and I did 10 years of travelling soccer with 2 boys! Stay away. Don't give them ANY access to your money. They steal it and refuse to even talk to you about getting refunded.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT book with Priceline unless you want to have money removed from your bank without your permission and then spending 8 hours trying to contact their customer service with ZERO results. Avoid Priceline like the plague. They ruined my trip a month before I can even take it!!!

I booked a hotel in Michigan for two nights over the upcoming Christmas Holiday and I was double charged for the same trip and the prices were $20 different. I have been on messaging, instant messenger, texting and calling to try to get this issue resolved. Every text I sent yesterday took about 20-30 minutes for a response. I was trying to get them to help me from about 10:30/11 am yesterday and as of 6 pm I still had no result. I was just asked the same question over and over and they said they couldn't see anything wrong. I tried to continue on with them today, but their "system is down" and they say it will be fixed soon, but it hasn't been fixed in the amount of time they suggested. This site steals your money and then makes it impossible to get a refund. This little stunt of theirs is robbing me of $250 in Christmas shopping money over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping period. I will never ever use this company again. I will happily pay $20 more to actually RECEIVE ANY KIND of customer service.
Don't use Priceline. They booked us to use fox rental car.
Don't rent from them. This is a scam. The advertised price was $236 BUT when I returned the car they charged me $655. The total should only have been $290 total. They charged me for pre-pay gas even though I had filled up the tank and said it was nonrefundable. They put a bunch of charges on there and acronyms so you don't know what you're being charge for. I emailed them for a summary and got nothing. Priceline never helped us try to get an itemized bill from the car company either. If they're the ones booking the reservation and they should have some responsibility on helping us get an itemized bill for erroneous charges.
They don't even deserve a one star! We just tried to cancel our reservation because we had to cancel our trip to Florida and Priceline said NO! What a scam! Who gets the money... does Priceline keep it or do they give it to the car rental place?!?! Sometimes a discount rate IS NOT worth it! Don't ever use Priceline because they are just con artists!
I had to upgrade onsite or get stranded. Sixt had no intension to do anything about it and Priceline neither. I ask for reimbursement but I can tell you both Priceline and Sixt are telling you that they are not responsible. The only thing you gain is hours on the phone and the experience that you better not deal with this amount of incompetence. It is a shame that these kind of business practices are allowed. BIG TIME SCAM!
Tip for consumers:
Don't go with Priceline. It looks like a good offer but at the end it isn't.

Priceline is not worth the hassle. I book a king size room because I was coming in very late from FL. With the issues I had I was only going to spend a couple hours in the room for $185. They didn't care that there were issues i had. It was paid in full & that was all they care about. The rate wasn't 70% off as they boast! I was truly disappointed with their lack of concern. I will never use their service again & would not recommend them to family or friends.
I bought travel insurance it shows on my receipt. I have called customer service several times for Priceline and the insurance. They still tell me they have no records of my purchase what a scam! Each one refers you back to the other it's terrible business practices.
Tip for consumers:
I will use Expedia next time forget Priceline
I booked our vacation through Priceline and neglected to pay attention to the car rental company they were providing until we arrived at the airport.
Upon arrival I realized that we were assigned some company that I had never heard of called Green Motion. They were not located at the airport and we had to wait over 1/2 an hour for their shuttle to arrive.
When we finally made it it the rental office, we were informed that we could not use our insurance which is through State Farm because this company requires $500,000 minimum coverage. I have never encountered this problem before from the many well know car rental companies that I have used over the years. We were forced to purchase their insurance at $40 per day because the rental was non cancellable through Priceline. Such BS!
I surprised that Priceline would use a company like this thats obviously running a scam business.
If you book an auto rental through Priceline and they have you booked with Green Motion, do not purchase it!
Priceline is the worst travel agent to ever use. Try it at your own risk. They do not take care before booking your flight. My transit flight pass through country that my passport could not go through mean why they had all my information before booking the flight. When I was block in a foreign country could not even help to rebooked a different knowing very well that it was their problem. I book a single ticked with two travelers and at the return time at the airport I was told that I have only one traveler on my ticket mean while I paid for two.
We had an AWFUL experience with Priceline. They guaranteed us a hotel with 2.5 stars for one of their "special deals" and when we got to the hotel, it was disgusting. There were men having a bonfire in the parking lot, trash everywhere, marijuana smell in the lobby, smoke smell in the hotel room, and giant brown spots on the blankets when we tried to go into the room. Priceline would not fight the hotel to get us a refund because we had checked in (with the hope that the room would be better). Their customer service was horrible and it took me 2 weeks to get in touch with anyone to dispute the reservation. The same thing happened to my sister. We will never use priceline again.
I was out of state, needed to get home and couldn't get a flight so I rented a via Priceline with Avis. I had tp pay 26.00 up front to Priceline for the insurance. They never stated that I would need a credit card as Avis does not accept Debit cards, that was all I had, or cash. I had to rent elsewhere, and there is no way to contact Price line to get a refund. Terrible

This deserves a 0 star. I was booking a hotel for my upcoming vacation. I was going to be in the city for 4 nights, their website glitched and booked me in for 5 nights charging my CC. Immediately after making my booking I called them and let them know it booked me for an extra change weirdly (not even 2 mins later). And they told me they could do something but only after the weekend (3 business days later).
I called again during the week and they told me sorry it's a no refund policy despite it literally being an issue with the NOT USER FRIENDLY website. The customer service is awful! I now have an extra night booked somewhere where I won't be. But clearly from all the reviews they are NOTORIOUS for this. I wish I read reviews prior to booking anything on their website. Never again ….

If you have to cancel for any reason you are out your money. If you pay later they will refund you but if you pay upfront, they won't change, modify or do anything to help. Avoid this company at all cost. They will not work with you to make any thing right, they repeat their policy and keep all your money. Will never use again. Think twice before booking and hope you do not have any issues arise that change your plans. The rental car agency said all they had to do was call them and give them a code and the rental company would have made the modifications. The managers and representatives wouldn't help.

How disappointing Priceline! You are our booking agent on a flight with Air Canada for an upcoming trip. Air Canada refuses to offer a refund and will only rebook us on another flight with the same route by end of year. Our travel date is tomorrow and Canada has now shut down borders. How is this in our control? Why not a credit? We also purchased insurance for these flights that neither Priceline or the airlines are upholding. During these times, companies need to #dotherightthing. The way my husband was just treated by your agent is also unacceptable, shame on you.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this company!!
I used Priceline.com to choose a hotel with a free breakfast that would meet my strict dietary needs on my trip. I chose a hotel that was $20-30 more expensive than other hotels because it stated the hotel has "hot buffet breakfast". Woke up this morning to find that all they offer is hot waffles, which I cannot eat. I contacted Priceline.com's customer service and they told me that my receipt/itinerary doesn't guarantee hot breakfast. So the two pages leading up to booking the hotel that say "hot breakfast buffet" meant nothing and only the receipt after I had already paid said only "breakfast included". Priceline has pulled a bait and switch and refuses to rectify the situation. I've been using their service for years but now I think I'll be moving on.
I booked a trip on checkout the dates were correct. When my reservation came by email. The dates were off one day. When I called they refused to fix refused to help in any way. Horrible company horrible service now my whole trip is messed up. Horrible.
I am very disappointed in priceline due to the fact that I have hotel reservations for Friday, March 20,2020 and was unable to cancel after being advised that there was a travel ban Due to the coronavirus reached out customer service advised this is out of my control was offered a 5% discount was all they can do stated the cancellation could not be granted due to their policy even in the emergency situation which is out of my control
I tried to book on Priceline On their express deals, basically They don't have pictures for the hotels inside plus when there is good price on their deals they Don't give you the option to choose The hotel that you want specifically And they don't provide refund, this app is a joke. They give me the worst hotel ever check the pictures
These individuals that are on the line does not care about anything other than capturing the sale I tried to book airline reservations through them. I am so disappointed that my employer which is a Fortune 100 company has decided to have any affiliations with such a company. They passed me around from unknowledgeable agent to even more unknowledgeable agent. My advice, just book with the airline directly!
I tried to book a flight on Frontier Airlines from Priceline and after I put in all my payment information they said the flight was no longer available. So I booked a more expensive flight on Spirit Airlines to the same location. Later I find out they billed me for the flight on Frontier Airlines that they said was unavailable and which I did not use. When I contacted them about the error they refused to do anything about it. I will never use Priceline again. BIG RIPE OFF!

First time user of Priceline. Never again. It was a sorry experience from the start. We had to change the rental car pickup time due to a late flight. "Sorry, we cannot change the time. We have to cancel the reservation and start over. There will be an additional charge." That was the first warning things would go south. We got to Days Inn at 1:30 in the morning and checked out 15 minutes later. Wires hanging from ceiling where smoke detector belongs, light switches not working, roaches everywhere. It was a health and safety hazard to say the least. I turned the room key in and asked for a refund. The response was- "Sorry. If you want a refund, you have to go through Priceline." We called Priceline the next day and it was, "Sorry for your experience, we'll give you a 10% discount on your next booking." I told them I wanted a refund and the reply was, "You have to ask the hotel for a refund." It was a week long battle with multiple phone calls but eventually the hotel agreed to a refund but only back to Priceline. Priceline offered NO help in resolving the issue. Priceline credited out account about 3 days later.
