Please do not buy anything from Pottery Barn. I have made a $5000 order from them 5 months ago. 2 months ago when I called and complained because I have not received my kid bedroom set and I am so close to delivery and I have no bedroom yet. People at customer service are the worst and have absolutely no idea what is going on. I complained online and I still received no help at all. For the inconveniece we received $700 gift card (15%) compensation. Today (5 months later) when I called to cancel because I am fed up and decided to go with a company that is more professional, they deducted $700 from my refund claiming that they issued a gift card in the past. Have you every heard of this before? This is absolutely a first for me. For the record I don't plan ever to coming back to Pottery Barn and purchase anything from them, so for the fact to deal with all this headache and get charged $700 is absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend them to anyone and I will be placing the worst reviews about them and their service for how poorly I was treated.
I'm not sure what has happens to PB and PBK this past year. I have ordered furniture and holiday presents and the service was terrible!
I ordered a dresser back in the summer and the shipment was las 2 weeks late, then the delivery service never give me the 15min warning and I was not able to received my shipment, even do I spoke to customer service And told them
I was home 5min later after they called that they couldn't deliver my dresser!
Then I ordered furniture and holiday accessories for my kids On Black Friday, the order was sitting there and they never called or email me to tell me they had issues with my cc, I had to called them to resolve this, then I got my confirmation email that the ordered went through, called again this week since I couldn't track my order and they told me my shipment never went thru!
I'm so disappointed! It used to be so good!
I'm shocked at how horrible their registry experience has been. From so many things being back ordered for 4+ MONTHS or longer. To my registry never being updated as people bought gifts so I've received so many duplicates of gifts it's ridiculous! Then somehow one of my guests address saved as MINE for where to ship MY gIfts! To receiving many gifts with NO mention of who bought them to be told by pottery barn's customer service that the orders DON'T EVEN EXIST IN THEIR SYSTEM! People bought gifts that never showed up, ever, even with the right shipping address, I ordered bedding for our babies in August and was just nowncharged for them last week, yet no products have arrived and it says they are back ordered until December!?! This company is a JOKE. How is this many errors even possible? I've literally never experienced so many issues with one company in my life. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Will never shop from them again.

Probably the worst store policy ever! I purchased a $200 westport doll house for my niece. The house is less then a year old and she is 5 and prob played with it 4 times. The whole inside collapsed and is not fixable. I contacted customer service and they informed me that they have a 30 day return policy and there's nothing they can do. I asked to speak to a manger, was literally on hold for 20 min and got no one on the line. The phone got disconnected (how convenient) So I call the store from where I purchased and again they explain there's nothing they can do. I'm sorry but if you pay $200 or more for something it should last for more than a year!
I never heard of a company not honoring their products or standing by them. Clearly they don't believe in their products which is why they don't care to fix or replace a defective item. I highly suggest you don't buy anything from POTTERY BARN KIDS especially if you want your children to actually play with it and enjoy it for years to come.
The worst experience ever, Pottery Barn Kids registry is a bait and switch, they offered 20 percent off a nursery set, before the sale was complete they rescinded the discount offer, what terrible customer service, recommend you do not give Pottery Barn kids your business, they are a sham!
I am speechless at how frustrated I am with Pottery Barn Kids. I'm even more upset when I see how low the ratings are which indicates that they like just don't care. I ordered this kitchen in December and it said 2 weeks for delivery. Each week it would say that it was shipped but the date would move to the following week. 6 MONTHS LATER and 5 phone calls later to staff who kept saying the same thing, I finally asked to speak to a manager and they figured out it had "gotten lost in the warehouse." They delivered it in 1-2 weeks, and when it arrived and we assembled it, the last peace (the sink) WAS DAMAGED. I called the company, they said they would send a new kitchen and asked me to just replace the sink and send the rest back. Well... get this... THE SAME THING HAPPENED. It didn't arrive, and online it is following the same pattern - keeps moving to the next week. I am just speechless. I called again and they didn't even offer to refund me, do a white glove delivery or expedite this. They keep asking me to take the old one apart and somehow fit it back in the box and take it to UPS myself. Seriously? Their items are good quality but the delivery is abysmal and it may even arrive damaged. I was hoping that by leaving a review they would actually fix this situation (I have still not received the replacement, and at this point I don't think I ever will). But now I realize that they probably won't even read this.
I purchased a crib from pottery barn in February and just received it now! JULY 5th! This crib was a shower gift to my son and daughter-in-law for their shower which came and went on June 26th! And was told after a million phone calls and hours on the phone different promise delivery dates! It actually took me 3 hours on the phone when I demanded for a supervisor to go to the hub and look for it since they told me they don't know where it is! Huh! Really?!?!? You're going to tell me that after I waited 5 MONTHS of waiting?!? I told her I was NOT getting off this phone until they found it! 3 hours later they found it and scheduled delivery FINALLY! If I didn't do that I would still be waiting! I told them I wanted to be compensated for the embarrassment of not having my shower gift on time and millions of phone calls, hours, aggravation it caused me! They said after my delivery you can call back we put it in our notes! I called back, I emailed several times the supervisor Carolina lady and she ignores my messages! I AM FED UP!
I ordered matching lunchbox and backpack on 8/21 for my daughter, I received the lunchbox right away with a delay on the backpack, only to receive notification that the backpack has been cancelled 2 months later. They refused to take the lunchbox back so I could get a matching lunchbox and backpack, the most horrible customer service experience in a long time. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.
We have had bad experiences with the personalization services twice with pbk. I know the holidays are a busy time, but pbk items are not usually cheap, they charge for personalization, and they don't allow for returns if you do get something personalized. So beware if you do get a name embroidered on to your items, which is the only reason I ever even shop there since most of their items are usually available on other websites for cheaper.
Last year, we had luggage for each of our children ordered online and personalized two weeks before Thanksgiving so that it would arrive before Christmas. One of the two luggage sets was never sent and had to be re-ordered when it didn't arrive for the holiday, and then re-ordered again three weeks later when it didn't show up for a week after they said it would arrive.
This year we ordered three stockings personalized with the children's names and two of the three stockings are contorted because they monogramed it with the stocking top folded over. And of course, we can't return it because it is personalized. It would have taken 2 seconds to do it correctly and for an added $30, they should have done better. We had to use a couple dozen stick pins to get them to lay flat next to the mantel and thus rendered them completely useless for stocking stuffing with toys.
Needless to say, I will never order from them again.
I called today to the Pottery Barn Kids Vancouver Store to see if they had a piece of furniture. I wanted to make sure they had it because i had to drive 45 minutes to get there.
They assured me they had it in stock (2 of them) and they would hold it for me.
I called them before i left home to assured they had it ready for pick up.
When i arrived the manager (who i talked on the phone for picking up) told me they made a mistake and they didnt have it in stock. That i was welcome to order it online but it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive.
VERY DISSAPOINTED TO SEE they dont care about customers, they didnt even say sorry and i lost almost two hours of my afternoon for nothing.
Ordered the Cameron cubbies, cabinets and drawers for my grandson Oct 21,2021 and have not received communication or care as to why I do not have this wall system? I'm dumbfounded. How can a company function in this manner? Honestly, this has gone beyond anyones' patience. They have charged me over and over again with nothing to show for it. Nobody calls to set up delivery and set up? What is going on here. Several calls made over many months and nobody has answers or call backs from higher ups. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. This has not been my first encounter with issues with them. I was being VERY patient due to COVID issues but 11 months is beyond what I was expecting!
This is regarding the bank - Comerity Bsnk - which is my Pottery Barn Charge Card. Ordered nursery furniture November 27 over the phone. At the same time, I opened up a Pottery Barn Credit Card (Comerity Bank). I asked the Customer Service Rep to put me in the rewards program... did not want the deferred one year monthly payments. Paid my entire bill $2,144 in full and mailed the day after I received the bill. I've likely made a dozen phone calls to customer service reps... everyone gives a different answer. Some have said your $200 credit will be by email. Comerity - at least 12 messages to them - they said I was not in the rewards program. 1. My bill did not show a payment plan option and stated would be accrued interest on unpaid balance - I paid in full! 2. My $200 credit not mentioned.
I've been messaging them often as I'd like my credit that I'm owed. I started the messaging online in January 11 2021 - over a month ago. Filed a dispute. Latter in mail today stating may take 90 days to resolve - but won't have any disputed finance charge. NO. I paid in full immediately. I would never recommend this charge card. Honestly it's taken so much time and angst. The worst to deal with. Ever.
I ordered a holiday product, which the website said was in stock. And I found out three weeks later, after I called that it was no longer in stock. They said an email was sent to me a couple of days after I purchased the item and it was no longer available. The email asked if I wanted something else but did not refund my money per the associate. I called, after waiting for three weeks for my item to find out about the email. I had to ask for a refund of my money. I asked how this could happen that they continued to charge my account when they knew they were not shipping me the product. No one could answer. I asked to speak to the manager and the lady (associate) said she was the highest level. I called back and that associate informed me that they lady was not the highest level and after I asked how they were going to ensure this did not happen to others, they could not answer it. They just said it was a glitch that does not happen.
Very poor service and ordering process. I do not think their associates understand they could have a bigger problem as there is no root cause analysis being done. Very sad and I will not shop here again as this is not the first time I have had issues with their order system and back orders.
The size of the bed were off by an inch width and length.
I ordered the mattress from el Dorado, to match it and now all of the box springs are visible due to poorly dimensions
Pottery barn hs terrible customer service. Let me explain: we orders a full bedroom set for our child mid august and we're told everything would be delivered by mid September. That's when we started seeing the delivery link update to partial item deliveries then other items that suddenly went on back order immediately after we placed the order (how convenient that this happens right after we placed the order). Then after waiting 2mo and reaching out several times to their dismal joke of customer service we are told we are still within the delivery window, that same delivery window that keeps getting pushed back. When asked to speak to a supervisor or someone that hd any answers that aren't scripted, we are given the run around. If you go to their website it specifically says you can order the items we did order and have them delivered by nov17, our delivery date is December as of now because the items are "back ordered". How is that possible? They are blatantly lying on their website and obviously do not care about customer service. We will never shop there again. We are extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism.
The Pottery Barn Kids is a joke. The costumer service is so poor and not helping you at all.The quality of the product is cheap, probably I will buy a better thing at Walmart now;)

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waiting for nursery furniture for three months. Delivery continues to be canceled or postponed. I have called and called with no answers. Each customer service representative was going to "get right back to me". Finally I decided to call the corporate office. Reached a supervisor who investigated the order, scheduled a delivery and sent me an email with all eight items confirmed for delivery. Day of delivery... only three of the eight items are on the truck. Phoned supervisor again and was told "they couldn't locate two of the items". She offered to reorder the items or a refund. She really didn't seem to care or apologize that they lost items that were paid in full.
I was assured yesterday that another delivery has been scheduled for the remaining items. I purchased the other two items at another company. Please due yourself a favor and avoid a lot of stress, and don't buy furniture at PBK. I have been extremely stressed hoping my nursery would be set up before I delivered. Not to mention the amount of time I spent on the phone trying to get this mess straightened out.

I bought an item online as a gift to be shipped to Colorado and I noticed the shipping address was my address instead of my friends address. I called them immediately and the representative assured that she made the necessary changes. And then BOOM! She wasn't able to change it although she said she did and the item was not shipped to the correct address and when I called them to send me another shipping label for Colorado, they said we can't! WASTE OF TIME! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
I've dealt with this company so many times and just gotten more and more disappointed every time. My recent/worst experience has been today. I have my baby registry with them for the second time (huge mistake) not only it's the worst site to shop from for registry as all my guests stand point, they charge so much for shipping even if you have a registry. Now today after few weeks of having the baby registry and already telling all my family and friends about it they change their completion discount from 20% to 15% without any warning, notification or emails what so ever, even tho I signed up with them before they don't honor it. What a huge scam. I even spoke to a Costimer service representative 2 days ago about the discount and asks if everything on the resisgty is eligible for the discount and she said yes to 20% and nothing about it ending soon. This happens with all their discount items all the time but I didn't think they are this careless and have 0 costumer appreciation to do this. After talking to 5-6 head Customer service representatives and managers they basically said it is what it is you should deal with it. All they had to do was to honor what they advertise to lure you in for who already had the registry but they didn't, just like that. I hope they don't get away with this. I'm 7 month pregnant and I got so stressed out today and after 8 hours I'm still shaking. Shame on them.
