We monitor reviews for authenticity
Had made 90.00 from some sales. It disappeared into PM coffers and I now have to spend time trying to get it back... why would anyone use this site... they are total crooks
Buyer lluvia123 bought my item, then cancelled, claiming it was purchased by mistake. It was repurchased by the same buyer and after receiving it, changes her mind again, but this time claims its not authentic. I didnt have a receipt for my year old used item proving authenticity. Poshmark decided to refund the buyers money on the unproven claim that the item was not authentic. Dont waste your time selling used items on Poshmark unless you have receipts or proof something is authentic in the event you are questioned about it.
I tried to find some merchandise I have in mind and I noticed that some of the sellers from poshmark have the same item listed in ebay. I thought you can get a great amount of saving buying from poshmark seller?
Stay away from them.
I purchased a coat on Poshmark. Their sellers have 7 days to ship your purchase. I have not received a shipping email and it has been over 11 days nor has poshmark responded to me other than with an automated generic email.
Seller Luxyvip sells thousands of high end counterfeit Coach bags on Poshmark. He's not just a regular garden variety seller. I left my review and then "people" on postmark who know the seller started cyberbullying me for my honest reviews and experience that I had with Luxyvip on Poshmark. Right now my bank is investigating this fiasco. If I would've know this app has people employed in India, I would've never downloaded it. My cell caught a virus from Poshmark and an un-authorized sale was made also on my account once I filed a complaint.
I ordered a Coach Bag. It was not the slightest as it was listed. I requested a refund, to which they stated NO. Claimed I should have asked more questions to the seller. The bag was pricey. Poshmark offered me a $5 credit. Woo... I don't know about you, but I have to "try" a purse on before I decide if it's a keeper. A bag has to "mold" to a woman's body. I will now stick with buyers on Ebay that offer a return. Just ridiculous that there is a "no return policy." Ciao Poshmark!
As I started with Poshmark, I was enamored with the ease of posting items. Loved it. UNTIL, I had a scammer of a client on the other end of my sale. Poshmark immediately took their side, demanded a return, no matter my guarantee its authentic LV purse in new condition with pictures proven. They sided with buyer, who then, when never returned the item. So, they had to agree, I was correct they wanted the purse for free. THEN, AGAIN... my personal Hermès belt bought at the store, I never used so sold it. I got an instant 5 star rating, THEN Poshmark, pulled listing making client question authentic. They then shut my site down permanently! I dont have the belt, I dont have their so called proof! Give me belt and Ill take it to Hermès in Highland Park Village, Dallas and get REAL proof. You have slandered my reputation and business. This site sadly disappointed me. I am now losing income, due to their ignorance. I have seeked legal assistance and they will be hearing from my attorney. This is ridiculous! Sad to hear all the stories from the buyer side on this site too. Deeply offended. Research your facts Poshmark! Get fashion savvy help that does understand the words like faux, not pertaining to my belt. A faux pearl necklace that got pulled from my listing for being fake or counterfeit. The word FAUX means that... I might be from Texas but that does not me we are faxing the pearls! Educate yourself past high school!
Very unhappay as a seller on Poshmark, sold one thing the first day and since nothing. It seems more like a social media site than a business site.
Have hundreds of followers but no sales, don't understand how anyone makes money selling on Poshmark. I must be doing something wrong...
Do not sign up for Poshmark. I recently had an issue where a seller sold me garbage for a high price. I was out of town so I did not open my package until 5 days later. After 3 days, apparently they cant help you out. They just give you a $60 credit. Which is a waste because I would never shop on this site again. The seller has had no repercussions what so ever. Poshmark is no for the consumers.
I have purchased 5 items off of Poshmark and so far so good! A lot of the items I have bought are either new with tags or gently used and they were almost identical to what was pictured and arrived in a timely manner. I don't understand why Poshmark is getting such a bad wrap? I LOVE IT! It's been a great way for me to find the brands I love without paying full price. I am also aware of the items being sold though- I look at the sellers profile, take a look at the other items they have sold too. If something isn't showing well for example - a dress being laid out on an old floor or on a gross mattress, or the photo of the item appears blurry - I don't buy it. Some of the sellers on here definitely appear to be sketchy, but I am pretty aware of consignment clothes since I have done my share of both buying and selling in the past. Just be mindful!
I am SO glad I read the reviews PRIOR to even looking at the items or placing an order! This is RIDICULOUS. People just need to stop buying from them period. Instead, somehow make all this go viral because businesses are hurt when their pockets are affected. And also, consumers need to stop looking at items that appear to be gorgeous, etc and they cost $19.99 or $29.99. C'mon people, don't you think that most times the price seems way below average cost!? Welp, most times you get what you pay for. This site clearly is reaping benefits from ladies that just aren't thinking. Hope this review helps someone along the way. DON'T BUY, LEAVE THEM HANGING HIGH!
There's almost no customer service and very little recourse for buyers who get ripped off. Most of the clothing is overpriced by sellers who don't seem to understand the concept of depreciation. I have not bought anything expensive here and I advise others to proceed with caution. If you're looking for used designer handbags there are resale sites out there that back up the things they sell.
I placed an order Friday the 8th of June 2018 when I receive it, I open its And its not what I ordered, $300 I spent on a purse of my hard-working money The seller basically scamed me... I have sent several emails to Poshmark and I have received no response at all... I do not know what to do what I do know is that the customer service is really bad and for a billion dollar company this its not acceptable they should not be in business if they cannot keep up with the demand of the customers buyers and sellers on the site... its been 3 days and nothing has been resolved...!
Read the item description very carefully and, more importantly, read their policy about sales being final. I purchased a necklace I thought was the exact copy of a Tiffany necklace I'd owned that was broken. It was not that necklace and I even sent customer service a pic of them side by side. Didn't matter. I can't return and I'm out $100. Will never buy from again or recommend them.
I have purchased two items on Poshmark, only to find that the first item wasn't the one the seller had advertised. I did cancel and get a refund. Then I purchased another item, only to be told that the seller wouldn't respond and the item never shipped. This site should be put out of business. Someone who has the issue with an item over $500 never being returned to them needs to file a complaint with the state attorney general's office. If they get enough of them, they will be put out of business.
This company is awful to deal with and will not give a refund on a product that was not as advertised. I do not blame the seller that the size was wrong and seller agreed to my return. But poshmark was flip about it and said no refunds if the items doesn't fit and that I could donate it or sell it on poshmark... Lesson learned I would never sell or buy again through this company again. Bad Business model. I will never use this site again. Please beware and read their fine print.
Ordered a dress that was advertised as a woman's size M. It was a junior size M and had the tag that even said junior... customer service wrote back a somewhat arrogant letter stating they do not accept returns when items do not fit. Guess misrepresentation does not matter. I will never use this site again.
I bought a pair of sunglasses on Poshmark, and they were delivered broken. I logged on to the app to notify Poshmark immediately, including pictures and made it clear that I would be happy to send these glasses back, but that I wanted a refund since they were delivered broken. I have submitted a series of comments that are in "case review' between the seller and I, as well as 3 emails to customer support. And why haven't I called them u might ask? Well, because there is no customer service phone number. U can only contact them via email or through their app or website. They are horrible, and with all of these negative reviews online, there may be a class action lawsuit for all of the customers/sellers victimized by this site. STAY AWAY FROM POSHMARK!
We finally received our bag back from Poshmark. It took many calls and several emails and perhaps a threat of legal action. So don't give up. Keep pestering them and don't let them keep your items. Act quickly though.
Thank you to whoever posted a phone number. If I find it again I will provide it on another post.
Please read. I view high end clothing from fashion houses and buy online. I was targeted by this site. I write contracts so the 1st thing I did was look at the terms which no one ever does. This is the fine print. Poshmark tells you that to use their site you agree to the terms, if you don't you are using the site illegally so basically ANYTHING you buy you are screwed. However the terms state that Poshmark is putting you in touch with a third party, whom ever is selling the product. That's Poshmark's only job. They are not responsible if the seller sells you damaged, fake, wrong sized, wrong color merchandise. So you have no right to a refund with Poshmark. Your complaint is with the seller and you would have to go after this person. I know ppl don't want to read through the print but it is so important. It depends how honest the seller is. And there is no way to check.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
