L hade exellend high end items like chopard bad for 1600$ riginal is almost $3000 jimmy coo ect and someone repoerted them as fake, these bags goes from 1600, 3000$ and my account was shut without any question without any previous notification so l sent them a letter l take them to court let the city pick the authentic expert and they need to pay all what will cost. Horrible cheap site not for luxury sellers... will see
I have reached out to Poshmark 5 times in the last month requesting a STOP to their continual emails. I have turned off ALL notifications and finally even deleted my account, to no avail. Also, there is NO customer service phone number listed in the website. The last response was "keep in mind that transactional emails (ie offer emails, order emails, etc) cannot currently be unsubscribed from.". I purchased sandals earlier this summer, and now receive a daily message of current sale items. I admit I am not the most tech savvy person, but after reaching out several times asking for a stop to the emails and all I receive back is the canned response on how I can do this myself, and yet it isn't working, for this reason alone, I will NOT make any further purchases due to these never ending, unsolicited emails that apparently cannot be blocked. Extremely dissatisfied.
Ordered a silver key chain listed as new with Tiffany pouch & box included. When this wait for delivery exceeded their limit, they contacted the seller. There was no response. Poshmark then contacted me and arranged a full refund. I was very pleased in my dealings with Poshmark and would not hesitate dealing with them again.
Poptart57 can thank Poshmark for not making a sale. Saw an item on HSN that was sold in multiples (didn't need 4) and buying only 1 from them was only a couple of $ less than the company's website price. Saw a new one selling on Poshmark. When I tried buying it, got message that they recognized my email address and were going to text me secure site to set up an account. I've NEVER done business with Poshmark. 3 hours later I still haven't received an email. Found same item, same price on ebay. Took me less than 5 minutes as a Guest without setting up account. What a concept!
I purchased a pair of shoes from on of their buyers. The shoes arrived on Thursday and they literately fell apart in my hands. I filed a case on Friday (less than 24 hours)... They asked to pay return shipping to them. I spent $23.51 shipping the shoes back to them and now they're saying they won't reimburse the shipping because it took longer that 72 hours for the case to be filed. They apparently don't work weekends so when I filed the case at 1:37 pm on Friday they apparently didn't see it till Monday and that's my fault! So they are now not paying me the return shipping... NEVER BY ANYTHING FROM POSHMARK! Most everything on their site is fake anyway so buyer beware... DON'T GET BURNT... THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION.
Poshmark doesn't care about its buyers or sellers. All they want is a profit. The selling process is an absolute joke. The website was designed by people that have never shopped anywhere in the world. Nobody that works for that company has a brain in their head, they're all morons. And the sellers are cheap as f***! It's like a garage sale. They want a $50 shirt for a quarter. Stay away! Every other place on the internet is a better place to shop than Poshmark, even some of the scam sites!
They denied my return for a defective item after seller didn't disclose condition issue. Support really weirdly refused to respond about the claim over condition, just kept saying that it wasn't "misrepresented" because it was the right "size." I never mentioned size in my complaint. I said it was a condition issue. Looks like some dirty and dishonest corporate culture willing to support dishonest representations by sellers to make more money. I feel for the support underlings who have to respond to inquiries with canned responses that don't even apply to the specific situation. Stick to eBay for vintage/used clothes - way better for buyer protections.
I tried to buy off of this site twice. BOTH times I was messaged by the seller multiple days after my purchase to inform the the item didn't exist and have my money refunded. Since I actually like getting things when I choose to buy them, I stopped wasting my time with this garbage site. Clothes seem to be overpriced for what they are as well. Prob because poshmark takes one of the biggest cuts of any resale site. Anyway, great site if you like wasting your time.
They indicated the item was in stock. Once I gave to them my credit card number I received a message the item is sold and it will take 10 days for the money to be refunded! Don't DO IT! And I can't really afford the item I was buying it for a sweet friend that really wanted this specific purse that was marked down.
I purchased a David Yurman cuff for $300. First it didn't include the little bag although the picture had it. When I tried to clean it, changed colors. I have sent numerous emails and nothing. I never gave the ok to release the funds but they did. Now, Poshmark claims that there's nothing they can do.
DO NOT PURCHASE OF GREAT VALUE WITH POSHMARK.
Dress was severely altered and Poshmark didn't do a thing for me. The seller, known as drnatdc, sold me a couture dress which looked like it was altered to fit a munchkin rather than a human being. She also lied about how much she altered it in on the sides. I was so upset, I donated to the Goodwill, bought the same dress- same size online and brand new. It was for a special occasion and she won't ruin my party. I'm pretty sure Poshmark has bot responses, not real human beings. Prior to this, my experiences were all so positive, but this was it for me. Beware of seller, drnatdc!
I bought a 50.00 pair of sunglasses, they broke the first time I wore them! I wont order again
Please do you research before shopping on Poshmark because there are loads of junk listings that photograph well but once received leave you feeling ripped off. I've been a Poshmark shopper for a few years now and consider myself lucky to have purchased a very few decent items but its mostly been "hit or miss" and the misses are pure junk. I've deleted my account recently so I won't be tempted back by the nice pics. Tired of wasting my time and money shopping on their site.
HEADS UP: Most recently found that many of the jewelry items can be found on Amazon in bulk! Do your research before buying...
Listing was misleading. I asked to return and they denied it. Buyer beware! Will never buy here again.
I ordered a pair of black American Eagle sweatpants that they DONT EVEN SELL ANYMORE! I paid $20 bucks and waited a month for it but then the person selling the pants CANCELLED MY ORDER! I would not recommend. I did get a refund tho
I have sold a purse and it has been lost in transit for over a month. I have cotacted Poshmark numerous times and recieved no help. I have requested my earnings be released and recieved none. Poshmark says they protect the seller but in my case I feel like that is not the case. I no longer feel confortable selling expensive items and having no protection for issues that may happen out of my control.
Poshmark is very unreliable if you need their customer service. They allow sellers too many days to ship your item but they will remind seller to ship item out if and only if you complain. You can't cancel your order until several days of no shipping and again you have to be communicating with customer service to get anything done on your behalf. They don't seem to pay attention to what is going on and your order can be sitting around forever unless you contact them. If your item gets lost in the mail you will also have to tell them as they don't check this either. I guess they just sit all day shooting back responses that are prewritten for them through emails Intelligent bunch they hire.
The web site is a pain. If you search for say, 3 pound jewelry lot, you will get everything that you did not want like single jewelry items. This is a waste of time. Why search if you don't get back results that you want You get invited to all sorts of posh parties filling up your news page and offers from sellers if you liked their product. You can get good deals this way and it's kind of fun to haggle the price but all in all poshmark is more of a pain then pleasure to shop on

They hassle sellers and flag your items as counterfeit baselessly and at random. I was on Poshmark for less than 2 weeks and had 4 of my items flagged and removed. If you look at my store, any person with common sense would realize none of my items are counterfeit as they are vintage and unique items that China would not have taken the time to mass produce counterfeits with. Yet, their team did not have the common sense and continued to hassle. Several of my items were relisted after going through the trouble for contacting them. However, the items where "Mckenzie" was the one who reviewed my items were ignored and never relisted. These items had a lot of interest and I was negotiating with interested buyers.
It's about time sellers get off of Poshmark and show them legitimate sellers will not put up with their incompetent personnel and completely flawed business model of attacking their legitimate sellers.
Case/Claim instantly denied. Right of return is fake. Tech giant clears the transaction and takes the revenue the second you click. Poshmark is a scam. What kind of internet marketplace does not have returns for customers who are sent the wrong size? Answer: A Scam!
They sold me information to the dark web, which I obviously had to find out later. Beware. Amount of damage unknown, but I'm so pissed off it doesn't matter. I will be making a stink! Not impressed AT ALL.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
