You order something, the people never send it and there's ZERO communication, and "POSH"mark holds onto your money for 30 days. THIRTY days? They say, "Oh, it shows up in your next in your next billing cycle. Since when? I used freaking PayPal. Utter and total scam. Plus it 500,000 items of crap of overpriced Lularoe that keeps reloading. Complete waste. CLASS ACTION.

Just bought my first item. Within an hour of receiving filed for a return. The item had undisclosed stains not mentioned in the description. Been 4 days and still no refund. Giving me the run around. Any other place you have sufficient time and rights as a buyer to return an item. Especially an online clothing purchase. This site tries very hard to make you re-sell the item so they can make another 20% commission on the sale. Which is why they do not want to refund you and make you re-sell the item. Horrible. Stick to RealReal, eBay anything but this site.

I tried selling on Poshmark, it's my first time doing so. They didn't want to activate my account unless I purchase an American Express Card with a minimum of $200 on it, so I deleted my account because it defeats the purpose of making money when you don't have any!

They give shipping labels the day before the sale date instead of date your suppose to send out, which is unreliable because the post office won't always scan or even take it in some cases if the date doesnt match the ship date. Issue in their system really needs to be fixed.

Do not fall for it!

I do not leave reviews but this time I am mad. The customer service and policies are TERRIBLE! Twice I have ordered from two different sellers. Both times the item never ships and after 7 days they say you can request your money back. I did not ask for my money back because I wanted the items. Both times after a few more days I was told the seller no longer had the item so they would refund my money and it can take 14 days to get it back. Just because you buy something does not mean you will get it. The seller is allowed to just not send you item and you can do nothing to get what you have paid money for. Just don't do it. Use any other site but not this one!

Love It

I have been on Posh for a little over a year now. I started as a buyer. Now I sell too. I had one bad experience with seller false statements about an item. I reached out to Posh and the issue was resolved immediately. I had a package that I shipped get lost in the mail. Posh paid me and refunded my buyer too. So for me I love Poshmark. It's a great way to get rid of one time worn or never worn items in my closet. Happy Poshing!

I am in shock and appalled after winning a bid on ebay. The seller did a trade from this site. And listed the Saint Laurent handbag on ebay. After submitting the bag for Authenticity, the result was ......a fake. I don't even know what to do at this moment except cry.

I ordered a size 8 shoes, and when they arrived, they are an 8 wide. The listing was incorrect, and I have now emailed Poshmark "customer service/support" 4 times. They do NOT have a phone number to call for help. At first they offered my a $10 credit and keep the shoes. I can't wear them. Why would I want to keep them? I have emailed them 5 more times with pictures and screenshots of the original listing, my order and the shoes that are the WRONG size. Still no response. Poshmark does not care if the listing is wrong and you are sent the wrong size. They absolutely do not want to give refunds. Horrible customer service.

I like most others wish I would have read the reviews before I wasted money with this company. The sellers lie about the sizes and their products. You tell them that you need a size 7 shoe and you get a size that reads 37. That's not a US size. That's a size 6 from another country. They will not reimburse you your money back for all the wrong sizes they sent me. I told lots of my people about this company and they signed up now we have all deleted our accounts from this company. We're going to report them to 7 On Your Side and for all of you that got your money taken, you should too. Somethings gotta be done. They can't take our money and get away with it! With all the bad reviews, you'd think that the Better Business Bureau would get involved but they haven't. This company needs to go out of business because they are lying to people!

Trying to return a fraudulant item is ridiculous. Their customer service sends out robotic emails in reply. Stay away from this site, as a lot of sellers misrepresent their items and the return process is unbelievable. I tried to get a fake Tiffany necklace returned, and I had to do more work then the seller to get it taken back.

Waste of money

They have a no return policy. I have bought ten different items on Poshmark. One was okay. The rest were old, pilly and did not fit. There 6.79 shipping is ridiculous. I have wasted way too much money there and have half a closet of clothing I cannot use.

Sounds like a legitimate company but it's not. Lots of scamming buyers that will damage items, send different items for returns and screw you over. Poshmark doesn't care. They follow no regulations like ebay does. Poshmark takes out 20% and ebay takes out 10%, but at least at Ebay the buyer and seller are covered. Go ahead screw yourself over. Hopefully poshmark will eventually go out of business so a legitimate business can take it's place. Don't settle for shady illegal practices like poshmark.

I bought a purse and running shoes that reeked of cigarette smoke. So bad that I had to leave them outside. The few hours in the house and the smell was everywhere. I was unable to return the purse. I had put the shoes in the washing machine so I kept them. The purse is going to charity. It is a Coach purse.

I've been a seller and buyer on poshmark. The sellers do exactly what you can do on your own without the price mark up. Bargain hunt, shop at revolve, shop wholesale sites... Sellers aren't protected at all. Buyers get buyers remorse and makeup reasons to return or damage your item to get a refund. Poshmark does not care. I promise. I've been through it more than once. You will have an ulcer and be out money owed to you and you'll be on your own because their "team" does not care. I read the poor reviews and thought I'd give it a shot but deeply regret it. Try Mercari. Selling fee is 10% and in general things posted on poshmark are on Mercari at a cheaper price because the selling fee is less. Practically everyone lists on both places if not more.

Do yourself a favour and pass on this site. Poshmark is just a disaster. They have the poorest Customer service possible. There fees are absolute thievery! 20% and a portion of the shipping is just greed especially when selling something of real value. A lot of scammers on the site and they do absolutely nothing about it at all. Other sites are much more respectful and reasonable. I think if more people pushes back on this disgusting company they would be forced to improve their customer service and lower their greedy charges.

Purchased a faux pair of MBT sneakers which were not advertised as fake. They came apart from the soles and foam from the sides after 2 hours of walking. Could not contact seller directly but the company emailed me and was not helpful. I sent them pictures and they kept asking me to send pictures. I notified them within 24 hours of receiving the sneakers and they said I needed to notify them within 72 hours. Very confusing. I called my credit card company and lodged a complaint. The credit card co. Had a phone number for them but it was not a working number.

While browsing through the Brands option, under 10. Deep, i was revolted to see at least 5 posts, possibly more (I couldnt continue to look at it) pics of people asking various prices for "services" or, "me." One was a picture of a young boy with user name hump87. This site needs to be reported IMMEDIATELY! (I had to choose a rating of 1 to 5 above). A rating is inappropriate for this degree of revulsion.

I saw they had a pair of Rayban Sunglasses at a reasonable price ($111.00) so I bought them. When they arrived the lenses were distorted. I could not see through them. It made everything double. Double vision! Horrible. I tried to get an immediate refund! The seller questioned me numerous times like I was a liar! It was horrible! Then poshmark asked for pictures and I told them that you can not see the double vision in pictures. I told them I would send them their glasses so they could see for themselves! They denied my claim! Then I went to paypal to start a claim and paypal would not even except claims from poshmark... I wonder why! Thank God I purchased them through paypal using American Express! The Wonderful people at American Express refunded my money immediatly! I LOVE AMERICAN EXPRESS! DO NOT buy anything from poshmark!

When I first joined I loved the app! I thought it was great how you could comment and ask questions before you purchased and I sold a lot of my things on here as well. Boy was I wrong! So many problems with purchases. I have never bought something on the app I ended up keeping. The girls on here do not accurately describe their listings because they just want to make a sale. I recently purchased a Kate Spade wallet which I was super excited about and these things aren't cheap if you've ever seen them around! THE GIRL SENT AN EMPTY ENVELOPE. Or did not package the item correctly at all and the wallet was lost. Either way she labeled the envelope so it shows it was delivered. But empty. Not sure exactly what happened but I don't suggest the site to anyone. Too many young girls on here who don't know what they're doing. What a waste of money.
