Poshmark takes no responsibility for the actions of their sellers. Over the last month any purchases I have made have taken up to two weeks to ship. The *******@ganileys actually blocked me after I asked if she had shipped my item. A few months ago I was having great luck with the site, but over the last few months each purchase has taken longer and longer to ship with each seller. Once I get everything straight with my final two orders I will be deleting this app and only using Mercari.
Made a sale of three new and unworn items. All i can think of is that the girl didn't like how they fit, because guess what? She STAINED all three of my items and opened a case with "picture evidence." well, i had three STAINED items sent back to me. If someone wanted to make a return because something didn't fit, i would happily work with them? But to STAIN someone's items just to get them sent back? Why go to that effort? Thanks a lot, now i'm out three perfectly good items for nothing. I can't even try to sell them again since she ruined them, and these were were all 50+ dollar items.
Poshmark customer service seems more like an automated response to me. I purchased an item from what I believe was a scammer and they did not help me resolve the issue. The item was not cheap and they proceeded to make me wait the normal protocol amount of days before a refund could be issued. I have still not received a refund. I would not recommend selling or buying on poshmark.
My very 1st order was a pair of jeans. Yup... never received them. I cancelled the order as they were never shipped and I have yet to receive my refund. Customer service says they put the refund back in my Venmo account. Nope still waiting.
Poshmark has the worst customer service ever.
I purchased an item that was listed as the wrong size and sent them proof in pics. I had the same shirt in a smaller size and was trying to buy the next size up. So I was able to show it was actually smaller than mine. I did try to contact the seller and she refused to let me return it. She said Poshmark didn't allow returns and that I can re sell it on Poshmark. Poshmark closed my case saying I didn't send pictures. I did send pictures and I could clearly see them on my account. I could not find a number anywhere to call Poshmark. I messaged poshmark again and told them I had sent pics and they just need to look at them. They just kept sending me the exact same message every time I messaged them saying that I didn't send pics as requested. I asked for a phone number to call and they never would give it to me.
They are allowing people to peddle " replica" items such as Louie Vitton and Rolex watches and these sellers are failing to tell you they are fakes, what is Poshmark doing to monitor this?, uh nothing!
Stay away from the site. People should be aware of the fact that this bunch is located where? Snowflake Valley Cal.
I've used Ebay for decades and Poshmark for last few years. Poshmark is a great site if you want sellers who ghost you, argue with you, don't give you returns, and don't send merchandise in a timely way or at all. As an admin team they don't weed out bad sellers or give an easy way to alert to bad sellers (like Ebay). Very disappointed and won't use in the future.
As a buyer this has to be the most frustrating site on the Web! All week I kept getting onsite to find an item I didn't buy the weekend before and Poshmark would load only 5 - 6 pages and no more. The item wasn't there. Last night it loaded 52 pages (I went through them all) and there it was. Paypal approved the purchase and I was all ready to buy... but Poshmark came back that I had to identify myself on this $25 purchase and approval by Paypal. Tried and tried and tried putting in my password and user id... nothing. Finally hung up and didn't buy. Tried this morning and Poshmark would only load 2 pages. While I've been very satisfied with my purchases from Poshmark, hate using the site. Ebay is a much more pleasant experience.
I've sold a few things on Poshmark, and everything went fine. BUT when I've tried to buy on Poshmark, it didn't work out as well. The first time I tried to buy a pair of boots and was immediately refunded my money with no response or explanation why. The second time, I got a pair of boots that smelled so bad I had to keep them outside (my grandmother was a hoarder and things that came out of her house also smelled this way). Every time I submitted the form for a refund, I got the same form letter email back, but no refund or return shipping label. That was $96.
I have found Poshmark to meet my needs. I have found (mostly) truth in advertisement.
I like the bundle discounts.
I don't like the shipping & handling is the same amount even for one small item.
I love the nice notes from sellers that come in many packages.
I bought a pair of spangled loafers from Macy's for $29 (marked down from almost $100) and the shoes were fantastic' I wanted a second pair but Macy's was out so I spotted the exact same brand and style on Poshmart for $10 more. I ordered them but when they arrived they had so many missing spangles it was ridiculous. They looked like they were used in a marathon. I wrote for a refund and was outright refused. They said they the add mentioned missing spankles. Who the heck would buy shoes with missing parts? If there was such a statement, it must have been hidden, because I certainly didn't see it. I opened a case at PayPal and Poshmart were made to issue a refund, but they still refused to pay for return shipping even though their warranty promises return shipping if dissatisfied. So it cost me $20 to return damaged $40 shoes. My advice is to never do business with this company again. They are the worst I ever dealt with.
My seller account was suspended with no notice. I was informed after contacting support for another matter. I was accused of having counterfeit items. All my images have all tags and original packaging. I have proof of purchase for every item. They were no help just accused me and that was it. I have seen many fake items and those accounts are active. The customer service is garbage. No direct number to get help. Poshmark is the worst. Seller beware.
Poshmark was my worst experience on selling stuff. They don't respond emails and there's no phone to call for customer service. Poshmark don't respect their policies. They are money oriented but only for them.
Worst second hand sell experience. I use Mercari and Ebay and those are amazing!
Don't waste your time selling in Poshmark.
I made a purchase on posh mark with a credit card that I rarely ever use / first time I've used it in months and within 4 days someone used my card information to try to make purchases on BestBuy.com totaling $1600 and $3,400. Luckily I was able to catch it before the orders sent, but I'm certain it was someone at posh mark or the seller who I bought my item from as this card is only used 1 time a year just to keep it "active" and avoid charges.
I received a smelly coach purse and a sweater that was too small. I asked to return items and was told no. WHAT? Who runs a business like this. No one should. UGH bad experience... will never do business w/ them again.
I only sell authentic items. Everything I own is real, purchased straight from the store. Most items I have were way before the internet even was. All my James Avery jewelry was purchased at the James Avery Store here in Austin Texas. They keep records of all your purchases as well. Well Poshmark removed 2 of my listings of James Avery retired rings sighting they were counterfeit. Excuse me what?! When I asked for more details of what they were saying, Michelle at Poshmark came back and stated that James Avery contacted them directly. Oh really? He did? I had my personal attorney call the James Avery corporate store in Kerrville Texas. They did not go onto Poshmark and no one contacted them. Poshmark has some shady practices and I was advised from my attorney to not use this business as it is not reputable. Removed all my items and profile. Will not be doing any business with a company like this. Crooks and liars.
I am a relatively new customer of Poshmark but have made quite a few purchases. I have been happy with all of them. The variety and prices are great and shipping is quick. The site is super easy to navigate. Highly recommend!
I had heard about Poshmark and was looking for a particular brand so thought I'd give it a try. I bought a blouse, and when received it looked like it was 20 years old. Worn and old looking. I may end up throwing it away. I e-mailed the seller and told her she should be ashamed of herself selling such poor quality merchandise. Poshmark e-mailed me and complained that I wasn't "following their rules". Whoops. Sorry about that. Poshmark may work for some folks but if this is an indication, I'll pass. Too many other quality websites I can use.
Seller Desynow is rude and insulting, waited 2 weeks for an item that never shipped, when questioned she got rude and nasty! Wrote 5 complaints to Poshmark and they said they will refund my money and I should have it in 30 days! But nothing about the seller being rude or not following the rules!
Did have 2 seller that were great but this 1 and the way Poshmark handled it will make me stay away
I am on my third purchase in a row that hasn't shipped. I think I am done with Poshmark if the sellers don't ship their items. I bought a few things before that went fine, but it's just a waist of my time to buy something and wait 7 days to never get it, then have to cancel and get a refund; it doesn't make sense. Why sell it if you aren't planning on shipping it?
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
